Food was cold . And service was horrible . I think his name was Avery? He totally forgot about us
Great experience over all. We came for brunch. Enjoyed about 5 dishes together. My friend and I enjoyed our day!
Absolutely wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back! Ali and his staff couldn’t have been better!
Great service but medicore food. Tuna tartare was flavorless. The spiced chocolate mouse had no spice. Best part of dinner was the charcuterie plate and the service.
Wow...great experience...loved the menu...everyone was so helpful and professional.
Try for brunch...very inventive takes on "typical" dishes but with a surprising spin. And some offerings that are uniquely in keeping with Spanish cuisine. Didn't have the Bloody Mary... but oh my this is the place to have one on the weekend!
Service was horrible.. drinks took over an hour food was cold
I really want to enjoy coming here because I live close by.. but the past few times the service has been horrible. Everyone I was with said they weren't coming back. I dont necessarily think its the servers fault. We could see him running around so busy. I just think they need to have more servers working at a time to be able to accommodate the amount of people. Especially on the weekends.
Nice establishment, however, I felt like the food was not amazing compared to restaurants like Barcelona.
The food was good. It was the timing in bringing the food to the table. We ordered 5 different items, they brought everything at the same time and it got cold. The bottle of wine we ordered was not good, it had a strong vinegar aftertaste. The manager suggested another one and it was very good.
This was our second visit, which was encouraged by the GM, Ali. We went on, a non holiday, Sunday. We had reservations and was seated immediately. We had the best experience with service, food and drinks. Our eleven year old enjoyed the chicken and spicy waffle and our adult son enjoyed the chicken sausage skillet. Everything, including the seasonal fruit mimosa was delicious. Many people enjoyed the warm weather outside on their beautiful patio.
We will definitely return. Thank you Ali and Birol for you hospitality.
Date night with my wife and the restaurant was great! We were seated quickly and attended to swiftly. Great ambiance, fun atmosphere, relaxing overall feel! Definitely coming back soon.
This was ok. The food was good but way, way over priced. For instance - $13 for three scallops (for a table with four people). $20 for an "a la carte" cheese plate that came with two cheeses on a dessert sized plate - and three pieces of bread (again, four people at the table). I didn't think it was plated that well either - sloppy presentation for a meal that cost over $200.
Ambiance was nice but dark, could barely read the menu. They forgot one of our orders (we ordered eight tapas and again, paid over $200, so getting brussels sprouts ten minutes after we finished the rest of the meal wasn't ideal.
We left hungry, so I wasn't blown away. However, this is Bulkhead so my expectations were on par with what we got.
Great first time experience!! Will definitely go back!!
Always a great time. The food is always excellent and the staff is always courteous and helpful.
Bday dinn r
Seated for reservation 30 minutes after check in.
Good, very slow service and food delivery to table. Very loud but great food and fun. Did not check me in properly so I did not get my open table points.
Good was good, but service was terrible. We did not have a consistent server, took forever to get 4 tapas and playing was poor when they arrived to the table. For the price, this was not worth the money which is a shame because it’s a really neat venue.
We waiting over a hour to get seated then an hour to get food. Didn’t notify me that they were out of what I ordered until 40 mins of waiting
Didn’t get seated for an hour and food is terrible
Horrible. They must be under new management. We've been several times in the past and it was decent. Went the weekend and literally left without finishing the two tapas we started with. Disgusting presentation and poorly cooked food. This is a place to go and "be seen"... Not a place for food lovers.
Food definitely not as good as it used to be. Also got much less amount of food than we used to. Kinda disappointed. Service was okay!
We had a great time at Gypsy kitchen Monday. We had a half day at work and decided to go out for a late lunch plus some cocktails. Service and the ambiance were great as usual!
Service and atmosphere were very good but the food was tasteless and very averaged, seems like it was a different menus for Valentines . It’s a good place to enjoy gathering and grabbing a drink but my wife and I were very dissatisfied with the food to say the least. We ordered the carpaccio, mushrooms and ribeye steak which did workers the $120 we paid.
