Five West Kitchen + Bar

The food, drinks and dessert were all wonderful. Our waitress and the bar manager were both knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions.

We so missed being able to dine in. This is our favorite place to dine. Great, fun waitress.

We love dining here the reservation feature is a plus, the service is great, the food is great and the drinks are great. I love the ambience and noise level isn’t too bad.

We had THE BEST service from Liz last Wednesday night!!! She was friendly, fast, never let our drinks run dry or our tummy’s growl for long at all!! 10/10 will return!

Creative breakfast options that are reminiscent of the traditional classics. Weekend brunch menu is a terrific mix of breakfast and lunch options. The butterscotch crème brûlée was the perfect icing on the cake!

Ample parking, nice looking building. A lot of outside seating with great views. We went for breakfast with our friend and our young son. Waitress was accommodating to our little guy. Expansive menu, great service. Children’s meal was quite large, excellent value. Would give ten stars if I could.

I went for my wife’s birthday with two other friends. We had an amazing night and our server Ashley made it even better. She was incredibly friendly and helpful since we had not been there before. Will definitely be coming again!

Overall good. Soup was Lukewarm and unfortunately this is my second experience where food was not warm when served. Service was a little less than expected. When my daughter asked about what was in a soup the server seemed less than thrilled to have to explain what was in it. So much potential, but feel it came up short..

A beautiful day. So glad to sit outside and spend afternoon with friends.

We have dined here a number of times and did not feel the food was the same quality. The walleye was over done, too thin, and had a lot of gray spots in it. The queso was watery.

Once again, 5West does not disappoint. We go once a month for GNO and we never even discuss going anywhere else. The staff is amazing, the ambiance is awesome and the food is the best.

We had good time. We felt safe (COVID-19-wise) eating indoors.

Five West is one of the best restaurants Rochester has to offer. Amazing food along with an amazing atmosphere!

Wonderful dining experience on the patio!

We went with another couple and needed to social distance. They were over the top with helping us to a table where we felt very comfortable. The staff were amazing and as usual the food was great! Thank you!!

What a great night on the patio! We had a group of six at the fire table. The staff lit the fire and continued with excellent service! Great wine list and the food was fantastic!

we got to Five West once a month for Girl's night out. It is our favorite place to meet. the patio is awesome, the waitstaff is great.

Two reasons to come here, short ribs and short ribs. If your a fan you know you can't find them often, and these are the best I've had. Worth the trip from anywhere. I live 400 miles away and every trip to Rochester includes a stop here! One of the few places I recommend without hesitation.

Great good and atmosphere! We had Dinner with dessert. Husband has steak with fettuccine and I had the ancient grain chicken bowl! Highly recommend!

Very good for a chain restaurant... don’t let that deter you!

Birthday dinner

Food and service was good - met a friend for dinner and drinks and sat out on the patio. Nice evening.

We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day, while eating a delicious sandwich. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often.

We've been there for dinner and brunch. Both were excellent. We'll be there again!

Waited 10+ minutes for a server to approach our table.

Waited an unacceptable amount of time for our breakfast to arrive ... then, three meals arrived together and the fourth 10 minutes later.

Finally ... all food was very COLD.

For the prices they charge, they should be providing top notch service. This was at 10:30 on a Sunday morning ... the restaurant was busy, but not extraordinary so.

No excuses for the above.

Will not be returning anytime soon.

Very loud inside, very hard to have a conversation. Need more of something to keep the level of noise down.

This was definitely the best meal I have had at Five West for awhile. Although the servers have always been fabulous my last few meals at this establishment were not up to the usual standard....funny as I almost always get the same thing..a salad with salmon added

The food we ordered was awful. The blueberry pancakes had no flavor at all and hardly any blueberries in it. The sausage patties looked and tasted like cardboard. My girlfriends breakfast was no better. Neither of us finished the pancakes and threw out the sausage. We are better off going to Dennys for food that tastes way better and costs much less. $10 for blueberry pancakes and cardboard sausage patties. Will never come back for this food.

Food was average and expensive 23.00 for breakfast is a bit much for French toast coffee and 2 eggs. Service was so so.
