My wife, son, and I enjoyed a wonderful meal from start to finish. Our server was very attentive and professional. The food was delicious. We started with grilled octopus, onion soup, and Caesar salads, all very tasty. My son had one of the three specials, chicken rolled in pasta with spinach and cheese with a creamy cheese sauce. He loved it. My wife had the shrimp scampi and said it was terrific. I had pork osso bucco which was off-the-charts good. I NEVER order pork when we eat out, but I am glad I did this time. The pork was so tender and the red wine reduction was extremely flavorful. I am going to have a tough time considering anything else next time I stop in.

I dined at Leonessa this week for the first time to celebrate my friend's retirement. The drive to get there was 35 minutes, but it was so worth it! I am a foodie with high standards, and it is seldom (in my 69 years) that a restaurant does everything so well. That is, until Leonessa. The place is decorated with lots of festive lights, and feels rather cozy, as there as several dining spaces. The staff was enthusiastic, sweet, and aware of the occasion, as well as protective of my dietary needs. And the food!!! My friend and I both had the duck, which was fabulous, a generous serving, and so delicious! We ordered broccoli rabe as well, which was also so well prepared. We were told by another guest that it is difficult to get a reservation in the summer. So make yours ahead, but don't miss this place. We have plans to return for several other special occasions.

It was a cute classy brunch spot on the cape with a piano and nice chandelier long table room as nice touches - service was great and food was really good - would love to come back again and check out dinner. The cappuccino, croquet monsieur, and their spin on the Bloody Mary are must-trys!

Seasonal entrees make it special. This time it was the Roast Pork Tenderloins and the Shrimp Scampi. And, of course, the pre-meal bread and oil.

Visiting Hyannis from out of state and decided to try Embargo. Definitely one of the best decisions ever. Drinks, food and service were some of the best we've ever experienced. Would make a trip back just to go there again. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try Embargo.
