Garibaldi - Savannah

Beautiful restaurant, romantic setting. Waiter was great. Food was good but not amazing. Still loved our visit there!

We did not realize that the same owner of the Old Pink House also owns Garibaldi. Charlie at the bar is a special guy and I would recommend listening to his recommendations. The food and service is impeccable and you cannot go wrong with any choice of entree. Our party of four had the Crispy Duck, Crispy Flounder, Veal Chop and the Carbonara. All four were delightful.

I think the ambiance is much better downstairs. We were at upstairs and it did not feel as cozy.

For the price the food was just okay. Sauces were very salty. The bread should have been warm. The server was excellent. We were looking for a more authentic Italian family restaurant but this wasn’t it.

My girlfriend and I had dinner on a rainy Thursday night and we could not have asked for a better restaurant ambiance. It was spectacular. The scores founder was perfect as always and the wine was excellent.

Shrimp Risotto cake appetizer, grilled mahi-mahi (special of the day), and Scored Flounder were delicious. Service from Patrick was top notch. Really enjoyed our meal at Garibaldi!

What a great experience...again! I haven’t been her in 4 years since I moved away from Savannah and I was welcomed the exact same way as I was 4 years ago! The service, food, and ambiance was amazing as always. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Thank you for keeping the elevated standards in all phases. I love this place and can’t wait to come back!

It was a Covid-19 State of Emergency!!!! And This Restaurant didn’t disappoint! Everything was Amazing. New Year’s Eve dinner was on point. And by the looks of the restaurant every other day shouldn’t change. I highly recommend this place for the future. Thank you for an amazing evening.

The food is not particularly inspired or creative, relying more on covering everything with cream, butter and salt. Our meal was very heavy and did not seem prepared with any care or pride. Our server was cordial and eager to please, but young, as was most of the FOH staff, and did not seem very knowledgeable about food or wine. Our server removed my cocktail before I was finished (didn't ask if I was done) and over-filled our wine glasses when pouring more, leaving almost none in the bottle (we had a white in a chiller) and us with warm white wine in our glasses through our entrees. The ambience is great, though. The downstairs is very swanky and festive. I think this place rides on history, location, and the facade of fine dining without actually delivering fine food. Go for a cocktail then spend your money at another restaurant with a good chef. There's plenty of other choices in Savannah!

Beautiful place, good food, great service, except for the hostess who was a bit rude. The music is too loud and does not go well with the place, but everything else is great!

Our meal at Garabaldi was amazing! The food so so good and the service was awesome. Our waiter was Bobbi and he did amazing! I’d definitely recommend!

fantastic meal, as always, great wait staff and so knowledgeable and informed - and kind and gracious - hard to find great food, atmosphere and drink these days, but you can easily at garibaldi's - we were late i changing reservations on new years eve and they were so great and acommodating, will be back in a heartbeat...........

Great dinner. Service was ok. We were sitting where you could smell cigarettes and cigars because the door was open.

Absolutely outstanding meal. NYE 2020 - oysters, lobster pasta and chicken piccata. Old fashioneds were also excellent.

The seating was awful in which we were a party of 2 seated at a table with one chair. When another chair came the cushion fell on the floor. Our meals came later than several people who had sat down after us. The waiter was very nice and worked hard to make the meal good.

We enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner. Loved the place and ambience. Thank you!

Our waiter was excellent and the lobster rabini and the PEI mussels were absolutely delicious!!

Very good masking in place for all employees and great social distancing. Our meals were quite good and the service was professional and friendly. My husband loved his Veal chop and my flounder was very tasty.

This was a wonderful place to celebrate the first night of our trip. The tables are laid out so we’ll and very privately. The food was excellent and the feel of the restaurant even better.

We couldn't get into Pink House. Turns out they are affiliated with Pink House but at PH no one suggested Garibaldi when there were no reservations available as an alternative. I found the affiliation on my own. I liked Garibaldi's ambience better and the food and service were excellent.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing and service was exceptional! I tried the Steak Diane, absolutely DELICIOUS! My husbands favorite is the Lobster Pasta, which I have had in the past and is always amazing! We shared the Key Lime Pie for dessert and that was also excellent! Definitely one of our favorite places to eat!

A beautiful restaurant, especially as decorated for Christmas. Food was very good. My husband had a veal chop - he loved it. I had the Clam Chowder and then I had the tenderloin. Clam chowder was the best I have ever tasted. Service was perfect with Brooke as our server. There is downstairs and upstairs dining. We sat upstairs which is quite lovely. Stairs might be an issue for some. There are BR facilities on both levels.
