We love to eat at the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. They’re always specials so you have extra choices. They focus on farm to table but really have a way with flavor.

Fabulous meal. Three of us dined . I had the mushroom ravioli which was the most flavorful meal I’ve had in a long time . My husband had the trout and our friend had I believe a grouper. Everything was just amazing and our waiter went out of his way the get us an appetizer Hen of the woods which is one of our favorites..

We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday with friends. My husband liked very much the duck main dish. All others ordered the trout main dish and we were disappointed. The Caesar salad was very good. Service was very attentive and friendly but the overall dining experience was average. I was happy to see that they were practicing social distancing and all staff wearing masks.

Yet another delicious meal at FLPH! Thank you! The coconut curry soup is out of this world, and the bison burgers are just amazing. The coconut shrimp is the best we've ever had, and of course, the famous Caesar.

It was my Birthday Weekend which we spent at The Biltmore in Asheville and so we saw the reviews for The Glass Onion on Open Table and decided to give it a try. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. We will definitely go back !

Food is good although a bit salty for my taste. Our server brought our salads and starters all at the same time which we mildly complained about. We will go back again.

Another great meal at Frogs Leap. Our waitress was great. food was wonderful. If you have never been to this restaurant, I urge you to look them up online and review their menu before you go. It is not a huge menu but they include much detail for each meal item. Getting a headstart helps in your decision making. They have a nice wine, beer and mixed drink menu. Enjoy if you try them. I do.

It is my go to restaurant in Waynesville when I am in town. Their food and service never disappoints. I recommend going for a very nice dinner out.

Great food and service we will be back again

We have not been in a while but our daughter encouraged us to try again as she felt it had improved since her last visit. (All our previous visits were precovid). I found the menu to be more exciting and creative. Our food was good although Luke warm and we didn’t send it back because we didn’t want the meat to be overcooked. We brought our own wine, although we think the $25.00 corkage fee a bit high, since the competing restaurant on the block only charges $10.00.
We also felt that the tables were not spaced apart enough, although staff all wore masks, the party of four near us was so close I could hear every bit of their conversation. Since we are in a high risk group due to age, we won’t be back until things get safer.

I could tell from the 1st bite that I was in a special place! The meal was spectacular and when I asked the waitress if the chef had trained at the CIA, she said yes. Obvious!

Third or fourth time traveling to Waynesville from Raleigh suburbs and eating at Frogs Leap. A really great restaurant every time. Food is simply outstanding, what else is there to say? Despite the pandemic, they have managed to do the things necessary for safety, and still provide a great experience.

When in the Waynesville/Asheville area, Frog's Leap Public House is one of the first places we choose to visit. Food is outstanding and service is top-notch. We visit Waynesville almost every year for the relaxation and the environment; however, the biggest highlights for us are the excellent restaurants in Waynesville. FLPH is at the top of the list. Good people, great food and a friendly place to enjoy the perfect meal.

Everything from the time we walked in was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Tanya our server was engaging and gave us great suggestions. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! Kudos to the chef for making such beauty out of his delicious food. If you are in town, don’t miss this place! You won’t be sorry. As good as ever, and Tony is the best

The food was so different from other fine restaurants. So creative and delicious. The aromas in the restaurant make your mouth water as soon as you arrive. We brought an out of town couple and they said the steak rivaled Halls. Tanya was a great server. We will be back!

During this time of COVID-19 we were concerned with social distancing and wearing of masks within the restaurant. They did a great job with both. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was one of the best meals we have ever had. Delish and served at proper temperature.

Eaten here for years now. It is Our Place for a special dinner for whatever the occasion.

You simply must go if in the area or ready for a road trip for some excellent, well presented, perfectly balanced, and unique cuisine! There are simply not words to describe the preparation and imagination of the dishes served. It is incredible! Take a look at the menu online. It speaks for itself and having looked at it, we were excited to give the restaurant a try. However, the menu could not have prepared us for the amazing preparation and imagination that created our meal. I could attempt to go into great detail describing such and would fail. You must taste it. So, make a reservation and hit the road Jack!

Excellent food. Loved all of it. It’s not a place for everyday, but for a very special occasion, it’s amazing.

Had dinner there Saturday night the 19th. Food was great. Awesome wine menu. But our server; Jacob could careless. He lacked about paying attention to detail. Several mistakes could’ve been avoided if he just payed attention and communicated with us. He was more focused on up selling than explaining items.
For instance, wanted a salad but i read the menu wrong and actually ordered the soup, if he just listened, he could have corrected the mistake by just explaining to me that i ordered the wrong item.
But what was the most disappointing of all was the chocolate mousse. It was spoiled. Completely off, didn’t taste chocolate at all. We informed our server and he brought it to attention to the chef... came back with the reply of too much cocoa. Which was a lie. We ate the whip cream and peanut butter cookie. Jacob made no effort on correcting the situation but instead he still charge for the desert.

I’m hard to “WOW” but this placed WOWed me. The flavor combinations and profiles were excellent. They’d be acclaimed in a big city and here they are tucked on a side street In Waynesville. They work as they were one foot in classic techniques and one foot in experimental flavors. Cocktails were well crafted, red wine served at the correct temp, and service was warm yet prompt. Overall an excellent dining experience.

Kimberly was very helpful and friendly. The owner came to the table to inquire about our experience and personally served an entree and the desert. Everyone enjoyed their selections.
