Harvest at The Hotel Hershey
Smoked Groff's Baby Back Ribs
Chocolate BBQ sauce, French fries, house-made coleslaw
Great food; good variety; A bit pricey
Tasty beautifully presented meal with great service.
Our server was a wonderful young lady who really paid a lot of attention to our autistic grandson. He had such a nice evening as did we . The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented . I hope we can return in the near future .
Enjoyable evening with attractively played entrees; great service from Ismael who was very professional and attentive in serving us! He certainly added to the enjoyment of our evening.
Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Our server was outstanding! The salmon and ribs were dry.
Private dining room was lovely
The heirloom tomato crostata was unbelievably tasty with homemade pastry and the most delectable tomatoes. The burger was perfectly rare, as requested (thanks so much!) and the bartender was attentive and kind. What a lovely place to eat and relax with superb staff front and back of house.
Great food and service. Very nice start to our vacation in Hershey. We have been here 3 orn4 times and it's always good.
Food was good, brisket great. The waitress forgot the fries and the utensils. And there was no ham in our pretzel plate.
Lunch for our anniversary of 39 years. Someone knew because we were served chocolate covered strawberries on the house.
It was a great experience. I will definitely come back again.
Amazing experience for our anniversary dinner. Will recommend to everyone I know who decides to travel to Hershey. Staff were incredibly kind and checked on us frequently. The place is absolutely beautiful and highly recommend walking through the gardens behind the hotel after your meal.
Excellent food, great service and a fun place
Boiled ribs? Really? Ask for mustard and I get mustard packets with dark brown crap in them? This is suppose to be farm to table? There is no plastic packaged mustard on the table. Way over priced for what you get plus the hostess was snooty. Skip next time .
Experience was just okay. We had a party that came in after us get seated before us, even though their reservation was for the same time, just because they were being pushy. That is not good management in my opinion. Food was good, but not stellar and a bit pricey for what you get. The bread service was $12 and it was good, but the portions were small considering it was $12 for bread, butter, and jam. Service was just okay. Our waitress disappeared for 15 minutes, forgetting to bring us drink refills in the middle of eating. I finally had to ask someone else to help us and when our waitress finally came back, there was just an excuse and no apology. Management needs to do a better job of training the staff. Someone told us this was the best restaurant in Hershey, but our experience did not live up to that expectation.
Great service and meal at Harvest. Our server was wonderful, kind, and attentive. Food was delicious. The cheesecake was to die for.
The meats were delicious; the soups were thin, the water tasted wrong!!! Too much ice in the drinks and the desserts were a disappointment.
Best meal we have had in a while
The atmosphere was nice, however our party of African Americans and another was set all the way to the back and in the corner. We were also seated before a occasion family and they had there order taken and received before us. If there was a bias
Our service was good and the food we ate was also good. The experience wasn’t 5 star because the food we received didn’t match what was described on the menu. I ordered crab cakes and they were delicious. But the sides, described as apple slaw and matchstick potatoes, were not. The potatoes were tiny, smaller than the typical shoestring potatoes and there were about 10 of them. At first I didn’t see them since they were on top of the slaw. The slaw had only 2-3 pieces of apple; it was a very ordinary coleslaw and I’m not a coleslaw fan. My husband’s “bowl” listed a number of ingredients including farro, peas, dried cherries. He had to hunt for those items as most of the bowl was lettuce, not like veggie & grain bowls he usually gets. It seemed like a bait-and-switch, what you thought you were getting was not what was delivered.
First, I never write comments so this experience was especially poor. The restaurant and service did not provide the level expected service and food quality. Timing of courses was missed, food was over cooked and waitress failed to properly manage the evening. After multiple comments to the waitress we were not approached by management on our issues. For the money , I do not recommend this restaurant.
Service was very slow and food was average to below average
I received a birthday coupon for a free entree. We only received $15 off a $40 entree because the most each person paid was $15. The children’s entree was $14 which for a child’s meal was ridiculous. Our bill was $120. I won’t be returning, even if I get a free birthday entree which wasn’t near free.
Everything was good! I was very impressed that the kitchen accommodated my sons request for a grilled cheese when it was not in the children’s menu. The food was all good and our server was great!
We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our meal at Harvest. Our waitress was wonderful from start to finish and the food was beyond enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful food, beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend it.
Wonderful atmosphere and window table; beyond attentive and thoughtful service and staff; fresh and flavorful choices, particularly enjoyed the strawberry salad and lemon meringue pie; looking forward to dining at Harvest again!
Disappointing. Food was good but organization lacked. Not what o expected for a reset restaurant. Despite the wine menu I was told they only had 1 red wine by the bottle available. Ultimately I was able to choose a different one but just strange. How does a high end resort restaurant not have a selection of wine. Also the server didn’t clear the appetizer plates before bringing entree’s. Paid full resort prices but did not get what you would expect.
We went to Harvest for our anniversary. The food was well prepared. Our server was attentive but not hovering. We had an enjoyable relaxed dinner.
Great servers. Very friendly. A little noisy. Like that the menu is changed year to year. For returning guests that is great
Waitress was excellent! Too much sauce on the BBQ platter for 2
A tour-de-force in consistent mediocrity and service devoid of life. From the flustered host stand, to the slow and odd-paced service to the soulless and uninspired menu, each year we spend several nights at The Hotel Hershey, and each time we hope the culinary management team would have finally put “Harvest” out commission. Hotel Hershey: you know you can do better then “Harvest” — it’s time to step up.
We had a very enjoyable visit. Appetizers, dinner and dessert were wonderful and our server Tamie was absolutely amazing!!!
We had a fantastic meal and great service!
Lunch with friends including a young child. Staff took care of us very well.
Great food but not great service. Had reservations for a table at 8. Arrived 10 minutes early and all 3 hostesses were baffled and flustered. They sat another party ahead of me, who just arrived. After 10 minutes, someone decided to seat me and ushered me to the bar. What? I reserved a table. Kids at the bar was really weird!
Food and table service was excellent. Bit of a wait to get seated ( no host/hostess).
The ambience and solid service cannot make up for the lack luster menu. The signature fish and chips was oversold by the server (her only mistake). The fish was entirely under seasoned. The crab cakes were over priced for the quality. It was disappointing to have such an underwhelming meal at such a nice place.
The food and portions were good but the macaroni and cheese were served cold.
