Journey's End at Pechanga Resort & Casino
New York steak was delicious
First time visiting. Had a girl friend reunion before wine tasting tour. Lovely location, service was great, food was good, not complaints and the bloody Mary's were delicious. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
Everything about this restaurant is quite simply superb! From the quiet elegance of the decor, to the customer first attitude of the entire staff, to the outstandingly delicious food, which is always beautifully presented, I am happy to say this is my favorite restaurant in all of Southern California. And trust me I have been to many many restaurants The world over! And let’s not forget the lovely views from the dining room. I always bring my out of town guests here and they are always wonderfully impressed and have high praise for Journey’s End! You simply cannot go wrong here, and believe me if you have guests that you want to have an exceptional dining experience, journeys end will make you a superstar!!
The Pechanga Casino as a professional, beautiful place and I had higher expectations for this restaurant at their premier golf course. I made lunch reservations for my fiancé‘s birthday and was very disappointed to see the limited menu and even more limited wine list. They didn’t even have a decent bottle of champagne! Food was dry and overpriced. Our server was nice and friendly, but covered in tattoos and not skilled in serving. She dropped place at our table and handed us new pieces of silverware using her fingers instead of a napkin. Overall a very disappointing experience and not up to the standards of the casino. I will not be back nor will I be recommending it to friends or anyone.
As usual, excellent food! They breakfast burrito is one of the best and those pancakes? YUM. We had a lovely waitress and a spectacular view and we will definitely be back.
Exceeded expectations. Looking at the menu it didn’t look exciting but they do the basics really well. We got the corn beef hash, the eggs Benedict and the chef’s special French toast for dessert. Also had the shrimp cocktail for appetizer. All were very good. And the ambiance is nice on a sunny day.
Food and value was great - only issue we had was finding the restaurant...no signs or directions online, we had to call to finally find the building.
Brunch for a friend’s birthday. There was no waiting, and attention by the waitress toward all of our needs. Food came out quickly. Such a beautiful place.
Great place to eat with a great view! Prices are very reasonable considering the location and view. I like that you don't have to access the casino to get to this restaurant.
2nd time dining here for brunch within last couple weeks. Food was good. Portion for the chili verde dish was very small. Service was good and atmosphere great.
We always have a great meal! We especially love the Easter and Mothers Day brunches, they are outstanding and beautiful. We have recommended this restaurant many times to friends and family.
My husbands Eggs Benedict was very delicious and my Wild Orchid cocktail was delicious as well. I would not get the seafood Cobb salad again but everything else was wonderful.
Great setting. Excellent food. Prompt service. Very nice experience all around.
Very dissapointed that you canceled Sunday Brunch without notifying us. In fact you sill advertise Sunday brunch on your website.
Food mediocre wait staff was fine.
Went to Journey’s for breakfast. The food was excellent. The ambiance was nice. It was raining and they had the fireplace burning. It was beautiful. Service was also excellent. Prices were amazingly reasonable. I’m looking forward to trying something from their lunch menu.
Journey's End never Disappoints! Great on all Categories. Our Server was Fantastic!
I wish I could remember her Name!
Late Breakfast Business Meeting at 10:30-11:00AM
We had an excellent lunch, lots on the menu to choose from. We received great service!
Food and drinks were delicious. Restaurant is beautiful and classy.
Christmas Saturday lunch🥰
We have been eating at Journey's End ever since it opened. We have had both breakfast and lunch on numerous occasions both as a couple and as part of a group. I even reserved their back room for a group of 25 one Christmas. First of all the setting is lovely with a view of the golf course, and you can eat out on the patio if you so desire. The service is always friendly but professional; they are very gracious about splitting checks. The food is varied, consistently very good and reasonably priced. My $10 two egg, three strips of bacon, potatoes and toast breakfast would cost that much in places with far less appeal. It is a large room with plenty of space between tables, so conversation is not an issue. My book club meets there from time to time, and we have no problem discussing the book. We have not tried their brunch, which is quite a bit more than the menu meals, but it would still be a lovely place for a Sunday morning. Note that this restaurant is NOT in the main building/casino. It is in the golf course clubhouse.
Celebrated our Daughters Birthday. Lunch was lovely, service was perfect. We will go back!
Thanksgiving buffet. Excellent!
