    This was a very special treat for my 60th birthday and a really wonderful experience. I would never be able to afford to eat in such a place so I relished every moment. The food was exquisite, unique and imaginative combinations of taste and texture, all new to me and all vegan. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable without being patronising. The special Happy Birthday in chocolate piping on my dessert plate was an extra thoughtful touch! My friend and I had a lovely evening, the only complaint being that the gin martinis we ordered to have with the canapes didn't arrive until the 3rd course. Otherwise everything was perfect, thank you so much!

    Superb food. Very ugly space upstairs, tatty and awkward. No music, so weirdly silent. The waitperson was a bit cringy/cheesy. They should move out of SOHO into an intimate, beautiful space that is more representative of the food.

    It’s a long time since we’ve had a tasting menu so it was a real treat to find an all vegan restaurant of this calibre. The food was outstanding and we will be talking about it for a long time! We recommend trying the orange wine which we found went well with everything.

    Excellent vegan food, only let down for me was the 3D printed plant to mimic steak for the main course. Why? No need to. Why do you need to mimic meat? All the other plant/fruit preparations were excellent.

    That there is no meat is neither here nor there - it is very accomplished cuisine. That it is entirely vegetarian is astonishing. Excellent from start to finish.

    Absolutely outstanding. Quite honestly the best meal of my life. We had the 9 course vegan taster menu. Every course was a delicious surprise. Excellent service and will definitely be returning.

    Thoroughly delicious meal and great service. The Petit Diner was exquisite and it was such an amazing experience to enjoy such wonderful vegan food.     If you want to enjoy a vegan Michelin start-like experience don’t hesitate to go to Gauthier Soho. The restaurant has this chic cozy home ambience in which each detail has been carefully thought. From the lights, the decoration, the table distribution and the separation between them, you will be having the beginning of a sensorial experience. Its peak will be the incredible menu displayed. The staff knows their job and are extremely nice and helpful. I encourage everyone to enjoy the wine pairing to enhance the food. You won’t regret it.

    Everything to love about Gauthier. The tasting menu with the wine pairing was incredible and kept us inspired and impressed. Redefined meat! Unbelievable. It felt very special to have the chance to taste it prepared by amazing chefs. The texture, look and flavours left us stunned. We were made to feel very special by Holly. Thoroughly recommended.     The overall experiance was great! Very interesting courses. The first 3 were amazing and than started to less tasty for me. The plating was beautiful. The staff were very kind, explainatory and welcoming. The mood in the restorant was very calming and relaxing. The light was a bit dark for me to see.

    Incredible food and service. Gauthier pushes the boundaries of flavour and what's possible on a plant based diet. "Tomorrow" and dishes that aren't available to the public yet are real show stoppers!

    Atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. Staff helpful and friendly. Bottom line with the food? Best meal ever. I’ve been a vegetarian for 40 years, eaten in many classy restaurants but nothing comes close. Will be back for seasonal menu change.

    I really enjoyed my visit to Gauthier Soho for the 5 PM seating. Lovely staff, excellent service and tasty food. I did the wine pairing which was fun, though it included 4 glasses of wine which is just too much for a 2 hour period. The only disappointment regarding food was the 3D printed meat - I have not eaten meat for 30 years and I just did not enjoy taste the texture/taste. The only disappointment regarding the restaurant generally was that the ladies toilets were unheated and uncomfortably cold. Perhaps they can sort this out. I would recommend a visit!

    I am a real fan of yours telling friends you are amazing. I took a friend for a birthday treat and both of us thought the whole experience was spoiled by it being rushed. You do not have enough time to do the early evening session properly. We arrived at 5pm by the time we were seated and asked about aperitifs and wine choices it was about 5.20pm. The pre first course is acceptable during aperitifs but not the first meal course. All other courses arrived quickly after each other and at the end within a minute of our coffee arriving we were told we only had three minutes left at the table. You need to alter the time between the first session and the later session. Even fifteen minutes would change the overall experience for the earlier diners.

    Great vegan food. Perhaps too much wine with the paring. We felt kind of rushed as well. Service pretty good, except when told to get own jacket from the clock room. Very keen to hang it there when I got there. What gives when I left? Left a small bad taste in the mouth after a lovely meal and a small fortune. Will be back in a year kind of place, cheers.

    Absolutely delicious food - incredibly creative. The "meat" made with a 3D printer (obviously all plant-based) blew our minds. Brilliant, friendly staff. We did the wine pairings - highly recommended.

    We had a wonderful early evening tasting dinner with 8 amazingly presented and tasty courses. We kept on having to read the menu to check what things were as the tastes were so very well blended and curated. And the staff were all very attentive and enthusiastic adding to the lovely special atmosphere.

    The food started off on a good note and went downhill from there. We were disappointed with the presentation of the food and the taste was not to our liking. The service was not what I would expect on such a restaurant. We arrived and there were glass pieces on the table cloth. The presentation of the food was not much to write home about and it was even very difficult to understand one of the waiters. It also felt like they were just bringing out the food and that was it. The dish with "beef" was not to our liking at all and taste and texture was not good at all. Would not recommend this to anyone with the quality compared to price.

    Every single dish was a discovery trip. Texture, taste, presentation, loved the whole approach - at last, vegan gastronomy - Pari réussi ! The team is amazing, clearly they are recruiting well, all of the staff has a smile and kind word to share. We very much enjoyed out evening and had a good laugh with the lady serving our table. I’ll come back with my meat-eater husband !!

    This was a really special gift for my birthday & did not disappoint, vegan fine dining is very rare & this was perfect. The food was of course the main event - we had the Petit Diner menu with wine pairing, which was a perfect amount for us. The food was creative, innovative, chic, delicious, service was attentive but not intrusive, great location, perfect for groups or romantic dinners.
