   The service was excellent. I loved the garlic mashed potatoes, however, my brussels sprouts were tough.  We chose to sit outside, and it was a great shady location. I highly recommend this area of seating as long as you do not mind the train that runs along the back of the restaurant. It never bothers me!

   Well-organized menu with good variety but not so many items as to cause decision paralysis. Excellent value, I thought. Excellent tuna-salad sandwich with twist, great French lentil soup.

   I had put in request for patio as I didn’t know patio would be closed on Mother’s Day. Beautiful day on Mother’s Day but stuck inside in the corner, dark and depressing. Buffet and every time we got up the sever took our silverware and we had to beg for more and drinks were slow. Server didn’t seem to want to be there. Normally I love grand view tavern because of the patio and ordering off the menu, buffet and no patio and bad service was a big disappointment on Mother’s Day with my family. I recommend grand view tavern on any other day that isn’t Buffett or closed patio

   I’m not one to complain BUT the all American burger didn’t have a runny egg, the Cobb salad wasn’t anything special -the chicken was like the kind you buy pre made from the grocery store, the drinks were as much as some of the meals AND the mac and cheese was a 3 out of 10 (if you like cheesy mac this just isn’t for you). The restaurant is cool and the service wasn’t bad (our server was very nice). Oh and the bathrooms don’t have a changing table which I found odd. Reservation was at 7 -we didn’t get out food until 8:30 and the restaurant wasn’t that crowded. We were celebrating Mothers Day and I just hated being so disappointed. I should note my Dad really enjoyed his meatloaf and the French fries were good.

    Atmosphere/music was wonderful, food was incredible , We had the chicken picante and burger locomotive all was so so good. The Baked brie was really wonderful as well. All in all a wonderful evening.

    Food was good but food delivery was slow. Waitress apologized. Not her fault. When food finally arrived, it was hot and delicious. Worth the wait. Surprised as it was a Sunday at 5:30pm and restaurant was not busy.

    Went here with family for dinner. They were fine with my kids. Kids were able to find food they liked including pizza. Food and drinks were good. There’s a wide selection on the dinner menu from burgers to pizza to salmon and steak. I liked that this restaurant had 3 separate dining areas. One is earn the bar and pub-like. The second is indoor dining and the third an outdoor patio. Definitely gave options for whatever you are in the mood for. Will probably be back at some point in the future.

    We have been here several times and the food is consistently good. Our server was very nice but had a poor understanding of meal timing for such an upscale restaurant. We had 3 couples one ordered and app the other 2 did not she put food in for one of the couples before taking other orders and their food was coming out when the remainder of the orders went in. I do not understand why she would do this the couples order she took was the last of Our group to arrive. Also my chicken said pan seared not breaded, well it’s a breaded dish which I did not want thankfully they were able to change it when I saw the dish at another table after I ordered. One of our favorite things about this place is they have live music with dinner on the weekends which we love and they have always left an area to dance for a few couples. The most annoying thing about the whole night was they put a table in the dance floor just why there was plenty of room to put it on other Side away from the dance floor. There lots of restaurants with good food in this price range few have dinner music and room to dance big reason we go there over others.

    We love Grandview Tavern. It feels like you just came down to a family pub but you had an exceptional meal with a nice beer and wine selection. We enjoy the music, food and the service.

    We were pleased that we were seated in the alcove, very quiet and private. Our server, Paige, was efficent and helpfull. The food was outstanding and everyone was happy with their entrees. Can't get any better than that!

    The food was excellent. My wife’s salmon was done to perfection, my bone in ribeye charred and seasoned just right. The only issue, was the slow service. Like most restaurants in the area, staffing is hard to come by. Our waitress was very pleasant and apologetic, she was covering too many tables.

    Good but not as good as I remembered. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Promptly seated at our reservation time but placed right next to two loud tables when there was plants other whiter options available.

    Waited over an hour for our pizza. When it came my wife's pizza wasn't as ordered. Server seemed very unconcerned about our long wait. Also unconcerned that the sausage and olives were left off of my wife's pizza. She told us they were out of olives--would have been nice to know at ordering. Also server didn't bring crushed red pepper until asked a second time. I went ahead and ate two slices before she came back. We have gone to this restaurant 4 or 5 times a month for several years and have never experienced this level of kitchen and server ambivalence. Too bad.

    Easter buffet was not a good value. Made reservation through Open table for 3pm and it showed later reservation times as well. Food was cold and picked over because they closed at 3pm. Why was there not a note about it being a buffet and only open until 3pm?

    We had never eaten at this restaurant before. We had a very nice experience. Our table was kind of out of the way which was nice. The food was very good. Our server was new but did a nice job. We would go there again.

    I’m afraid this dinner did not meet expectations. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, the pork chops were burnt, and we sat next to a very drafty door. I was disappointed because they have a great menu and location, but this just was a frustrating evening all the way around. There was no explanation and little apology around the situation, so I can’t say what the issue was specifically.
