We sat out on the balcony because we feel more comfortable dining outside due to the virus. It was great atmosphere and service was fantastic.
Nothing like we had hoped for. Largely disappointing. SalD was tasteless. Service was unfriendly.
We were very much looking forward to dining at Husk, but the service was horrible. The waitress did not put any effort into ensuring that we had an enjoyable dining experience. Two of the menu items we ordered had sold out she made no suggestions of what would be a good substitute. My boyfriend ended up ordering the chicken dish thinking it would be the fried chicken dish that was served to the neighboring table to us. Instead it was a grilled chicken dish with pasta and veggies. Not really his type of dish unfortunately. We rarely saw the waitress and when we did she was very monotone and just seemed uninterested. Needless to say we were very disappointed since the previous experience at Husk was amazing. ☹️
The food and service was incredible!
Outstanding Food - the menu was so interesting with combinations that all worked brilliantly.
Exceptional Cocktails - the peach margarita on the rocks!!
Thoughtful service - personable and efficient
We loved this wonderful gem and will fondly remember this night in Charleston.
Just very unimpressed. Sat us in the courtyard, not very nice ambience. Menu was nothing to rave about
The service was excellent, and the food was exceptional. We have eaten at Husk before, and love the bar. While the bar was less accessible than before due to Covid, our meal was the best yet. The charcuterie plate was delicious, and the catfish was amazing.
We’ve been visiting family in Charleston for 5 years and this was our first visit to Husk. What a treat! Last minute decision and were able to get a reservation. We liked it all - cornbread, pork lettuce wraps, shrimp and grits, pork entree, and blueberry shortcake. Nice but bit pricey wines. Both the hostess and our server Nick were very friendly and professional. I admit that I was a bit nervous about dining out in S.C. because of Covid and because mask wearing wasn’t implemented as soon here as other states. However, it was perfectly fine at Husk. We were greeted outside and then shown directly to our table. Tables were placed a good distance from one another and all cleaning and safety precautions were being used. Thank you for a very nice evening, Husk!
Waiter aloof an
The old house and Charm is outstanding the waiter was good but hard to understand with his make so not his fault. The food was good but not very many choices and very expensive for the quantity. The hostess was a bit rude but i think she was having a bad day. I sat and wondered if times where different if the experience would’ve been better.
The catfish and lettuce wraps were outstanding. The glass of wine was a good pour, but pricey.
Delicious food and amazing service!
It’s now on our top 10 list of restaurants that we have eaten at around the world!
We were really impressed with Husk. The food, ambiance and service were sublime. A menu that changes daily is difficult to execute, but Husk did it without skipping a beat.
Wonderful and we had ridiculously high expectations!!!
Food was fantastic. Staff were knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make it a memorable dinner. Will continue to eat at Husk whenever we come to town.
The most perfectly cooked duck I have EVER had. Phenomenal experience there.
Great food with flavors never experienced before. Waitress was extremely helpful choosing some dished that made us feel like we made the right decisions.
Husk is our favorite restaurant in Charleston. We always have such a pleasant experience and the food is incredible. The staff goes out of their way to make the experience even more amazing. We are from Chicago and are sure to always go to husk whenever in Charleston.
Husk was amazing. We made reservations about a month and a half in advance. Food was amazing, portions were a good size. The menu says what state each protein is from. Gorgeous interior, great service in an old residential home. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful meal! Will come back next time we are in Charleston!
Great food and service. Love the historic charm. Definitely recommend and we will be back.
Don’t see what all the hype is about. Overpriced food and super small portions. Left hungry.
We are from Asheville NC. Second experience at Husk outstanding both times. A must experience restaurant for anyone!! Even w CDC regulations and protocol an exceptional experience.
The food was incredible! This is a must do in Charleston!
Wonderful food and love they change the menu daily!
Incredible in every way! You will not be disappointed as this place has lived up to an excellent reputation and it shows. Well done.
Food and service was good but certainly not up to the hype we had heard about the restaurant. Restaurant did a great job ensuring a responsible re-opening due to COVID-19 and we appreciated the safety measures in place for guests and staff.
Amazing food and classy atmosphere. The food is fresh with a menu that changes with the season and availability. Definitely worth the money and will return each time I’m in Charleston.
Fabulous meal. BBQ not falling off bone but great sauce. NC catfish great and also the duck leg cooked to perfection
Food was great, made reservations well ahead of time and had no problems on arrival.
Out of town guests...everyone got something different and everyone loved it!
Wasn’t as remarkable as my pervious visit. Food was average at best.
They are doing a great job with the social distancing!!!
Had the steak and chicken dishes and both were fantastic! Delicious old fashioned as well
Always perfection! I was particularly impressed by the staff and how they seamlessly managed the wearing of masks, cleaning and social distancing requirements as if it were normal. I had to be in Charleston for a family medical emergency and was nervous about dining out but all of my fears were allayed by the staff and patrons.
If you’re visiting Charleston, Husk must be on your list of places to go for dinner, brunch, or both. If you live in CHS and haven’t been, you’re missing out; go ASAP. If you’ve visited Charleston before but didn’t go, visit the city again and go to Husk. The building is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is exceptional and the food is off the charts. I had been 4-5 times between 2011 and 2014 but recently made it back in 2020. Better than ever. Our server was Tanya and she is amazing too.
Outstanding as always with husk. Frequent fliers of the Nashville location but thought we would try the original on vacation. They did not disappoint. Great location for a walk around Charleston
Very delicious. Our server was great and very polite. The restaurant was strictly following COVID-19 policies which we much appreciate. They had contactless payment options as well. We really enjoyed our stay!
Fantastic restaurant and meal. Loved the seasonality of the menu- I had shrimp and grits, my friend had the pork dish. Both were amazing. Tables were distanced, servers wore masks and signage was posted on each table that surfaces had been disinfected between guests.
Husk was amzing. Opentable actually tricked us and booked our reservation for the week after but the hostess made room for us. The shrimp and grits may have been the best food I ever tasted
