Good overall! My friends and I had no complaints. Service was good👍.

Everything was fine except for getting into the restaurant. There was a bunch of confusion as there were many people waiting. Some for takeout, some as a walk in and some had reservations. A little more organization at the host station would make things run smoother. Perhaps 3 separate lines and maybe have the host go outside to keep confusion to a minimum.

Not the best experience but they were extremely busy so it wasn’t too surprising that the service was less than standard.

The door was broken

Pad thai was very bland. Everything else was fine.

Food was great-bit of confusion over chicken fingers with fries plus a side salad. Salad came but no fries. Mentioned it to the server that brought our food, never saw the fries. Gummy bear margarita had a very watered down shot of tequila...I mean I doubt there was a shot of alcohol in that drink. I’d go back-super fast service getting our food and drinks. Kitchen staff just needs to pay attention to the order and owner needs to stop watering down the drinks for more profit.

Was able to get a reservation on a Friday night. Service and atmosphere was good, but food was just ok.

Servers are friendly and food quality is great, however, the service speed from the bar is way too slow. Also, when OpenTable asked for the occasions of the reservation, the restaurant didn’t offer anything special or have any perks for a Birthday dinner.

Were seated quickly with open table reservation. Took awhile for server to come to get our order.

Waiter took awhile to get to the table to take order but was very ftiendly.

Shrimp bowl was very large and leftovers were enough for a snack for 2 people. Garlic, jalapeno mashed potatoes were a bit too spicy for me.

I ordered the chicken quesadilla, it was ok - not the best but not terrible.
We ordered the kids stir fry for our toddler and it was the last to arrive - a little annoying because anyone with children knows they’ll want to eat as soon as food arrives. Her dish was a little bit spicy for a toddler and I wish they’d warned me when I was ordering it for her I don’t recall the menu stating it would be a bit spicy. (Let me be clear, it was spicy for a 2 year old not spicy in general.... but the server could have mentioned this)

We asked for a refill on our drinks and they took quite a long time to arrive. I also asked for a to go box for our left overs and we never got one, and couldn’t get the attention of the server to get one.

Overall I was pretty underwhelmed. It was noisy and the service was slow. But the food was pretty good and brought the rating up.

Patio is great and the food is constantly tasty..servers are positive and courteous.. Though sometimes they can be a little slow.

Great service and all the food was super tasty. Splurged on dessert - let the cookie eat your brownie!! Promise you won't regret it.

One server can to tske our drink order but didnt tell our table assigned server so we were asked again what we wanted. It took awhile for the drinks to arrive and for the table server to take our food order. When the food arrives they didn't bring the cutlery and we had a very hard time to get someone to bring us some utensils.

We were rush when they brought they billed and as soon as we were paid we were expected to leave the table.

Everything was great aside from a hair being found in one of the meals. The waitress was quick to apologize and the meal was comped. Great service otherwise :)

Loving this Open Table app since we can see when there are open reservations and book them. Where seated immediately when we arrived and the server was prompting got our drinks. Food came out quickly and was good.

Owen was an outstanding server. Did a great job!! The food was very good. Had not been to Jack Astor’s in a long time but I want to return soon.

I was initially pretty upset as they ran out of nachos at 6pm on a Saturday... but they made up for it with a complimentary poutine. I was still disappointed as we specifically came for the nachos but the service definitely helped as it was excellent and the food was otherwise really good. This location is slowly becoming a new favourite that we are visiting frequently as this is our third time in the past month.

We were seated shortly after we checked in. It took awhile for the server to arrive and take our order. Out drinks were brought out by another server and refill several.

The 3 cheese macaroni was good but the cheese crudt wasnt whst were expecting. The chicken parmesan was good and the tomato sauce on the side was spicey

Even though they messed up our order they were quick to offer a free meal and ended up covering the whole bill! That’s amazing service.

When there was something wrong waiter quickly accommodated and made adjustment to the bill, when the bill came out wrong he quickly corrected and made sure it was correct! Nice date night out
