Service was excellent, our server Kelly was attentive but not intrusive.
Feel bread or rolls should have been provided with prime rib dinner and also a salad or soup.

Overall had a very nice time. Was our family Christmas Eve dinner that we annually hold but normally in downtown chicago. Since Illinois is closed down we decided to head to the grand Geneva. Service was outstanding, food was good, a bit pricey but was a special occasion. We will go back again to try out the chophouse.

Service very good, practiced covid precautions well. Only thing was the water tasted very metallic or either too much chlorine. Otherwise, highly recommend

Steak and brussel sprouts were to die for! My husband had chicken which was also delicious.

Very enjoyable meal. The food was excellent and we had great service. The environment was quiet so it was easy to have a conversation.

One of the best fish fries around! Service was awesome and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely recommend the Grand Cafe to anyone visiting the Lake Geneva area.

Nice atmosphere and impeccable service. Food was delicious and very tasty.

Our dinner was nice. The food was very good. Only bad thing was we were seated right behind the bar in the restaurant. Some of the bar guests were using inappropriate language with our 10 year seated at our table.

Great service and atmosphere. The food was OUTSTANDING. Will definitely dine here again.

Saturday prime rib was outstanding along with the Brussel sprouts!

We had not been to the Cafe for about 10 years. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything was excellent! We had the ribs and split a side salad (plenty big for 2). Everything was well prepared, hot, and delicious. Our wait staff was very attentive. All in all, this was a good choice for a Saturday evening dinner. We live in Lake Geneva and will be back.

Few options for Gluten Free food . . not even the steak was a GF option, making me think they sous vide foods . . . they did some subs for my order and the garlic pototo was very runny. Asparagus was charred but tasty. Salmon was perfect.

Nice service

Love the kale salad! We had it twice during our stay. We also had the burger and BLT. Both were delicious! Dessert. Cheesecake was so good that we had that twice. Carrot cake was very good. Breakfast was very nice. Everything was delicious!!!

I come to the Grand Cafe specifically for the Seafood and Prime Rib Buffet on Friday and Saturday evenings. Even when I am not staying in residence, I specifically drive to the Grand Geneva for this. I was incredibly disappointed to find that the buffet has been discontinued. Although the staff was outstanding and service was superb and the staff was most apologetic that the buffet was canceled, I was disappointed. While I completely understand the Covid scare, I sincerely hope that this dining event will return. Personally, I believe it to be a very bad business decision to eliminate this dining experience. Although the food was still good, it can not hold a candle to the buffet.

Drinks and food were excellent!

My wife and I cam here for her 60th birthday. What an enormous disappointment. Prime Rib and Seafood buffet. Very, very poor. The prime rib was okay, overseasoned, but okay. The rest of the buffet was just terrible. The other dishes, were some salad offerings. Peel and eat shrimp were mushy. Frozen, thawed, frozen, thawed. Nothing special. There was some sort of Cod which looked bad, and a seafood pasta, that had no seafood in it, a chicken dish that looked bad, steamed green beans and mashed potatoes. That was your buffet. The waiter, who was very efficient and friendly, said that the crab was made to order in the kitchen. We each ordered a portion. Ever heard of King snow crab or queen crab. This was young prince crab. So small, that you probably had to eat 15 pounds of the stuff to get 1 pound of meat. Ridiculous and very disappointing. We would never return for this CRAP!!!

The Grand Geneva was hosting a dance convention on this day so the place was really hopping and busy. This did not faze the dining or wait staff at all. Everything was smooth and efficient. Food was excellent. My server Lisa was superb. She knows whats what and juggles everything like a pro. Great place for great service.

Every restaurant at this resort is fabulous. The Cafe Grand is a great place for delicious breakfasts and the amazing buffet!

My family enjoyed the prime rib and seafood buffet, especially the snow crab! Dessert table was expansive. My kids liked the kids table as well as the adult selections. kaytie was a top notch server.

Had a great dinner and our server Lisa was great. She was informative, quick to get what we needed and very nice. Enjoyed our Valentine's dinner.

The food overall was very good, however the dessert table was a big disappointment. The service was fair. A couple of large tables were seated nearby which took much of our waitresses attention, leaving us waiting for drink refills and our check. Still, overall we enjoyed the meal and the Grand Geneva was beautifully decorated.

I was once again most fortunate to have Lisa as my server. She is most knowledgeable and very good at her job. She recommended that I check out the various Christmas decorations in the hotel and conference rooms and she was quite right. Stunning!!

I am most impressed with the Grand Cafe dining experience and in particular Lisa. She is simply outstanding! The restaurant was packed as was the lobby. Some kind of big convention. Lisa kept her cool and handled herself well. I will definitely be back.

Crumbs on table. Cleaned myself. Buffet which comes with rolls. Had to ask for those. Had to ask them to bring out the soup bowls....this is not logistically a big buffet that make it hard for staff to know what to replenish. The soup is right next to the carver. Nothing to put the drawn bitter or soup in. Took little cup from roll butter to put drawn butter in. The regular food was fine for most people, but a little disappointing it seemed to be Cajun & hot spice night for the pasta dish and chicken both. I don’t eat the prime rib so that leaves the rest. The food I had was good.

Beautiful atmosphere. Much easier to get a reservation than the Chop House next door. Food and service are great.
