Stephane was the Maitre d'Hotel for 12 years before purchasing Chez Catherine in 2016. His career spans many years at Alain Ducasse's restaurants in NYC and France and before that in a number of other restaurants throughout France.

    This was our first time and they did not disappoint. Rue 561 is a fantastic restaurant and we had a great evening. The food was phenomenal and the service was top notch. It’s pricey but worth it. Ingredient quality and freshness reflects their dedication to the farm to table concept. Every dish was balanced, well presented, and, most importantly, delicious. Portion sizes were fair and we went home with leftovers. We’re looking forward to going again to try some more of their offerings.

    Always a great meal. They have a full bar and excellent wine list with lots of wines by the glass. The menu is Fixed price, not huge but very good and varied selection with verbal specials given as choices as well. The food is amazing, beautifully presented and delicious. So worth a visit!!

    We had a great dining experience! The service was excellent. Don made sure we were well taken care of. The food was delicious. My wife had the Swordfish and I had the Halibut. Both were prepared well. Very tasty!
