Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab - Washington DC
Really good food and nice service. I really like the quality of their seafood. Will go back.
Went for a family get together during our trip to DC and had an incredible dining experience! Victor was our server and he really was very attentive despite how busy it was! We all had filet mignon which were cooked perfectly as ordered. Portions are generous and the ambiance cannot be beat! Will be back again on our next DC trip
The food was excellent, service was great. I’ll be visiting again.
Second time at Joe’s and the food is amazing five star service
Another outstanding dinner in one of our favorite DC restaurants. Excellent service
Our server, Paul, made the experience fantastic. Food was exceptional other than some shrimp that was over-cooked. Overall, really glad we chose this restaurant while we were in DC and would come back in a heartbeat.
It was nice, but there were loud children behind us and the shrimp was over cooked. Everything else was good.
Stephen was fantastic! He made my sister’s birthday lunch even more special.
Our food was great! Service was poor. We weren’t served our entree until 47 minutes after our appetizer, which was delayed and took more than 30 minutes to arrive itself. When it was all said and done there was a hour and a half from when we placed our order and the time the food was served. Finally the manager came over, only upon our request, and they were not apologetic and stated “looks like you have a good meal in front of you, enjoy”. The other persons in my party thought we would have been treated differently if we were not minorities at this establishment which tells me a lot and supports my thoughts on the experience (putting it politely)
Excellent dinner. Superb service. Crabs, fish, fillet. Select crabs were small. Fillet slightly tough. Sides and desserts excellent.
Fantastic dinner, stone crabs and dover sole, nice wedge salad, and mashed were yummy too with a cheesy crunchy topping. Great service, didn’t disappoint, unlike Vegas which was miserable.
We were visiting DC to sightsee and try out restaurants.
My BF had been to Joes Seafood and Stone Crab in Miami and really liked it.
Our visit was mostly enjoyable but there were a few quirks.
I ordered a chop steak, not to be cheap but because I like them. It was a bit disappointing but mostly ok. When i ordered it, our waiter said ‘you know what this is, chopped meAt’. I assured him I’ve had them and not being a huge steak eater, its an option I like. He seemed disappointed I guess because at $22 it wasn’t one of the higher priced items.
My BF ordered the Branzino, unfortunately it was very dry and not much taste. We shared a Wedge salad which was very good. We also share onion straws and hash browns which were also very good.
When we got the check, there were two extra items we didn’t order. Some seafood dish for $30 and a beer for $6. I was drinking wine and my BF had a drink we brought from the bar before dinner.
When i pointed this out to our waiter he acted, not surprised, but ‘caught’. “Oh, those aren’t yours’. no kidding they weren’t ours Hate to assume but don’t. Feel it was an error. Many people don’t check their. Bills, I always do, not to try and catch someone but to be sure we are paying for what we got and are not paying for things we didn’t get.
We still left a 20% tip but my advice is here, and actually all restaurants, always check your bill.
The atmosphere was great, very clubby steakhouse but the noise level is super high, almost can’t carry on a conversation.
Winter Park FL
The staff was very attentive and treated us like royalty. The food was delicious and the ambience and setting was beautiful!
Best steak my husband has ever had and the mahi was outstanding as well! Great spot for a special occasion.
Absolutely wonderful! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was marvelous and the entire experience was better than we even expected. Ask for Ross. He was fabulous.
Having long heard of Joe's Stone Crab in Florida, we were in Washington and decided to try it. Everything was outstanding. Not having had stone crabs before, they gave us the opportunity to try one first before ordering more. Enjoyed everything we had there.
The steak and service are beyond greatness!! I can’t wait to go back again!
Oohhhh the oysters are out of this world too!
Food and service is always great. My favorite place to go in DC.
Paul was amazing.
I had the salmon. Yumm. Love it.
Excellent food. Superb service. A great view of DC social scene.
Great food and service. Excellent place for a special night out. Loved it.
Excellent Food, Excellent Service! Will absolutely be visiting next time I'm in DC.
The BEST Service and Food!!!! If you ever come to D.C. you have to come here!!
I brought a friend here because he’s new to the Washington DC area and WOW. Out of all the places I’ve visited in DC, living in MD, my whole life. This has to be the best of the best. I loved the service from beginning to end. Everyone’s manners and accommodations were perfect. Our server was absolutely amazing, thorough, and on top of everything. I ordered the Alaskan king crab legs and my friend ordered the filet migon with the lobster tail. I preferred my crab legs hot but they suggested the speciality was to have it served chilled. My server gave me the option of trying it chilled first and if I did not like that, they could bring it to me hot. Wonderful! Attention to detail was great and all staff was friendly and welcoming. You must try this place out if you haven’t taken a visit already. Worth it!
Very good food and an excellent outstanding service!!! The Noise Level is quite high which is the only point of „criticism“
Rosh Hashanah dinner was Devine.
The Stone Crabs were delicious, if not a little smaller than expected, but the star of the meal was the Chilean Sea Bass and the Filet Mignon. Also, the crust of the Key Lime Pie was exceptional. All around a very good restaurant. The staff was great.
Joe's does a wonderful Rosh Hashanah dinner- not cheap but excellent value. Third straight year and haven't been disappointed yet!
We’ve been to this location, Chicago and Las Vegas and we’re never disappointed, consistency is their middle name. Great food and great service, hopefully we can get into the Chicago location for thanksgiving dinner.
Outstanding as always. The service is impeccable and the food the best.
Great food, beautiful restaurant and Arthur was an awesome waiter. We had a lovely time!
My wife and I were having our last meal in Washington and the states after 2 weeks on holiday. Had a lovely time all round. Thanks.
Wonderful dining experience. I would recommend a booth for normal conversation.
The food and service were both outstanding. Extensive wine menu. Knowledgeable servers and fantastic ambience. We were a group of 6. It was a little noisy but overall I will absolutely go back again.
Amazing! They have jumbo size stone crab!
Price is extremely high but good.
Great food, great service, great ambience.
A great pre-anniversary date. Totally as expected, great food, terrific ambiance. A truly amazing place to experience a meal at.
Pail is one of the finest waiters ever. Splendid food, excellent service, wonderful ambiance. The place to be in DC.
