    We tried this for the first time and it was excellent. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and everyone was professional. The food was excellent as were the Negronis. The staff has obviously been well trained but they do not seem to be experienced servers. Our waitress could not answer questions about the special fish dish without going to see a chef or supervisor. Even then she couldn't tell us how it was prepared. But we understand that everyone is new at their job at some point. We would definitely go back again.

    This is a very welcome addition to our local dining scene, even with the plethora of Italian restaurants available,. Troy Social is a standout. The food is delicious with a number of dishes prepared at tableside. The service was personal, attentive and excellent. Joe, the owner, spent time talking with us. The drinks were generous. The prices are reasonable. Overall, we give this a 10! The ambiance is calm and elegant with white linen tablecloths and napkins.
