A very pleasant meal and evening, with good service.
Was very sick and not feeling well but they accommodated and we’re super amazing!
Dinner was delicious and karaoke was a ball! Will definitely be back!
Excellent food & service
Went here for restaurant week and glad I tried it here! The sushi seems pricy otherwise but it was very good. The rice was a touch too sweet on some of the sushi I had but not detectable with others. Service was outstanding and I do believe I will come here again.
Food was delicious and the service was great
The food was EXCELLENT! Our waitress was also amazing. She was always checking in and making sure we were ok.
We went for restaurant week lunch, with only the dinner menu available. The food was superb and so filling, we definitely got our money's worth. Would go again with friends or family.
Very nice to come in and be immediately seated with my appointment I did not like how sporadic the service was with very little tables or other customers.
Overall great menu option and choices for Philly restaurant week. Food was good! We had the seafood miso, takoyaki, fried calamari (was ok), fuji sashimi with tuna hand roll, steak teriyaki. For dessert green tea and red bean ice cream. Had their hot house saki, Tasty!!!
Service could of been better, our server was soft spoken, didn't really check on us. No drink refills. Had to track her down a couple times, walked by our table and glanced and took off.
Very nice staff. Good sushi and sashimi for the money.
This place is great for everyday dinning. It’s a go to for lunch. The food is great and reasonably priced as well as good portions.
Service was good, food as described and portions were nice sized. Our whole party agreed they would return
Fuji Mountain is one of the very best Japanese restaurants in the Philadelphia area. We ate here for lunch during Center City Restaurant Week and had a really good meal. It consisted of 5 courses: 1. Soup, 2: Salad (Sashimi Salad), 3: Appetizer (Gyoza for me and Shrimp Shumai for my wife), Main Course (Sashimi and Sushi Premium). and dessert (Green Tea Ice Cream for both of us. Everything was excellent.
We frequently come to Fuji Mountain. There is an incredible variety of options from sushi and shasimi to rolls and entree options. We have never been disappointed, and we have tried many dishes here. On this night, my husband had the “Bimbambop” and I had miso seafood soup and the seafood salad under the cold appetizer options, as I wasn’t that hungry. The quality of the food is good and the value is good as well. My husband took some of his meal home and he enjoyed it for lunch the next day. We’ll be back again soon.
Sushi was fresh and delicious. Udon bowl was great; broth nicely seasoned and full of yummy ingredients.
Great Japanese food! Affordable, with good service and an eclectic location. No fried rice, though :(
We really wanted to like this place since it got such good reviews but our experience fell flat. The service was painfully slow (ie; got my drink 25 minutes after I ordered it) but we were willing to forgive the slow service had the food been worth the wait... it wasn’t. Our specialty rolls were sloppy; they were loosely put together and the fish was tough and not well cut. The unagi sushi was the best part of the meal as the shrimp shumai was good but cold. Also disappointed that the majority of specialty rolls were based around shrimp tempura leaving us with few fresh fish choices.
Food was delicious. Not sure if the service was slow or if they were allowing our boisterous table to enjoy a leisurely meal on a slow night.
Sushi not that great. The rolls were t stuffed yet weren’t closed at the bottom. It was decent.
Great sushi/Japanese restaurant, traditional decor and ambiance inside, and food is excellent quality. Prices are fair, only small issue was the karaoke area on the 3rd floor bleeds noise into the dining area on the 2nd floor, which can be a bit disruptive, but it's a small issue. Wait staff were very polite and kind, going back to get me extra information I requested on a few types of sushi. We have been here before and will be going back again. They also have a pretty well-rounded sake and alcohol list.
Good food, nice server, I’ll be back.
Everything was very nice. The food was really good, as well as the service.
If you want super delicious Sushi in Philly, this is the place for you!
Not well maintained, food very good
Great food and price. Sushi is so fresh. Very polite server.
The food and the service at Fuji Mountain are outstanding. We went for restaurant week; the selection was excellent. Can’t wait to come back again.
Really excellent food. Service is great too. You can’t beat their Restaurant Week lunch for $20
Great service and great food!!!
Restaurant week. There was a sign out front $20/lunch. $35/dinner. No where did the sign say, no lunch served on weekends. We looked up lunch menu Online, lunch menu was there and again, no where did it say “no lunch” on weekends. There were a few table that sat down but left because the lunch menu wasn’t being served Sat. False advertising all around.
As for the food, the sushi was fresh and decent. I felt that everything else we had was a bit salty. All the noodle dishes had the same soup/broth base.
We were the first group in and one of the last to leave. It took so long!!! And then... 20% was automatically added to our bill. We had a party of 6. Not again!!!
It was my fiancé and my favorite spot. We especially loved the restaurant week men
Food was very good and the place itself was friendly
It's better than most value sushi restaurants in Philly can offer. Went there during the restaurant week, and came out full and happy. The ambiance was perfect for the date night, and it was really quite despite couple tables filled on a Sunday night. I had a good night overall and will come back again.
We had dinner on a sat eve and the place was pretty empty. We love Sushi and we know good sushi and not so great sushi....I’d call what we had not-so-great. While I don’t believe the fish turned bad or rancid...I’d have left immediately...It just didn’t really taste super fresh. I also had shrimp shumai and there were hardly any shrimp inside...very doughy and lacking flavor. When it comes to sushi, I can’t compromise. It’s gotta be super fresh and lacking that ready to turn bad hint of fishiness that this had.
There are way too many sushi places to choose from so I won’t be coming back here.
We had a great time. The food was excellent and the service was good!
Had a nice meal here with my son. Service was great, food quality very good, and tasty.
Ambiance was traditional Japanese, only the local heatwave in the city made it a bit warmer than usual
during our dining.
It was great but there were a lot of little bugs and flies flying around that went very distracting and annoying
We wnet to celebrate our graduates and we really enjoyed our food. The service was great. We enjoyed everything about our visit. Any time my mother is happy with her food and service, it was a great meal.
We continue to explore the menu. I had the seafood salad appetizer and the fried oysters for my entree (they are listed under hot appetizer). My husband had the house salad, and the bulgiula (beef, mushrooms, peppers) entree, and he loved it. Always a good meal here and we have tried a fair number of the dishes at this point. Never have we been disappointed.
