   The present hyperbole of online descriptors and hyped menu summation should be ignored. Everything was mediocre at best. Our server, though new and admittedly working from a learners curve was attentive and pleasant, if sometimes excusably confused. Drinks from the bar were surprisingly reasonable. Mixed drinks properly made and beers not over priced. Value for the food was ok , preparation and presentation average or just less than. If dining here, I would stick with the basics and not order anything too in-depth or anything sauced. I was unaware that this restaurant is part of the holiday inn complex. For an in-house holiday inn restaurant, it is good. As a standalone restaurant not pulling from a captive stream of hotel guests, in my opinion it wouldn’t last very long.

   Service was very slow and we had to ask multiple times for different items through the meal. Two people in our party ordered steaks and they were both over cooked. The only enjoyable things we got were the fresh bread and spinach and artichoke dip. Would not recommend this place.

   The restaurant design is beautiful and the ambiance is very nice. We were waited on by Omar, who was very kind and polite. The bread was really good and the spinach dip was good, not spectacular, but tasted okay. We both ordered steak, one with parm encrusting and the other with horseradish. Our steaks were cooked to proper temperature but had almost no seasoning and tasted like they had been marinated with seafood. We both ended up spitting out our first bites and did not eat anything else. My horseradish encrusting did not come out with my steak, and when they brought it back out it tasted like parm, not horseradish even though they insisted it was. When I asked for the check, Omar didn’t even ask why none of the food was eaten or even offer us to go containers. I think he could tell we were pretty unhappy and just looked at us and said, “I’m sorry.” I didn’t make a big deal about it. I just paid the check and we left. I have eaten here several years earlier and remember the food being very good. I don’t know what happened this time but the entrees were absolutely awful.

   My reaction to the restaurant is "meh," and not really top of mind for coming back again. The entry way smelled like armpits, and the restaurant was pretty empty but even still service was not great. It took several minutes in between each time our server would come over. We didn't get a drink menu, then asked for one, which didn't include wine. When we asked about wine, we were not given any options and it sounded like they had 2 options- red or white lol. I was surprised given it's an "Italian," steakhouse. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. The restaurant started cleaning up before we were even done, so again, nothing terrible but definitely not somewhere I'd recommend or would want to go again.

   Food was average, not great. It appeared they had staffing issues, service was very slow. They forgot one drink for our party. The soup came out with the entree and the salads were never delivered. The sauces were missing something, or were possibly out of a can, nothing to get excited over.

   Our server Kandi was fantastic. They were short staffed and took longer to get seated and drinks but under circumstances our server did the best she could. Need to hire more people.

   We waited at the host stand for more than 5 minutes and not even acknowledged. A customer at the bar told us they were understaffed, so we waited a little longer. Still no one came out, so we decided to leave.

    Had a reservation for a birthday. Friends drove in from out of town. Waited 15 minutes to be seated and had to find a server to seat us. 29 minutes passed and a server brought us water and explained they only had two staff and basically asked us to leave. Called a left a message for management and they never called us back. Will never be back!!!

    Obviously they were short staffed but that didn’t stop Omar who was doing everything in the front from bartending to waiting to cleaning tables. He had a great attitude and provided us with great service. Food was excellent as always.

    Food was good although steak was underdone and after about 20 minutes of no one checking to confirm everything was good chased down our waiter to have them put the steak back on to cook longer. They did replace the sides with warm sides afterwords. Serious lack of staff! The staff that was working were working hard to keep things operating.     The food is delicious. Meatballs are the best I have ever had. But if you go don't be in hurry, this was our third time here and there have not been enough servers anytime we have been there. You will wait to be seated, wait for someone to take your order, wait for your food and wait for the check after you eat. This is not because they are busy, half the tables are empty, they just don't have anyone working.

    Very disappointed in the quality of service and food! A year ago we found this place to be quite a treasure but this last experience was a let down. The server was nice but very forgetful considering we were be of only two customers in his area to serve. Forgot to bring our salads before the entree. When our meal was served the steak was prepared over done and couldn’t hardly cut into it because it was like a rock. Could not even eat the meal because it was so awful. Not worth $$$ at all! Jags down the street would have been a better choice for what we paid to eat here.

    I personally had a phenomenal evening here. I had a filet and not only was it cooked to perfection but was seasoned beautifully. Comparable to a Carlo and Johnny's ribeye honestly!! Babygirl had a steak trio and absolutely loved every bite. Bread and appetizers on time and on point. Pasta was also good. Lobster Mac n cheese, great 👍!! I absolutely cannot wait to get back to eat here again. My better half shared my sentiments. 5/5. Especially at half the price of any Ruby restaurant in the city. Recommended to my family already.     Was a slow night there. A Friedan night. Had to wait 45 min for even 1 drink. Was told it would be like that because regulars come first (3 people at the bar drinking beer). Bartender also got very angry that we ordered 2 mixed drinks. He was complaining very loudly to the regulars about us because the 2 drinks we ordered. So if you’re not a regular coming in for a couple beers at the bar, they don’t care about you. Anniversary ruined. Server was nice and honest though. Wasn’t his fault.

