Great place to catch up with friends! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, and our server was attentive, accommodating, and never rushed us. We even had time for dessert. Parking was easy and convenient, and we liked having the choice of both the brunch and lunch menus. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon together. It was a great central location for our get-together.

Always a phenomenal experience here at Blackbird Kitchen and cocktails. The bartenders here must have studied Mixology to a level beyond what normal bartenders do because their drinks are always phenomenal and very unique. Their Mussels are out of this world. I could literally drink the broth that they steam them in. I always have to ask for more bread because I have to soak up the broth before they take it away. Every dish on their menu is so unique and exploding with flavors. I love the fact that they rotate different dishes on the menu and it’s not the same every time you go back, which makes the experience like you’ve been there for the first time every time. Their servers are phenomenal and always so accommodating for whatever you are looking for. I almost hate to keep giving this place great reviews, because it’s such a hidden little gem that I really don’t want it to become a place where you can never get a reservation. However, they deserve amazing reviews because the food and service here is just beyond imagination.

Spectacular!!! Let me say it again: SPECTACULAR! Julia, who greeted us at the door, was also our server. She was not only knowledgeable about what went into each dish, but so enthusiastic as well. When our appetizers arrived, we immediately understood; this is a very special place. And the entree was even better. The menu is small, but so delicious. We were invited into the kitchen to meet the Executive Chef Americo, and his 3 sons who work there. Check their references in the ABOUT part of the website. These guys can cook!

I love this place! The food is really good (you must try the roasted carrots). All of the people there are super nice and our waitress Angie was very attentive. It has a cool vibe - the room with the bar feels like you’re away in the Berkshires. Also love that they have live music in the cozy room with the fireplace.

We were stopping at this restaurant to have a meal before picking our son up at JFK airport. We knew we needed to eat something, and he was flying in from Spain, which we had also just been to and were missing so we wanted something similar. Traffic was horrific and I called on the way up as our ETA kept getting later and later. They were very understanding and made a joke that we would just turn the clocks back. The restaurant was beautiful inside and there wasn’t anyone else there other than a party of 6. The food was pricey, but excellent. One of our drinks was $28. They started with sliced pita bread served with olive oil and olives. We ordered the escargot which was very good and had beautiful presentation. We also ordered the grilled octopus which was delicious. We both ordered the branzino and though there were a lot of bones, it was still delicious.
