I went there on my partner Birthday dinner and it was all good experience drinks and specially food was mouth watering with rich aroma of spices I am not over stating really good has all the flavour for specific dish for example chicken tikka , butter chicken , pashawari Nan and so on find no fault at all only thing thing lack of staff taking orders it just delayed of ordering to on the table if that’s improve it would be best restaurant in Town no trouble parking and atmosphere is so good inside and relaxing anyone hasn’t tried should try it’s wonderful thanks

Our favourite Asian restaurant. The food never fails to impress with quality and portion size and wonderful flavours. Great value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We felt very safe as all possible Covid protection erasures have been taken.
Although the Covid situation has affected the number of people dining in, they were still doing very good business with takeaways.

Service was great and food (mainly starters) was tasty. The venue is huge. Would suggest having some light music playing in the background to drain our the rowdy folks in the bar area.

Excellent food... Polite staff... Little expensive without 25% off but worth it

I gave 5 simply because the WhatsApp message said we could pre-order which I did. However rather than the food being ready, the waitress came and simply confirmed our order and so we had to wait 30 minutes for food anyway. Then we had to call several times to pay after the bill was presented to us and we noted that we didn’t get the 50% discount on our drink order but didn’t want to waste time pointing that out. Food tastes great though so definitely would recommend this restaurant.

My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from Australia and wanted to try this restaurant that our whole family raves about. It impressed them in every way and continues to be a firm family favourite.

This is our family favourite restaurant. Great place for celebrations and get-togethers. Everything, food, service, ambience and value for money are second to none. Truly the best and most authentic Indian food to be found in the Croydon area.

This was my second visit and I really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Lively place, great service and would definitely recommend and come back again. Good choice for vegetarians.

My favourite local restaurant.

The food was horrible, so spicy and salty, even the Chinese soup taste like a spicy and salty curry and service was so poor. Have to remind our order to waiters 2 or 3 times.

I go here every week the food is amazing, my food has never been late, always cooked to high standards, I just can't get enough of it.

We were told that the actual restaurant area was closed as they had an event to prepare for so we were ushered into the bar area. The menu was good but we were left to find out options for ourselves. They had run out of mango chutney which doesn’t go down too well with me! Not good!

Birthday dinner, staff very very good and very courteous and friendly. Good service and wonderful food, will definitely be going back with family and friends. Cannot fault it! The lamb chops and daal makhani were fantastic as was my lychee cocktail 😊

I was running late due to traffic and the kitchen normally closes at 2.30pm with last order at 2pm...The staff were very accomodating and waited even past 2pm to take our order...The service was so quick and very professional...The food was divine.....Will definitely go back but will be on time 😉😂👍

When you go to an Indian restaurant, however good it is there is always a sense of 'sameness' about the food. The food here was noticeably different right from the start. Not only was it delicious, but portions were generous, which is a huge issue with so many of the restaurants I go to. Furthermore, the service was thoughtful and impeccable in every respect.

Visited on a Wednesday evening, it's a large restaurant but nearly empty. The service was slow and it took half an hour for someone to come and ask if we wanted drinks. We all ordered from the 'indian' menu, seems a bit odd to have two menus, indian and chinese, maybe people have curry with stirfried noodles- who knows?!
The food was all very tasty, can't complain at all. Portions were large and we ordered too much, which the waiting staff helpfully boxed up at the end so we could take home. The indian food is probably on the spicier side so if you are not a fan of chilli I'd order mild rather than medium!
The place is nicely decorated but seemed to lack ambience, maybe because of the size or perhaps just as so few people there that night, there's few windows either so little natural light.
I'd go again but I prefer my curry houses more intimate.

We received a warm and friendly greeting on arrival. Staff were attentive, although they were extremely busy and the speed at which we received our order of food was slightly slower than usual; we put this down to the large private party in a sectioned off area of the restaurant and it did not spoil our enjoyment overall. Food was delicious, fresh and could not be faulted in any way. Definitely our favourite restaurant for Indian food in Croydon.

True amazing Indian food. Have been visiting for past one year

Service was sooooooo slow. Took about 30 mins for the first starter to come out and the last came 40 mins later! Everything was coming in bits and drabs, soups came out halfway and one was completely jellified!! The sesame prawn toasts were so wet and actually looked like there was more chicken than anything.
The waitress was becoming rude and only after complaining to the manager did she start to smile n be polite.
It’s such a shame the service was so terrible because the food wasn’t too bad.

Poor service, poor menu for Mother’s Day and seating is disgraceful

We needed advice on the menu (vegan options) and the manager took time out to go through the menu and discuss. It was greatly appreciated

First time at Imperial Lounge for a birthday party. Very good place to get together and have a laugh. Good food and service. Only recommendation is for food to be warmer. A few things were not as hot as I would normally like it to be. Other than that, I definitely will be going again!

Your restaurant was very cold. Couldn't enjoy our food properly due to the cold air which resulted in our food getting very cold quickly. Apart from that waiters need to be more polite and more efficient. Food was good, 5*.
