We eat at Franchesca's when ever we are in town, it is always a wonderful experience , great food, professional service.

Wonderful food and service again - will definitely be coming back. May avoid booths in the future as the person behind me was restless and shook me much of the evening. Other than that, very good time!

Lovely menu and flexible chef. Needed fish prepared different from menu for dietary restrictions and chef made delicious meal. Good Covid distancing and exceptional waitress. Always a good visit to Francesca’s!

We were just here two weeks ago. It was great. New menu this time. Wonderful too. Very nice that they change it up. Everything was delicious both times. Very happy to be out dining again!!👍👍

Our 2nd time in within a month our second kitchen really when we are too tired to cook

This was the first time we ate at this restaurant. Our food was amazing and the service was very good. We had a seafood combination in a delicate wine sauce, grilled calamari for an appetizer, and an overall great experience. This is on our frequent list now.

We have been going to Francesca's restaurants for years including Francesca Intimo and Dissoto. Both restaurants are not as good during the quarantine. We look forward to both restaurants returning to their pre-COVID status with better menus and better quality of food. In my opinion there are too many cream sauces offered and not enough healthy, flavorful choices. The salmon with the brandy cream is too rich and defeats the purpose of ordering seafood. The chicken pesto is described as pesto but is also very creamy and rich. We were disappointed in both dishes. The last time we picked up from Dissoto it was also disappointing. We loved both restaurants pre-COVID and will not return until you are back with a better menu to offer. Thank you!

Didn't have a good experience. Have been to a lot of other Francesca's all of which were much better. The chicken was really dry and just not good. When we got there the entire restaurant was empty except for 1 other table and the manager seats us at the table right next to them so we are talking over each other while the entire restaurant was quiet. We asked to move and it felt like it was a huge inconvenience. We love Francesca's but will continue to go to the other ones and not this one in Lake Forest.

Delicious food, nice setting, very attentive staff. Our group sat inside, at a table perfect for conversation, laughter, and the plentiful offerings of Francesca’s. Had it been a bit warmer, we would have enjoyed outdoor seating.

It was our first time out to dinner in over a year and we were celebrating my birthday.

I made a reservation knowing that Francesca's draws a good crowd. this was a business lunch and timing was near perfect as Lake Forest apparently went on Spring Break. we were one of two tables for lunch.

Past experience was repeated. Good food, etc.. The wait staff was teriffic.

Had the ravioli specials for the day. Mushroom and The Ricotta with the red sauce. Calamari to start and a lovely bottle of wine. Peggy, our server, working at Intimo for 25 years was great. Weak point were profiteroles with pistachio gelato. Not a good one but this was a week night out during the pandemic and it was a special evening. Of all the Francesca’s we have gone to we like this one the best.
Will certainly return.

The drinks were ok. Linguini grittier di mare é morti was very good

The carpaccio was excellent as was my salmon and my husband’s veal.

We were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time. The manager apologized several times and then brought appetizers to us as an apology. He should be commended for doing the right act. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We ordered our entrees to go, because we were full after eating all the appetizers.

Our Server Nan was great and we will be back again.

We had a lovely dinner - split the calamari and burratta salad as well as the ravioli with asparagus and ricotta. All were very good. Service was excellent and Covid rules were well followed. We enjoyed a great bottle of Raeburn Chardonnay.

This was a perfect evening. Our service was fabulous, the food was beautiful and delicious.. I wish I had taken a picture of the beautiful Francesca's salad before I devoured it. My jumbo shrimp and pasta was great. I took half of it home and enjoyed it the next day. My husband managed to eat most of his spaghetti and meatballs. This restaurant never disappoints!!!!

Great pasta. Unfortunately there were not many people inside. They now have only 5 booths and 5 tables. It’s a shame. This place used to be packed every night. Still great food though.

We decided to grab Italian for dinner Saturday tonight. Francesca's is one of our favorite places in Lake Forest, IL to get good homemade Italian food. Our dinners were tasty and prepared perfectly. Good food, nice atmosphere and nice servers

Food was quite good, though they ran out of bolognese sauce by 6:15 pm. Waitress explained this was due to extreme number of carry-out orders. Replacement was very good. We felt comfortable with the COVID-19 precautions in place. The music was an odd choice, especially for Valentine's Day, 70s/80s classic rock. Festive decorations. On an extremely cold night, we were near the back of the restaurant but felt the freezing air every time the front door opened,, doubtful anything could be done in this Winter weather.

Amazing! Never disappoints!

My wife and I had the Salmon that evening and we have to say, it was one of the best meals or the best meal we have had at the restaurant. Only interruption, was a centipede looking bug found its way on our table and my wife brushed it off. Rest of the evening she was Leary of the bug finding it's way back to or house. We told the manager and he said it's Winter and cold outside and bugs like to come inside. I should have left a business card or number of a Pest Control company with my tip. Inspire of this issue, we will be going back.

It was great to be there again. Limited seating and enough of spacing. Food was fantastic!!!
