Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. Cancellations made before the 72-hour time period will be refunded 50% of total cost per person + tax.Reduction in the number of guests in the party are subject to cancellation charge. Please be on time to enjoy all the courses. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.Omakase means a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef.Chef will create some courses with seasonal, and best available ingredients.Please call Hikari (530) 564-4356 to request Tuesday to Thursday night dinner. Walk-ins are welcome during the weekday Mini Omakase service.

Since 2005, Magpie has served farm to table fare that reflects the values of life in California’s Central Valley. Our menu has an interesting mix of dishes highlighting the season's best offerings of share plates, bites, and entree's. We are more committed than ever to our mission of celebrating what makes our city and region special, and contributing to it by making seasonal, farm-to-table food in Sacramento. We are walking distance from California's state capitol building and convention center on the corner of 16th and P Streets overlooking the beautiful tree filled Fremont Park. The lively restaurant space features artwork and murals from local artists with bar, booth and table seating. The open patio has a variety of tall and low tables surrounded by live edge wooden benches and Magpie's iconic yellow umbrellas.

    The dining experience at Canon was spectacular. The food was second to none. We ordered just the right amount of food. Whole Chicken + smashed potatoes was perfect. Our server Katie was the perfect energy/vibe to carry a great night. Incredibly friendly, responsive; thoughtful; helpful with menu choices. It was a tad loud - the entire space is acoustically challenged, but the vibe is still fantastic.

    This place is really a gem, the food is delicious, the service is fast and pleasant, it’s location is downtown quiet easy for parking. The bar is generous, they have proprietary cocktails. We had the best falafel ever, the mezze is a great way to sample various food, I had the lamb shank it was very nice, the chicken shishcobab was very moist, the baklava is best, everything was fantastic.
