    Ambience was made even better by a guy behind us falling off his chair. What more could you ask for?! Food was great and our waiter (forgotten his name unfortunately) was superb. Very attentive, very nice, very knowledgable and also funny! Only downside really was I feel charging for the sauce on the steaks is a bit wild and could do with rethinking. Other than that though, very enjoyable experience and will be back again

    Being immediately after New Year and early in the week, the restaurant was only moderately busy and comfortably accommodated our party of 8. The service was attentive and the food was good, albeit expensive especially when one adds in side dishes [chips, vegetables etc] each circa £4 to accompany the main courses. My main gripe is that the wine list is expensive, with the cheapest wines at £35 and rapidly rising thereafter for wines that aren't particularly special, which in turn bumps up the service charge.

    The food was delicious we had steak and truffle pasta. Raving reviews on all dishes. The interior is lovely and so much nicer than shown online. 100% recommend

    This was my first visit to the restaurant for a special occasion. The place looks great from the outside and the food is very high quality - though portions could be a little larger (this is a personal note, unimportant). The place is filled with nice staff and has a relaxing vibe - all you could want from a restaurant. If you like red meat, this is the place for you (there are great alternatives too like seabass or chicken).

    The restaurant was fine but nothing special and seemed a bit tired and ask if the decor needs a big update. The chairs are really uncomfortable and cheap feeling and the banquette seating super uncomfortable. The sea bass was good and cooked well, as was the filet. The gnocchi dish didn’t seem freshly made. For the price I think the restaurant should be cleaner and fresher.

    2nd time here for Sunday lunch and, once again, didn’t disappoint! The food was lovely (the roast potatoes weren’t as good as last time, but still lovely!), our server was attentive, kind and friendly. Really enjoyed!

    The food was great and a lovely venue. However, the table setting and the carpets were visibility a let down. Dark carpets looked as they need hoovering and the table setting felt as they have added more seats for new years dinner(it seems a bit awkward settings for a high end restaurant). Overall the food and service was good and had a great time. Recommend the seabass and rump steak!

    Great service, from beginning to end. Front of House Staff welcomed us by name, remembered it was our anniversary and introduced us to our waiter. Waiter was superb, great recommendations and took us through the cuts of meat available. Even allowed us to order 1 starter from the set menu and combine it with the A La Carte. Wine list is superb and food absolutely delicious. Would very much recommend!

    Outstanding steak and service, the quality of food and wine is absolutely top notch. One tiny quibble, we needed to ask to move table as a group brought their large hairy dog to the restaurant. I find it difficult to understand why a restaurant would agree to a dog being there. One of our party is allergic to dogs, but apart from that it's just unhygienic to bring a large dog to a restaurant, Gaucho should not allow it. They moved us quickly and with no fuss and it did not spoil our enjoyment of the fantastic food and wine.

    The meat cuts (tira de ancho) was average, with quite a bit of fat, not the proper one. Service is good as usual. Value too high for the overall experience.

    I’ve been going to Gaucho for many years and always enjoy it. I have to say the food was not so amazing this time. The meat was exceptional on the roast but the potatoes and veg were very average. No better than a pub to be honest. Also we had scallops that had a sauce that was outrageously spicy. The one thing that is always great at Gaucho is the service. And any issues we had were dealt with very professionally. I would return for sue but most likely not for the roast. Overpriced for what it was.

    Was disappointed that the complimentary bread has been removed. Also we're several dogs in the restaurant that were barking frequently, not something I wanted to hear for our special dinner.

    My starter order was incorrect and then it took a long time to arrive and needed reminding. We waited far too long to be able to pay the bill. The staff were not attentive to our needs. I was underwhelmed by the taste of the food. I expected better.

    Great service from Piltrec (?) and Slavi. One of the side dishes and steaks were undercooked but we were well looked after (25% off the bill) and the rest of the food was very good. We had the Christmas dinner menu which was great value

    Incredible service, our waiters couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely food. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. Point to note is that you can’t park nearby, closest is about an 8 minute walk away so not too bad!
