Husk - Charleston
The food tasted deliciously fresh and the whole experience was wonderful!
Despite the concerns about Coronavirus, we chose to keep our reservations with family who were visiting and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Fingers crossed that we were not exposed to the virus. Looking forward to dining at Husk again when the virus is no longer an issue.
We had a fantastic lunch before returning home from our vacation. Jeremy was our waiter and was super helpful on navigating the menu and giving his suggestions, as well as the level of service he provided. We will be back on our next trip!
The ever-changing menu is always something we look forward to when dining at Husk. Strawberries are in season down in SC and they were just included with several of our dishes.
We had high expectations but they were well met. Ambiance was great and food was incredible. Service was top notch.
The food was to die for and the service was excellent. It is an upper scale restaurant, but the dress is casual. I don't think this would be a good restaurant for you if you have younger children, because it's quite and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend !!!
The attention to detail and personal service-this is why Husk is special. There is no where else one could experience an amazing specialty meal and outstanding personal care.
Must try while in Charleston. A step above many other Charleston restaurants
Cute space and nice service. The brunch menu seemed limited but the cinnamon buns were amazing!
Desserts were incredible and my favorite dish (I had the chocolate brownie sundae).
Just as expected, excellent. Wife’s words “best birthday ever”. Heritage pork is indescribable. Good would be an insulting understatement
It was okay. I’m not sure it was worth the hype. $120 for dinner for two and we split the second course.
Food was very good, but for what you are getting over priced, wine way over priced. Place was rather noisy and service was not as great as one would expect at a high end establishment.
Had a few apps drinks and entree's, was not impressive. certainly well below reputation. we asked around with every local we ran into and they all said they were not surprised, they say it's a cruise ship restaurant.
The food was exceptional - I am willing to move back to Charleston just to enjoy this restaurant on a regular basis!
Our lunch at Husk was lovely. Service was exceptional, food was delicious. I can’t think of a nicer place to enjoy a glass of good wine and some wonderful southern food.
We went for lunch and it was good. Makes me wonder what dinner could be like.
Lived up to the hype-try anything with pork and you won’t be disappointed
Not as good as the last time I ate here... the food was over salted and portion size was too small.
Husk is always in our list of restaurants to visit when we’re in town and it has never disappointed us. We usually have lunch and dinner here when we come to Charleston. Excellent food, service, and ambiance.
Very good. Definately southern style so if you want real fried chicken for lunch that’s the place to go.
Husk was a very nice experience - good food, great service, and it is well done venue.
The only short coming ( and I have a wine cellar and feel my opinion is credible ) is has undoubtedly the most inferior wine lists for an upscale restaurant I have ever experienced.
Lives up to the hype. A great meal. Excellent service. We had the chicken fried cauliflower, pasta dish and steak. Each excellent. Tad too much salt o the steak. The rolls were piping hot and served with whipped pork fat butter. The bourbon list is extraordinary. The 11 year old Belle Mead is worth it.
The service was very good but the food was nothing to write home about. I did, however, love the ambiance.
Great spot. Doesn’t disappoint. Wonderful cocktails and yummy food.
I would highly recommend Husk, we loved every moment!
A unique dining experience. My wife and I went there for lunch, at the recommendation of a Charleston resident. We wanted to go for supper but they had no reservation spots open for the few days we were in town. We were able to get a lunch reservation and requested a table on the balcony. It was the best meal we had all week. The menu changes daily with everything fresh and sourced locally; they even have a list of where things come from. If you enjoy farm-to-table type dining, this is the place for you. Gourmet meal selections; simple yet layers of taste nodes. You won't be disappointed.
I had mentioned it was a birthday when I made the reservation, and the menu had a Happy Birthday on it, which was very sweet.
We liked seeing all the local farms and suppliers right at the entrance. Our server was very helpful and the food was great, and we loved the blues music playing in the background!
Always a favorite
The bar next door is awesome as well
Was really great !!! Service Food all great !!
Lunch was sublime, delicious. Had the fried chicken which was dry and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Perfect. Pecan pie and ice cream was not cloyingly sweet. Just perfect.
Hi Laura, I'm glad to hear you had a great lunch! Thank you for joining us and we hope to see you again! Tara
Fabulous restaurant with a great atmosphere!
Service and food were amazing. Would recommend going there.......save room for deserts it’s worth it
The wait staff is well informed, friendly and thorough. The food?... absolutely delicious!
Lovely meal - I am amazed at how quiet the dinning is heat. So a nice change from loud music pumping in the north east. Great food - a little on the rich side but when in the south you must get your southern on! The Bloody Mary was great! A blend on veggie juices with just the right amount of spice. A great dining experience
The buttermilk sauce was incredible! I had to refrain from licking my plate!! 😊
Honestly the food was fine. I’ve always had amazing experiences but this time it was just ok. Not sure why but that is how it was. Was a little disappointed but maybe just a bad night
The food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to go again,
service outstanding appertisers were very good and was the dessert.
