   Brought out of town guests over for a brunch and it was a disappointment. Online menu lists a buffet which they don’t have but that was the first of many disappointments. They didn’t seem busy but we waited for 20 minutes for drinks then two in our party of six didn’t get their drinks until we pursued the waitress. The meals were Oh hum and not inspired at all in their presentation. Crab cake eggs Benedict came with completely overcooked and tasteless potatoes. The plate was not attractive, muffins and potatoes thrown on the plate with no appeal. 2 poached eggs, one wonderfully cooked the other with a hard cooked yolk. An unappetizing crab cake and a stingy amount of hollandaise sauce. My meal was a disappointment and mirrored the other breakfast meals my friends received. Food was just OK but I went out to have a treat and didn’t get it

   Went for brunch -- Omelet and burger were just average, and I expected more for the price. This place has seen better days - wish those days would come back! Would not recommend for lunch or brunch.

   We got married at this hotel 25 years ago (when it was called ANA Hotel) and we went back for brunch to celebrate. The hotel has changed a lot since our wedding but is still beautiful, the food was delicious and our waiter, Oscar, was phenomenal. He went out of his way to acknowledge our anniversary and treat us with special attention. The crab eggs Benedict was great.

    I asked for butter and it arrived with a dead and squished fly on it. Too bad I already had one of the three butter balls. Guess this is the Fairmont 5 Star Hotel standard. Didn’t touch it any longer and didn’t even bother raising a concern. Just left as soon as I finished my meal. Good thing the person I was meeting for a lunch didn’t make it. It would have been embarrassing to take clients out to a place that doesn’t take food sanitation seriously. Just disgusting.

    The burrata was lovely but the mains were just OK. The steak wasn't juicy, the club sandwich was alright. Where this place "won" was with the beautiful patio and excellent service. But the kitchen let them down.

    The outdoor patio is wonderful. I ordered steak and eggs and my mom ordered eggs Benedict. The potatoes served tasted old, my steak was not the greatest cut and was cold. Pastries were very good. The value not so great: 2 pastries for 9 dollars. Coffee was good and hot. Server was excellent. Food needs a lot of improvement. Plating as well. My steak and eggs looked really sad: some random piece of meat, eggs slightly over cooked for “over easy” and old tasting potatoes. I would still recommend it as the ambiance and outdoor patio is beautiful.

    WE celebrated my moms 95th birthday and it was the perfect venue. The Sunday brunch food was wonderful and the entire staff made her feel so special. Can't wait to come back!

    Never I had breakfast in luxury hotel, when they didn’t serve coffee, because “machine was broken” Hot water for tea was not available , where when asked another server water magically appeared. Wrong menu item was brought. At the end of the meal server asked: “ How was your drink?” Sorry can’t tell because they forgot to bring.

    Had to send some things back because they were wrong. Had to repeatedly ask for items such as hot sauce, jelly etc. I never got a refill until after we were given the bill. Poor service and meh food.

    We opted to sit outside - boy was it WARM and we quickly regretted our decision, but it being '21 and concerned about Covid, we stayed outside. Service was OK - slow at times. Food was fine, nothing really wow, but everyone enjoyed.

    Went here for Valentines Brunch. The staff was amazing. Patrice gave me great background into the Restaurant and the hotel. She was very nice, professional and courteous. Brunch was amazing. Food selection was healthy and appetizing. Can’t wait until it warms up and we can eat outside on the patio. My husband and I will be back.

    I was recommended this restaurant as it was advertised as a high end restaurant; I scheduled a Valentines Day dinner there thinking it was going to be a high class affair; however, that was not the case. The menu which we looked at on the website was changed unbeknownst to us; and the food had limited choices. The portions were disappointing, to say the least. However, the service was phenomenal.

    Made a reservation in which this restaurant requested a credit card number up front in order to reserve with a $30 charge for no show/cancellation. We arrived 30 minutes early just to make sure there was no issue and not only did we have to wait for for over 30 minutes past our actual reservation time to be seated, but the host sat us in an awkward "additional/overflow" seating in the hallway of the entrance to the restaurant. The pre fixed menu was a bit lack luster for $60pp and although we decided not to stay due to poor service, the food received by others sitting next to us appeared very generic and like it came from the counter at Safeway. I should have been able to charge this restaurant a $30 fee for making me wait to be seated and for horrible service as oppose to them asking for my credit card in order to make a reservation. I refuse to pay for horrible service and so we got up and left.

    Though the food was ok and our waiter did his best to attend to our table, it was clear that the restaurant was under-staffed and really struggling. The food also wasn't anything that kept me wanting for more, but that wasn't the biggest disappointment about the restaurant -- the service was very bad. Coupled with the price, it was very disappointing. When spending $60 per person on a Valentine's Day pre fixe meal, I expect a lot more out of the service. Half-way through our first course, we realized that our waiter forgot to bring us any bread so we asked for some. We waited about 30 minutes with empty glasses of wine (after asking our waiter for some more wine, but not receiving any). We noticed multiple people walked out and did not eat at all. The restaurant was clearly struggling so we did not complain to anyone there, but if it weren't for our own company, that would have been a horrendous experience.

    Went for a special Valentine’s Day dinner and the food was tasty. However the service was slow and the space was cold. It was a pre-fixe menu so I’m not sure why there was such a delay. We literally had to flag staff walking by for assistance. The table next to us waited almost 50 mins between starter and entree until I said something to the staff. They seated us in the outside of the restaurant in the transition area from lobby to restaurant. The area is surrounded by glass and leads to outside. First off, since I made reservations at a upscale place this is not where I expect to be seated. Second, no heaters really!?! Overall I’m sure this place is delightful. Just not on Valentine’s Night.
