   Goose foot is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Nina, the owner is very nice and welcoming, while at the same time extremely professional. The food is amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

   What a lovely restaurant. Beautifully presented, delicious food. The plating is especially striking. Nina, the owner, was lovely, and made you feel like you eating at her home. A very special experience that I would highly recommend.

   It was a perfect evening. The food was impeccable in flavor, timing, and presentation. The staff was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was intimate, romantic, and playful. My only wish is that some of the dishes were a bit hotter when they were served. It’s expensive but I would definitely come back.

    My wife and I had a very positive experience at Goosefoot. The food was interesting and complex - really impressive given the size of the team. Also, the BYOB concept was a refreshing change to the typical wine pairings you see at the restaurant price point. While the core of each dish was delicious and the plating was beautiful, often times the entire dish didn’t seem to work together. Edible garnishes didn’t add anything to the meal, and different components of most dishes were at different temperatures when they arrived at the table. I’m very impressed by this restaurant, but it’s clear after eating there that this is an ambitious effort from a very small team. I applaud them for what they’ve accomplished, but would head elsewhere for a more refined and exciting experience.

    We went for Valentines Day. I wasn’t sure what to expect but if I was, our visit would have exceeded my expectations. We were greeted and seated right away. The theme was “ Woodstock 69” which added a cool ambiance with familiar songs playing in the background. Everything was delicious. The design of the food was as impressive as the taste. Thanks for making our holiday special.

    Wonderful small place that is owned and run by a husband/wife Team. I love that the owners were present and serving us. You can tell that they take pride in their restaurant. The food was fantastic! Wine options are available but there are no cocktails, which threw us for a loop. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend Goosefoot to anyone enjoys fine dining.

    What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve. Each course was a piece of art and the service is exceptional. Nina and Chris are a gem in Lincoln square and treasure in Chicago.

    It was a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary and Nina especially is friendly and personable. You can tell she and Chris really care about the diner's experience! I loved the Woodstock theme and it truly felt like every course told its own beautiful story. I will say one extremely unfortunate mishap was that the first course had a very tasty corn soup that literally burnt our tongues, it was piping hot to the point that my husband instinctually spit it back out into the cup. When the first course came out, we actually both had to use the restroom so we even let it sit for ~3mins before eating it and it was still burning hot so I'm concerned that it would've been even hotter if we hadn't let it sit for a few mins! This would've been unfortunate at any point in our dinner but the first course burning our tongues was tough because it was obviously harder to taste the rest of the food.

    Can't recommend more. Fine dining that pays attention to taste of dishes rather than the entire experience. Rather than experimental dishes, the quality of each course is phenomenal. Highly recommend if you can make a reservation.

    My wife and I celebrated my 40th birthday here. Really excited that we did. The service was top-notch. Lots of attention to the table setting, ambience and Covid protocols. The food was delicious with plenty of little surprises - great combination of flavors and textures. The wine available from their store was very affordable and tasty. Nina and Chris provided a memorable experience.

    What a lovely and memorable experience we had a Goosefoot. Yes, it is expensive but, it was worth every penny we paid. The service, the presentation, the absolutely delicious meal was simply divine. Creative, non-pretentious, unique and over-the-top all rolled into one. We will definitely be seeking reservations again, albeit for a special occasion.
