I ate at The Keg in Banff, Alberta and loved it. So, I was excited to see one in Denver CO! Great food, good service, very good prices!

The ambiance was great, as always, and the food was absolutely amazing! The service was friendly and attentive, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. There really isn't anything bad to say—great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere every time. Highly recommend!

We booked an early (5 pm) table for five plus a toddler, and had a nice/ spacious table in the middle of the main dining room. The wine list was very good, although they didn’t have my first selection in stock. Cocktails were well done, and service was excellent. We got focaccia, sesame fried shrimp, and matcha dumplings for appetizers, and all were delicious, especially the dumplings, which were served in a brown broth. I got the bison short rib for my entree, and it was very lean but tender and well cooked. My wife and son in law had lobster lasagna, and they said it was fantastic! My daughter had the elk medallions, and another. My 6 yo grandson had linguini with meatballs and red sauce and ate it all, unusual for him. My daughter and I both ordered chocolate soufflé, and were disappointed, as it was almost completely liquid although tasty. Probably an altitude problem. Other desserts were fine. We will return next time we visit this area.

This was our second visit, and we will be going back. Food is great, drinks are great, service is great. Staff is friendly and professional and fun to engage with. Very consistent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The pacing of dinner and service is very deliberate. We never once felt rushed, but that leads me to this…. The only issue, both times we dined, was the time it took to get started. We were seated, then waited for our server. We ordered drinks, then waited for them to be made and delivered. Once we ordered, everything was awesome. It’s just that first step, the first point of service , is slower than you’d expect. Overall though, an excellent experience.

One of us has a garlic/onion allergy and our waiter took every precaution and spoke with the Chef. A perfect chicken dish was created, thankful. Couple bottles of wine, the most excellent hamburger and the amazing pork chop wrapped up our night on the patio. Met 3 very cool people who were dining close by…perfect evening.
