Outstanding as usual, Don't hesitate to go there

Food was good, could have been better. Service was ok, not bad. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive.

All was good in the end, but I assumed when making an outdoor reservation, especially in these times, there’s outdoor dining available. No tent, not tables set up, no option for outdoor dining. Someone should have let me know.

It was relaxing, delightful, and needed.

We dined early so as to avoid too many people as we do now routinely when we dined our. Enjoyed the food. The drinks were good but are super expensive these days.

Junior made our evening out excellent! Friendly and courteous! Exceeded our expectations. Fantastic job.

Food was excellent. Great portions and timely service. It was our anniversary and they treated us special with a dessert on them. We will return and recommend Jameson’s to our friends and family.

Dining out is still a bit uncomfortable, which is not the restaurant's fault. The meal and service were fine, but not exceptional.

This is my go-to restaurant for that special date night. Want to support the Skokie location as it is my favorite. Things are a bit different during the "covid" which is to be expected. This always had a 5 star rating so hopefully when the news of the fake pandemic comes to light in 2021, all will go back to normal.

Such great service and we're never disappointed. London broil is wonderful.

We felt bad that we were the lone couple dining inside where plexiglass separates the booths for safety measures and we felt safe and comfortable. The food was great. Our crab cake app was perfect, and to have soup and salad included was an incredible bonus! My wife loved her salmon entree and my shrimp de Jonge was wonderful. Service was excellent and the dining experience was clearly 5 star!!!

As always Jameson’s didn’t disappoint. Service was top notch, food was served in perfect timing and of course cooked to perfection.

Service was not very attentive.
Food tasted like it was cooked from frozen.
Patio area is nice and roomy but not much shade from the sun.

Great food

We had a birthday party. They could not have been more accommodating! From the moment we arrived till we left we felt attended to. We didn't have to wait for anything we asked for. All of the special requests were done without an issue. Our server didn't miss anything. Every item came out in a timely manner and were done exact as we asked. Normally we go to the Arlington Heights location every year for my Birthday, but this year we decided to try this one. This will be our new celebration location! Thank you all for the best Birthday Party!

Took advantage of the limited outdoor seating on a nice day for dinner with my parents. Staff was attentive and food was good. The outdoor seating has a broad western exposure; so be aware that sun can be a big problem at dinner time; bring sun glasses if you plan to eat outside during this pandemic

We had a lovely time! Took a party of four to celebrate a birthday. Two of us had steaks, one had the pork chop and one had salmon. Quality was great, portions perfect, and cooking very skillful. We enjoyed Jameson’s Charhouse very much and will be back.

Great food at great price competes with downtown Chicago

Food was terrific......a terrific Ketel one vodka Martini...shaken not stirred and as good a steak as I have had downtown Chicago at "name" steakhouses at half the price....can't judge ambiance because of the Corona impact on all restaurants.....Service was outstanding because we literally had the place to ourselves.

First time dining in since COVID-19 started. We felt safe here!

We aren’t new to Jameson Charhouse, and have had very good experiences in the past. While the service was outstanding, the food quality seemed lackluster. The COVID setup was appropriate and the seating was mediocre at best. I’d love to revisit once the pandemic is over so I can get the great service we had before.

We are consistently pleasantly surprised whenever we eat here. Its our fancy steakhouse meal without the fancy prices. Always seasoned ans cooked perfectly! Best part is that my kids can enjoy it too. Luis and Jr make it feel like home! Cant wait to go back!!

Muy buena atención, la comida excelente no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo, la carne en perfecto término al igual que las ensaladas. Muy buenas margaritas todo estuvo perfecto hasta el clima ayudo para que sea una formidable cena. At first not so good. Plastic utensils. Over cooked dinner. But the management team quickly corrected the situation and it turned out nice.

Great hamburgers, the one item I always order here. However, I will remember to tell my server to hold off on the half pound of cheese. It hides the burger. And in a time of social distancing, tell the server not to stop by every five minutes and lean over to talk in our faces every 5 minutes.

Food was very good (short ribs were amazing!). Service was good and location is perfect for the North Shore center.

Great food and very friendly and helpful service. The only comment would be that service was slow due to too many customers and not enough waitstaff. The waitstaff and hostesses were working very hard and management stopped by twice to check on our table.

