   Put us at a table right at the kitchen entrance with several other same size tables visibly open. I asked to sit somewhere else and they would not accommodate. Too bad. We left. Have never done that before.

   Unfortunately not a great experience. 3 guests and we all ordered salads and steaks. No checking on us and steaks brought before salads were done. 2 steaks severely undercooked and one sent back for re-fire. It’s a decent spot, but would like more focused service and better control of quality.

    Surprised that there was no acknowledgement by the restaurant that my date and I were both celebrating our birthday. No roast, no cupcake, no nothing. How many parties of two go there on their mutual birthday? No big deal. Food was average, fully priced. Disappointing.

    We came over from Cincinnati just to have dinner at Harry and Izzy’s- it was wonderful- meal was phenomenal. We asked for Brad as he had waited on us last September. Luckily he was available and was absolutely wonderful just like last time. Thank you for a very memorable experience!

    We had a semi formal event and still needed a good meal. I chose Harry and Izzy’s on the fly, se we we’re definitely overdressed. Stephanie our waitress was phenomenal down to the last minute. She hit everything from attention, resolution (we tasted something we didn’t like), to upselling desert and coffee. The food was ehhh. Or at least mine was. My husband and daughter thoroughly enjoyed theirs. I got the chicken avo kale sandwich. My toast was over toasted to dry and hard. BUT I was so tired I didn’t send it back. I did inform her to tell the kitchen. She is a natural and very sweet.

    Our server, Morgan, was great, she put up with our shenanigans well and with quick wit. The server support folks were much improved compared to last time in (2 days prior).

    Reservation was at 6:45 pm… took 10-12 mins to get greeted and didn’t get our first drinks until 7:15pm…. We had already finished our complimentary bread and still didn’t have drinks. 7:15 waitress drops off drinks and says she’ll be back immediately to take our orders… was at least another 15mins. Food was good, but was disappointed in the level of service at attention to our table. We spent way too much time waiting to be greeted and ordering drinks and entrees.

    Sad to say, another one bites the dust. Great service, but the kitchen must still be on Covid leave. While some of our group had good reviews for the pasta dishes, not so much on the steaks. My "medium" was raw in the center, not pink. Billed as an 8oz. filet, it was the 6 oz. they serve at lunch. Given the poor rendition, that was a blessing. And when they bill "steak fries" as the side, don't get your hopes up. They are the same skinny fries you could get at McDonalds (if you are so inclined). Drinks from the bar were excellent, everyone agreed. And, as is true with all the so called steak houses, be prepared to pay through the nose for the beef. Finally, the place started to fill up and they circled our table until we got the hint, at 6:45 PM, to clear out. All in all, a sad come down from previous visits.

    The food was just okay the pork chop was kind of bland and the roasted Potatoes was not cooked all the way through manager didn’t come over and acknowledge the uncooked potatoes not what I would have expected from a Harry&Izzy restaurant Over food was not that good

    Been here twice. I do recommend sitting on the balcony if you prefer quietness. The Brownie is amazing!! Can’t really criticize the food yet I only had a great steak and fries. Overall a really good place to eat. Especially for those special occasions.

    We love Harry & Izzy’s, but this was our first Sunday night dinner there. Service was not as attentive as it normally is. Everyone seemed very tired. We had to ask for everything. We were brought soup with no spoon, water carafe refills had to be requested each time, no questions about if we needed anything else. Alex was our waiter and he was courteous, but just felt service could have been better. He didn’t seem to have enough support help. The person who said she was responsible for assisting came only a few times to our table. We were there to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday and told the hostess when we were seated because she asked. No one else ever asked or said anything about it. I told our waiter after we asked for coffee that our son was celebrating his 21st birthday and I’d like to order a piece of peanut butter pie. He brought it with a candle (not lit) and said he didn’t like candles. That’s fine, but it would have been better to just not put a candle on there than to bring an unlit candle! We reserve Harry & Izzy’s for special dinners and this dinner just didn’t feel special.

    Great service! Romaine Hearts salad never disappoints. Ribeye and fries were great. A friend had the strip Izzy style and we both decided it’s not for us. The strip under the sauce was great!

    Staff was extremely careful about my gluten allergy and I had no concerns. The food ordered cane out perfect, and worth every penny. Staff even made a birthday card for my boyfriend. We will be back!

    Traveled in from Boston to see a long time work friend who I hadn’t seen in 3years… everything we had was just amazing. The staff let us slow walk our early dinner, just enjoying everything. The Bourbon Chocolate Bread Pudding was to die for!! Enough for 2-3!!

    I am not usually a steak eater but did order fillet mignonette. It was awesome! Very tender and great flavor. Also ordered lobster Mac and cheese. Also very good. Service was excellent.server came several times and took good care of us. We were celebrating 42 years of marriage and was a wonderful anniversary. Would certainly go there again .

    Everything was amazing. The final bill was a bit alarming but we did order an appetizer, main dish and 3 desserts. No regrets though. The upstairs area was just a little to hot for me.
