Great tented area, fabulously warm heaters, excellent food and service :)

It was me and my girlfriend’s first time at Ho-Ho-Kus Inn, the place is awesome! Amazing ambience and exceptional food with courteous service! They even surprised my girlfriend with a complimentary cheesecake since it was her birthday!. Amazing stuff HHK Inn staff and management! Keep up the great work!

Great place for a fantastic meal

I ordered salmon over risotto. The restaurant should be ashamed of the size of the salmon that was served. It was a little square. I should have sent it back. To charge $31 for that entrée is outrageous!

Always like this place but today they did not meet my expectations. Ordered a wine bottle which took 10 minutes to come (place was empty so no excuse)and when it arrive it was not what I ordered. The waiter never asked if this was what I ordered. I had to stop him from opening this wrong bottle. Then another 5 minutes to be told they were out of the one I wanted. Meanwhile noone took our order. Finally ordered and when our 2 prosciutto sandwiches arrive they each literally had ONE slice of prosciutto in each and they charged $17 for each. Very sad

They did a great job with their outdoor dining during this pandemic. I thank them for offering this option

We sat outside under the tent due to covid and were very comfortable with the heaters. Food and service were very good.

The kitchen was easily out of five different things that we asked for. I thought horrible for the waitress who had to keep coming back and telling us that they were out of the next thing and the next thing. I ordered the seafood risotto it was just risotto with shrimp. I was very disappointed. I usually really enjoy the hohokus in and it’s considered a finer place to go. This was not a good experience. Manager did comp our drinks though. I appreciated that.

We enjoyed a relaxing lunch in the library.

I ordered Eggs Benny, which I thought was a version of eggs Benedict. First, the presentation was awful; next the poached eggs were over cooked and served in the most unappealing shape. The biscuit tasted as if it were made last month or last year. The Taylor’s ham so small, it looked as though it might have been a left over from another meal. The so-called sauce was somewhat less than warm and had no taste at all.

I used to frequent the Inn many year ago with my family. I have many, many fond memories. In good consciousness, I could NEVER recommend this place now.

We always go to Ho Ho Kus Inn for Christmas Eve and despite the challenges of 2020 we had a great experience!

Our meals were excellent and it was a holiday Christmas Eve. I lived bring in the Chateau room
2 of us had the cod and 2 had the steak

We dined in the heated outdoor tent. The space heaters kept us comfortable. The wait staff couldn’t have been more attentive. We had drinks, entrée, coffee and dessert for Christmas Eve. All in all, a lovely experience.

Came here for brunch with friends. Food was delicious, cocktails were the standard and some inventive (delicious) ones. Always great food and good service :)

Food and service was fantastic. The extra COVID protections that the restaurant took and invested in was greatly appreciated.

We had a good meal on Sat night at the HHI which we love. The waitress and staff were very helpful in trying to meet our needs. We didn't appreciate the Hostess (long dark hair) telling us the the "chef is too busy with a party inside to be cooking up different sauces" when we asked if an order could be tweaked. Kind of a rude vibe. We will definitely come back bec she was an exception to the rule at the Inn. Thanks!

We are outside and felt extremely safe. We were very comfortable with the heat lamps. Service and food was delicious. We will definitely return

Thank you for a very nice Sunday afternoon. We know things are "odd" right now in your industry and we just wanted to say an extra thank you for making us feel safe and comfortable.

Waitress was overwhelmed on a Sat night with many tables and little help. Manager walks around once in awhile but doesn’t come to tables or talk to anyone. Second drink was never delivered and took a long time for check to get handled. I blame the lack of staff working that night and blame the manager directly. Food is good and thats not the issue.

It was very good food but our service was poor. It was Saturday night and they had one waitress for the whole tent outside.

Eating outdoors is always an adventure. Few restaurants have it warm enough and maintaining circulating air in the time of Covid19. HoHoKus Inn does so very well.
My only criticism is the limited menu.

The Ho Ho Kus inn is a great place to come for dinner! They have all the COVID protocols in place with a great outdoor space! They just added some more heaters soo even on a cold night, it is very comfortable! The food is great and the staff always awesome!

Excellent food in a safe outdoor environment.

Food was great as always, but service was extremely slow, and it was not crowded at all. My husband waited almost 20 minutes to get the drink that he ordered, and overall everything just took a really long time.

Service was okay, not the friendliest of staff but overall a great place! Food is great and reasonably priced. Beautiful space and very covid safe.

Came her for dinner and sat in a very nice corner of the room with the smaller bar. Waiter was great, food and drinks were great. Overall very pleased with experience.

The salad with salmon on it was delicious for lunch. The service and clean safe environment made us feel comfortable.