Food was ok. Nothing fabulous. Salty and over cooked in some cases. Not cooked enough in others. I was disappointed. Service was great though.

Our first to Jameson's - overall my sister and I had a great time. We were in the mood for steak and we were fulfilled. I think the highlight for sister was the enormous serving of our artichoke dip appetizer. Arguably the creamiest we've had. If I were to find anything remotely negative, it would be the sides. While I ordered a baked potato, sister ordered the mashed potatoes which were just dry. No cheese or butter to her dismay so she took the butter from the complimentary loaf of bread. But really, nothing remarkably bad. Our server was a sweetheart and checked up on us. Will definitely be coming back - affordable piece of rib eye with flavor is a rarity.

We were seated at a table that was obviously just pushed into a small open space.
Two of the four chairs were lopsided, and should not have been in use. They tipped to one side.
Our table was directly in the path of the door that opened into the parking lot, and when anyone came in, or went out, we were blasted by cold air. The table was simply an attempt by management to squeeze more people in. It definitely should not have been there., and we were quite uncomfortable.

Our food was mediocre, at best. The salads were already plated, and came right out of the refrigerator. A small dish of dressing was put on the side of the plate. The lettuce was sorry-looking, and not crisp or fresh.
We had to ask our server for bread when we noticed other tables had it. She had clearly forgotten to give it to us, but told us she was just waiting for more hot bread to come out of the oven.
We all ordered fish, two walleyes, and one tilapia. The walleye was tasteless, and some indistinguishable thick sauce was poured over it. It was a very poor preparation. The tilapia was also mediocre.

We were so uncomfortable at our table, between the blasts of cold air hitting us when people exited, and the chairs which were broken, we asked our server for boxes to take our food home. This was within 15 minutes of being served.
She NEVER asked if everything was okay, or, why we were leaving. She brought the boxes, and our check, and was gone.

We will not return again. We have many restaurants available to us along the North Shore. This was a poorly operated restaurant, with unsatisfactory food and service.

food was solid as usual, we had a shrimp dejonghe, fettuchine Alfredo with and without shrimp. portions were a perfect size for both the men and ladies. it was a friday evening, so crowd was a little more lively. cocktails were made to order. our server was not the best, handed us a special sheet, didnt offer a suggestions to us. took our orders salads delivered to table, and not 2 minutes later meal on the table..... waiter did not come and check on us during our meal to see if we need anything or how it was. we will go back, its just always a luck of the draw on the server......

Seated on arrival and greeted by waiter. Drinks and appetizer ordered and came fairly quick tho kitchen very busy. Macadamia encrusted Tilapia very good and very warm. Waiter made aware of Asparagus allergy. Carrots and green beans substituted without issue. Hubby had petite steak which was cooked to his liking. he had asparagus which was tasty and cooked properly. No dessert on this visit due to Theater tickets. Will return again with next Theater visit. Menus in total had enough variations for anyone to pick from.

Service started great but declined rapidly- waited way too long for steaks only to find out that they had given them to someone else mistakingly - manager quickly ordered two more which also took way too long and then 2 medium rare steaks came out well done and medium/well done.

Manager was very awkward in offering restitution ultimately comped our appetizer and then somewhat reluctantly offered another steak if we returned after our show. Was very unclear whether that steak would be comped or charged but ultimately it was also comped-

In the end these were two fairly nice accommodations but it was very awkwardly and very non-proactively offered.

To top it off the manager instructed the cook to cook the second steak rare so that my son could reheat and eat his steak later that night when he got home - my son indicated that when he got home it was also well done and not all of that could have beencontinuous cooking while he drove home

Very disappointing - Father/Son night out wasn’t ruined but meal component experience was terrible

Food great but service only mediocre. Never refilled ice teas. Seemed annoyed that we ordered fro the appetizer menu for lunch.

Have been a frequent diner at Jameson’s and always had a great meal Unfortunately this time it was subpar. Ordered steak medium rare but it came out very rare inside cold . No biggie I thought they just put it back on. Well 15 minutes later they bring it out and it’s extra well done. Server was great offered to have a new one made but my group was already finished. Then they still charged me Lol. Gave us a free piece of tiramisu. Unfortunately we don’t like tiramisu. Probably will find another option next time