Great place with a view! Enjoyed the thanksgiving buffet with the family requested outside seating to enjoy the awesome view of the golf course and mountains. Food was excellent (eggs benidict and the tri-tip highly recommended) and staff was very friendly and helpful as usual; thanks Christopher! Only complaint would be a lot of dishes were empty and should of been larger amount displayed (out of vegetables, bacon/sausage, syrup and biscuits that I saw) but still overall a great experience. They now offer this brunch plus seafood on Sundays ... treat yourself to this experience
Did not stay to eat. There is now only a $35 offering on-Sunday. Was going to try it despite the cost but no server came over even though several were standing around so we left. Previously a la carte menu food was good. Stay away on Sunday unless they go back to prior arrangement.
Very nice setting, didn't give it 5 stars because of the ketchup and hot sauce bottles on the tables which in my opinion is not upscale.
Highly recommended. One of my favorites. This is a must try if you are in the area. Food and service are always great. Beautiful golf course views. They have a space that can accommodate private parties which is also wonderful.
Had such a great experience. Food was amazing and was a nice touch to have met the chef.
Ambience was very friendly.
Great ambiance and food. Met for birthday lunch. Love this place.
Beautiful setting, good service, and delicious food.
We went to Journey's to enjoy Sunday Brunch. I ordered the Monte Cristo that was just okay. I have enjoyed this previously so this time it was just okay! The other friends in our party enjoyed their food.
My husband and I went to Journey's again today! Looking forward to the Monte Cristo. It was so greasy that I had to remove the battered bread or whatever it was. Very little meat and cheese in the
sandwich. I am so sad because this has been my favorite and had felt Journey's had the best in our area. I told the waitress that I thought they had changed their preparation and she checked and said no. I will not return for brunch. We often enjoy Happy Hour and it is the best. I will need to talk to my favorite server!!
We had a very nice breakfast at Journey's End! Nice dining room, good food, and reasonable prices. We plan to go back and try lunch and happy hour!
this is a great restaurant, quiet, great food, great service. Had the king crab eggs benedict which was outstanding. Will definitely be going back.
It is also out of the way and not in the hub of the casino and it's smoke free so that's awesome for us non-smokers.
Nice ambience, nice view when seated inside or outside. Only, the service is a little lousy, we have to find them to ask for what we need. Overall, good.
JOURNEY'S END..... Ended badly
Wanted to give the place another try, as the first trip had issues. Went thete at 9:30 am on Saturday before Father's Day. Less than 2 dozen folks there, so not busy.
They have delicious banana bread, so we ordered that with a mixed fruit plate. However, they were out of banana bread so early.... why? This was one of their biggest weekends.
We ordered our meals and my wife asked for eggs a certain style and milk to brought with breakfast.
Somehow, from our written order at the table to the kitchen, the meals delivered to us came out wrong, again. My wife's eggs came out wrong, no milk for her and no muffin for me. We mentioned this to the server (a different person) but they quickly disappeared.
By this time, the place was packed and staff were getting schedule attending to guests. We couldn't get anyone's attention, didn't we our waiter, so we decided to eat. Quite a while later our waiter shows up after we were almost done. He offered to re-cook my wife's eggs, bring out the milk and muffin but that was impractical as we were done. I guess he sensed our displeasure with the whole process and left.
A few minutes later, the manager on duty stopped by to see if everything was ok (bad approach to problem solving a customer service issue when you got a heads up). He offered more food (Strike 2), then told us he would comp the wrong entree. We also told him about the poor food prep and bad service on our previous visit. I believe tbere was a apology somewhere in the conversation, but it did not stand out (Strike 3).
Journeys End is a very picturesque venue with tasteful decor, a nice menu and fair pricing. The staff are friendly but can get easily overwhelmed. I have no idea what happens in the Kitchen, and I suspect the people working there do not know as well. There is no Quality Control to verify food orders a prepared correctly.
Recommendation - drink at the bar only and enjoy the view.
Everything was great but service was slow. Had to ask for bread. Only one person outside serving drinks and food. Reservation was at noon and had to check 3 times before being seated at 12:20.
Price and food were good!!!
We sat outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Our waitress, Jolene was lovely and attentive. Cocktails were on point and so was that Peanut Butter & Jelly French toast! We also enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and the dressing on the ahi tuna salad was perfection. Will definitely be back.
This was on Mother's day! What an excellent choice. We already want to sign up for next year. A great layout great food...all the food you can think of. Buffet style my wife fell in love with the prime rib. My daughter loved the pink fountain.
We went for Mothers Day brunch. There was no cream for the coffee, we were told they ran out. The roast beef was also not available. We were seated next to the kitchen waiting door so it was noisy and did not have the atmosphere that I expected.
Slow service. Waited 30 minutes to get a drink order in. Food came wrong order. Steaks over cooked
I had the best egg Benedict breakfast ever!!! We will be going here again soon. Beautiful scenery, right on the golf course.