    Overall one of the best options in the Cincinnati area. Steaks are delicious and cooked exactly how you ask for them. The meatball appetizers are the best meatballs we have ever had. Great atmosphere also. Prices are good for what you get.

    Got seated and waited 25 minutes and waiter/waitress never came to our table. No acknowledgment whatsoever. It appeared as if they were understaffed but still should have acknowledged us. Saw waitress point in our direction and said something to another employee but still no one came so we left. Can’t say I’ll ever go back with that kind of service!

    After waiting at an abandoned host station for 15 minutes, we were finally seated in the bar area (we asked if any tables in the proper restaurant area and were told no). The service was horrible, we actually seemed to be being served by the bartender. The scallops appetizer - the scallops were rubbery and way overcooked on a HUGE bed of overdressed sliced bruessel sprouts. They didn't have any Beef Wellington, and were out of a number of wines we wanted to select. The entrees took FOREVER (over an hour) from the appetizer delivery, and while acceptably preparead, were not worth the wait. The server never came and refilled our water, I had to physically go find him to get him to get us some more as well as get the check. I do NOT recommend this restaurant and looking at other reviews for the weekend we went, it seems like our experience was NOT isolated.

    Staff was unorganized. We stood at the hostess stand for 15min while a gentleman checked on tables… Very confusing as to why we wouldn’t be seated, it takes 30yrs. Very unclear as to whom our waiter was, as we were checked on by 3. This sounds like it would be a good thing but in fact we were simply being asked the same questions 3 or more times, felt more like an interrogation lol. The food was mediocre at best but with the price tag connected it by far wasn’t worth it. Turned out to be a $100+ dinner that my date and I would have happily traded for a $30 meal literally anywhere else… not pleased at all!

    Don’t waste your time and money Food was bland and over cooked Service was poor. We waited in line for 30 min with a reservation. They were only seating one table about every 10 min. Ordered wine from the menu, they were out of every type. Ordered a beer, they didn’t have either type. Tried to order bourbon from the menu,they were out of that as well. Had to settle on a water. Water was never refilled throughout the course of the meal. Both steaks were severely over cooked. Took almost 20 min after the salads were brought for the steaks to arrive. I can only assume that they were being cooked. Oh the surface of the sun. For the entire 20 min. Took the steaks that we couldn’t eat home. The dog chose his kibble over the steak. To review- long waits with a reservation. Terrible service. Terrible food.

    Waiter was very nice , resturaunt seemed very understaffed , a lot of food was out of stock on the menu the drinks to extremely long to come out , not all of the food or drinks came out at one time. No one apologized for the wait all that was offered was a glass of wine on the house and I was brought a different wine than what I asked for. I would not recommend coming here.     We booked Valentine’s Day here because even a couple weeks beforehand, most other steakhouses had no open reservations that evening. I was unaware that it was located in a hotel. This itself wouldn’t have been an issue, except they were clearly understaffed. 😕 Being in the industry, I totally get this, and we were patient and generous to our server, but it was a bit of a let down for a special evening. We waited a half hour after our reservation to be seated, and tried to order cocktails, but were told they were only serving beer and wine. A bit disappointing. Scallop appetizer was small but very tasty. Salads were okay. We upgraded to the spinach salads that sounded really good but they were just huge plates of spinach with very little toppings, dressing, or flavor. We both ordered steaks, med rare, with different shrimp toppings. Entrees had a good flavor but both steaks were over cooked. Server did his best but there should have been a manager making rounds and checking on guests. We probably will not return.

    We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. We walked in and it had the ambiance of a 1980’s cocktail lounge. After the host sat us we sat for 21 minutes and never saw our server. We, along with another couple who was sat at the same time as us both walked out due to poor service.

    There was no one at the reception table greeting guests. When someone finally notices you they made best not to make eye contact. If we were not next we would have left as did so many behind us. There was no bartender to even get drinks while we waited. Seemed very very short staffed. Once seated it took awhile for our waitress to come. She was great though so it was not her fault. The staff there did not stop. Just not enough of them. The food was outstanding. Hopefully we caught them on a bad night.

    First of all I had no idea this was a restaurant in a Holiday Inn Made a reservation at 7pm and had to sit at the bar. They had 1 bartender and 2 servers. The bartender was great. He really did his best. We were out of potato’s and the lobster Mac n cheese My steak had no flavor and was overdone. The couple next to us.. clearly they just should’ve got a room because the guy was playing with the girl under the napkin and wasn’t really trying to hide it.

    A hidden gem, who would look for a class A steak house attached to a Holiday Inn ? The servers were attentive, smiling, and plentiful. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sides tasty.

    I made a reservation weeks in advance. We waited 5 minutes for an attendant at the desk to seat us. They were quickly preparing our table that was not set. Our waiter took our drink order and appetizers. The apps were presented in 15 min but no drinks after 40 minutes. The waiter never came back for our dinner order. We asked about our drinks and he said he would check. He then appeared snd said he was going to make them. We paid for our app and left. The menu looked outstanding we were all displeased with the service and felt it was better to leave.

    Waited for over 15 minutes for a host/hostess to come and no one helped us to our table even though we had a reservation. Very disappointing considering we drove down for my friends birthday and had to find other dinner arrangements as a result of their lack of service
