The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

In Birdsboro-Gibraltar, Christine's Creekside Inn has a long and interesting history. What is now the restaurant's building was known at various times for being a grist mill, a knitting mill, a speakeasy and a fine dining establishment. Open for lunch and dinner, Christine's Creekside Inn also serves private groups such as wedding receptions, reunions, holiday parties and other special occasions. Christine's Creekside Inn has separate menus for the dining hall and pub. The dining menu offers Northern Italian fare, steaks and seafood with chef specialties like the veal de la casa or chicken ala Christine. The pub menu offers burgers and sandwiches and a limited number of entrees such as spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo and 6-oz. pub filet.