One of the WORST dining experiences that I have EVER had. Horrible! We arrived at 750 for an 8pm reservation. They had a mob at the front door. We were told by a VERY unfriendly hostess that it would be 30 minutes before they could seat us. We went to the bar and waited, no one called us to come to the table within the 30 minutes so I approached the front to ask. There were two hostesses, one was totally inept and the other oblivious. When I insisted that I wanted to speak to a manger the one gave me a dead stare. When I stared back she finally told me that it would be another 20 minutes. We waited at that point I came back to the front and asked again. A manager overheard and promptly sat us. It was valentines day so there was a VERY limited menu (which they DID NOT let us know about). We ordered the carpaccio. I thought I would die. It came out HOT. We sent it back paid the bill and left. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Horrible service from the hostess in a bad mood to the waiters that don’t focus on clients...they accept reservations you get there 15 minutes before and finally get a table 45 minutes later, meanwhile they are still accepting reservations...portions are pretty small and salty price...Not recommended!
It took over an hour to receive a cheese plate appetizer.
Terrible all around
I live in town and Gypsey Kitchen is my favorite place to dine! Weekends, Weekdays, Birthdays, Anytime! I have never had a less than 100%+++ experience here. Ali one of the managers is the best manager I have encountered dining in Atlanta! (I have lived in town for close to 30 years and know just about every restaurant within a 5 mile radius of North and South Peachtree Rd... not boasting...just saying) :)
Ali is attentive, engaging and actually rolls up his sleeves and knows when a server is in need of assistance and even guests. Talk about "at your service'. Also a wine extrordinaire - always up for a great reccomemdation and he's your guy. The food is delicious and I have not had anything I didn't like from the menu. Be sure to try the stuffed dates and octupus if you are the adventurous type. I have done a few business group dinners here as well and the team really knows how to provide exceptional service all while making it look effortless - which I am certain it is not. I have brought new friends here in the past few weeks and everyone loves it and is sure to think of Gypsey Kitchen when making plans for a fun filled outing. Thank you team Gypsey Kitchen! Well done! Keep moving! :)
Had reservations and never got seated. Ended up at the bar for dinner. Poor customer service by host also. Food and drinks were great though
We had reservations at 9:30 and upon arrival it was clear the restaurant was way overbooked and an extra busy Friday night. We were seated at 10:20 and knew what we wanted as we had already reviewed the menu due to our time waiting. We ordered immediately when the server finally came to our table at approximately 10:30. Our appetizer arrived about 11:15 and was just okay. I went to the restroom about 11:25 and had to dry my hands on my shirt, I was done. Our dinner still had not arrived by 11:30 (2 hours after our reservation) and we spoke to the manager about the situation and left the restaurant, very dissatisfied considering the hype.
Amazing food and great service. Super packed because of Valentine’s Day but overall had a great time!
Gypsy Kitchen was very delightful this past Valentine’s Day. While very busy, as expected, our service was superb. Our server, Madelina, was excellent and very apologetic for our wait time, which wasn’t her fault at all. The GM, Ali, was also very professional and wanted to ensure our dining experience went off without a hitch. Thank you so much Gypsy Kitchen!
Gypsy Kitchen was definitely overbooked for Valentine’s Day. Customers were waiting over an hour for their reservations. Service was slow after tables were found, but the servers were all lovely and apologized profusely. Great food
It was great but very overbooked for Valentine’s Day. And they ran out of a few tapas
Once we were finally seated, 1.5 hours past reservation time, we enjoyed the food and drinks. Since it was on V-Day, it was super crowded and many people were complaining about their wait. I received the text at 8:14 letting know my table was ready. I managed to work my way through the large crowd and got to the hostess desk @ 8:19, just to be told my table had been given up. Horrible service this night and completely unorganized and unprepared for the occasion.
The food was absolutely delicious, services was as perfect. Even our 11year old enjoyed the food.
But what I am noticing is that even if you have a reservation on a holiday you will still wait for over an hour. Not sure why restaurants are taking reservations on holidays when they don’t honor them.
The table hostess table was completely backed up. We waited for nearly an hour after our scheduled reservation time and did not get seated until I personally went up and complained.
