Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.     The Ebbitt Room. The farm-to-table menu was fresh and flavorful—scallops and calamari were standouts—and the service was warm and attentive. We have been dining at the restaurant for Years and it’s always a great experience. We love the food, the vibe and the service. Highly recommend it.

    Absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional without ever being overbearing. The food was exceptional—everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. Every dish that came to our table was beautifully presented and exceeded our expectations. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every plate they serve. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. It’s not often you find a restaurant that gets everything right, but this one certainly does. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends. Five stars aren’t enough!
