Our anniversary dinner at Quiessence was the best culinary experience of our lives. We chose the chef’s table and were seated right inside the kitchen, which made an already special evening feel unforgettable. Chef Christofolo and his team created a thoughtful six-course meal, with wonderful bonus courses woven throughout. Every dish came with a story: a different member of the team introduced each course and shared how the ingredients were sourced, prepared, and cared for. You could feel the talent and intention behind every detail. Karina, Faith, and the entire staff made us feel celebrated from the moment we arrived. The food, the setting, and the hospitality exceeded our expectations in every way. Quiessence is a true Valley gem, and we can’t wait to come back.

Great food & great service as always! We started with Chef Fiona's Whipped Goat Cheese Spread! It is amazing!! As are the Wagyu Meatballs. Do yourself a favor and order one or both!! We also had the Steak Frites and a Peperoni Pizza. it was definitely more food than we could eat but the leftovers made a great lunch the following day. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and she took great care of us. Thanks!

I’ve wanted to try Kai for years but was always deterred by the limited menu. I’m so glad I finally got over that. Kai is a truly unique and special dining experience—everything about it and everyone involved was excellent.

I wish I could give a restaurant 6 stars. This was the best service I have truly ever received. Our server was so passionate about explaining how chef made the dishes, it felt like we were in the kitchen making it with them. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they highlighted that multiple times throughout the meal and continuously made him feel special. We did the 8 course tasting menu and the food was absolutely to die for, with each course getting better than the last. The servings were quite large for a tasting menu which made it feel like the price was very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Absolutely 10/10 recommend, cannot wait to come back!

Handedly the best sushi I have ever had! The staff are all incredibly knowledgeable as they present you with the finest and most flavorful sushi, I have ever enjoyed. A touch louder than I would have preferred, but hey, it's Old Town.
