Visited heritage for a birthday. It was good, nothing to really brag about. One of us got the heritage burger and she really enjoyed it. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good also. I had the sea bass and the fish itself was a small portion but good. The grilled lettuce assortment that it was served with was ok.. some of the lettuce was actually a bit bitter and not great but the other vegetables were good. We liked the jazz band! Before the band started, the music playing was a bit too loud though. Overall, just okay and a little too expensive.
Good food but even better service. Our server, Michael, was amazing!
Great for Sunday Brunch!
Great atmosphere and food. Totally took a shot in the dark with the reservation but they knocked it outta the park.
The bluegrass band was great yet it wasn't too noisy in the building. We were able to hold a normal conversation and still enjoy the live music. The food was very good and the cocktails were great. A fun atmosphere for brunch!
The food was great and the live music created such a great atmosphere. Perfect for a date.
Our second visit and our food was good, however we invited friends who was disappointed with her food. I will go again- nice place... sticking with the pub fare foods though.
We really enjoyed the ambiance at Heritage - from the plant covered shelves and shiplap walls to the nightly music, it was wonderful. Their drink selection was great too! I have Celiacs so it was a little tough to find something to eat but they were open to modifying items for me. The food I did end up with was very tasty!
Only two real problems with the experience
- it’s the middle of the winter and they decided space heaters were enough to heat an entire warehouse. They aren’t enough
- service was as slow as it could be before becoming a legitimate in restaurant complaint. This isn’t the servers’ fault, they were fine. There was only one server for entire restaurant and this is entirely on ownership/management
Overall cool ambiance and love the live music but the management issues will keep me from going back for some time
It was Valentines, between 8:30-9pm and the restaurant was less than half full. The live music was average at best and the food was hit and miss, some dishes we really liked and some were some odd combinations that didn’t work. Our serve was aloof and drifted in and out of being attentive. The layout makes it fee kind of like a beer hall rather than a date night spot which is probably why it was so empty for Valentines. Great beer selection.
Heritage is a pleasant space. We enjoyed the music and the atmosphere, as well as the beer. The food was less than spectacular for our brunch date. A bit bland and everything needed salt.
The live music was a great addition. The food was nothing special. I ordered the steak it was way over cooked. The sauce tasted like something out of a jar. It was way overpriced for the quality of the meal.
My husband and I went for a double date. The restaurant itself was awesome with a neat ambiance and blues band playing on stage. The drinks were very flavorful and not unbearably strong. The food though had a little too much salt for my liking. If there wasn't as much salt i would've enjoyed my food a lot more. The service was very good as our waitress checked up on us regularly and ensured our water glasses were always filled.
Great menu and entertainment! Always some sort of live music playing! Drinks are on point and so is service! Great neighborhood go to.
Service was excellent. Food and drinks were good. The music was also very good.
the decor and ambiance is so lovely here. there was a band sort of jamming that made our experience so nice. The singer's voice was lovely and the instruments were divine.
We had wild boar meatballs which were very tasty and curried chicken sausage which was also very very good.
For entrees, we had a burger (delicious), a roasted chicken (juicy and cooked beautifully) and a Caesar salad which was so salty and overdressed it was borderline inedible.
The service was good, despite there being some very large parties present, with tasty and well made non-alcoholic drink options.
Food as always was excellent, same for the service. Great band paying
That’s for a terrific brunch & blue grass!!
Great food, live music, excellent service. Made reservations but didn’t need them as we went early
We had an anniversary dinner here recently! So pretty and our server Will was so kind! Wonderful staff and beautiful place. Thanks Will for making our night so easy.
Great food and drinks. While we were there we enjoyed live music from two different jazz combos. Fantastic fun!
We had an outstanding time at Heritage! The food and the service were both superb
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Really nice evening.
Amazing place! Went on a Monday and had a great time while the performers were there. They interacted with us and gave us a great experience. The food was amazing, we had the chicken and the crab cake sandwich for dinner and it was the best I’ve ever had. I work at a fine dining Italian restaurant so it takes a lot for me to really enjoy the food when I go out and I was NOT disappointed. Definitely will be back!
I was in town for a brief visit and dined there with my sister. Mike was an excellent waiter, the food was very good and the Gypsy Jazz was so much fun. I will definitely be back!
Excellent environment, food menu is limited but will be back for the music if nothing else.
Great food and a really cool atmosphere. Live music was a little loud, but still awesome!!
While the music always lands a little too loud on lighter nights (oh no, am I getting old?) Heritage is always a perfect date night with incredible food.
Seating was looking away from show , all tables turned to center of room not stage. The steak that was 48.00 was the toughest steak I ever had, not worth 5.00.
Felt like you were being rushed out for others to sit. Overall was the worst dinner out that we ever experienced!!!
The restaurant was beautiful but the meals (specifically the sides) were expensive. For pancakes / French toast it was $12, not including bacon, sausage, etc. (which each costed $5 to add on) but you could get a breakfast sampler for $12 that came with eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes. I wanted the French toast but why would I pay $17 when I could get the sampler?
Great food great music terrific anbience
Great service and good happy hour specials
I ordered the seitan skewers with udon noodles. The seitan was incredible. It was so perfect that I literally had to confirm with the waitress that it was not meat. To texture and flavor were incredible. I would’ve liked more veggies in the dish. The slippery noodles are hard to eat with a fork- I would suggest giving chopsticks.
My companion that the crispy chicken sandwich. He was excited bc it was made with thigh, rather than the typical breast meat. He felt that the piece of chicken was small and that the sandwich was swimming mayonnaise.
For dessert, we split the seasonal bread pudding. It wasn’t served warm enough to melt the ice cream on top, and I think there might have been one raisin in it or something. It had a good flavor, but was supposed to have seasonal fruit.
The happy hour menu offered good deals on drinks. And the live music all the time is a really nice touch. The Decor and ambiance are very nice.
Food was bland, service was great, ambiance was great. I would recommend only going for drinks
The food and service was great. They had a band playing which was nice for brunch. There was a $3.00 “optional” music fee on the bill which is not really optional since just added as another tax.
Awesome fun. Great food and music
Bluegrass Sunday brunch was a delight! A unique establishment in Philadelphia. Shrimp and grits tasted like it was prepared in Louisiana. My spouses biscuits and gravy were a hit as well. Looking forward to a return visit.
Char, duck breast, gnocchi were all good. The beef rib special was nice, but heavy yet served with a creamed chard. Double heavy. Pickle plate was very good and generous.
Love heritage! Everything is amazing- drinks, food, atmosphere.
