Love it best place to come to be honest

I never received my side dish with my main course, even after asking two of my waiters! It took at least 20 minutes just to pay the bill and leave

My wife, daughter and I enjoyed the food and help from the wait staff.
The food at this restaurant is always good and the owner "Ralph" is usually present to make sure there are no problems with either the food or the service. While the restaurant is known for catering large affairs, a regular meal is always good.

Very nice atmosphere with great food, exemplary service and an extensive wine list. Can't wait to return here for another wonderful evening.

Excellent as always

Absolutely great service. The food was also terrific. The portions appeared small, but by the end of the meal we were all quite full!

Been coming here for yrs and understand the times were in but my wife and I mostly enjoy the attentive staff more than the food but this time they were so packed we had to sit in a different room which was ok i guess but the usual waiters we like werent in this room so we were trying to enjoy our apps and we were being pushed to order our entree (mind you we ordered 3 apps to pick at at $20+ each and drinking!!) because people were waiting to be seated.

We had NEVER came here and ordered chicken parm but we both were in the mood for it so we did so... chicken parm was $24 which would be ok but its one chicken cutlet pounded out with ZERO SIDE! I get it , alot of sides are ala cart but no pasta w ckn parm?? I thought they forgot so i asked the waiter for it and they did and when we got the bill it was $6 each extra !! So we were charged $30 for ckn parm which was a cutlet and small side of noodles!!

Ive been coming here since it was a little place w great food and not a banquet hall but we both agreed this will probably be the last time we will be patrons here.

Haven't been in ages. The service unfortunately was subpar, and one of us received the wrong dinner, by the time the right one came out it arrived cold. Drinks & appetizers were very good, but disappointing overall.

It takes more than a village for some things, but at Il Villaggio a great group of talented and attentive folks ensure a great meal! From the warm welcome, to the classic decor, to the super attentive wait staff, all support the superb dishes, those on the menu as well as those you can "request." Il Villaggio is one of the best New Jersey has to offer, and its not to be missed!

Best Italian in New Jersey!!

I have been here.multiple times. It is on a major road; near a bunch of others; so a convenient meeting place. It has a feel you don't get often. Large room; dressed waiters and a 15 plus item special list. You never feel rushed. By the time the waiter is done, you are drooling and the menu becomes a moot point. The Chilean sea bass and octopus salad were perfect. Dessert surprisingly wasn't as good. My guest and a family member have both told me "we don't go for Italian often because we can make pasta at home". First there is pasta and there is pasta I had a pasta dish here a while back, we couldn't have made. It was insanely good. I have only had fish as good a few times in my life.

This was my 2nd time at this restaurant, the 1st was for a company holiday dinner. The food is excellent, and our waiter was very pleasant. I will definitely be returning.

Its a place to go when celebrating a happy occasion. We go cause its close to home. But this one is worth traveling in Bergen County traffic. Head to South Bergen and try it out folks. We are going tonight Nov 27th!!
