   とてもフレンドリーな対応で素晴らしいですね。 シェフもフレンドリーでその人柄がお料理に出ています。 シェフズコースをオーダーしましたが、8皿の美味しいものが出てきました。 アスパラガス、ターター、鴨が出色でした。 ボリュームもとてもあり最近のヒュージョン系のレストランでは味わえない満足感があります。 また行きたいです！

   The servers were great and professional. The food was good, but not mind blowing. Expected more for a michelin star restaurant. Got the 9 course meal. Took 2.5hours to finish. I think it needs to be cut down to 1:45 min. Took too long in between meals.

   This is a fine dining experience in a casual setting. The food is inventive yet homey at the same time. Every dish is handled with care be it vegetables, meat or fish. The service across the board was terrific, the wait staff, bartender and bus staff. I really appreciated that we were not rushed to order everything at once nor were we rushed to finish. The wine suggestions were wonderful and very tasty. This is a restaurant that is good for a special occasion as well as a drop in to the bar for a drink and a nosh. Kudos all around.

   Kali is my all time favorite restaurant. Kevin is the best server we’ve ever had. Didn’t get to see Drew last night but he is incredible. You can tell how well he’s trained every person there. Their service is unmatched and extremely rare to find something like it anywhere else. This experience was one of the best dates I’ve been on and can’t wait to go back!

   We were the last table to be seated for service that day, chefs counter, watching all the action. Late night dining has its drawbacks… everyone a little tired from a full day’s service. But they did well to keep up a peppy attitude and serve with a smile (which quickly turned to a tired sigh). We enjoyed the nine course tasting menu with wine pairing. At $210 + $95 it’s a hefty price tag, but the portions and wine pours were VERY generous, with each dish complemented by multiple morsels of contrasting flavors, visuals, aromas, textures. Explanations of dishes were sometimes muddled, but when we inquired details, the cook staff kindly obliged to come out and give full explanations of processes. Kali always delivers spectacular, innovative, chef-driven cuisine. Dry aged beef rib eye, steak tartare piped into a crispy pastry shell, grilled celery root wrapped in steamed napa cabbage with whipped bearnaise and tarragon powder… and of course their iconic dessert of merengue gelato topped with shaved sugar-cured egg yolk… memorably delicious.

   We enjoyed the most flavorful and delectable samples of so many different combinations. First time having a few things I swore I’d never eat and they were delicious!! I will definitely go back even if it’s to sit at the counter try different options and people watch. I loved watching the kitchen staff create their meals. This is one fine tuned machine!

   Very good place for a date, I could hear my date speaking easily. The food was cool. The steak was my favorite steak I've eaten. It's juicy and has a great taste. I love the black garlic ketchup. It feels like a celebration of California. I really enjoyed coming.

   Service was on point and outstanding. Drew the Somm was like a machine, on point, a precision wine assassin! Food was amazing as always, along with the pacing. Best value Michelin restaurant in LA.

    Everything was fantastic. The food and service are impeccable. The pork chop was probably the best pork chop I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten them on four continents. Amazing experience!

    The food was well prepared and well described to us as each dish was served. My favorites were the winter truffle risotto, the scallop chowder, and the New York steak. The chowder was delicate, unlike any chowder I’ve ever had. The risotto was cooked perfectly, with wonderful mushrooms in each bite. The steak was seasoned so well. The service was great. The only issues were: the noise—we were seated next to an obnoxiously loud party of 8, to the point where my partner and I could not hear each other. And perhaps related to the first issue, the spacing of the tables were so close that our server’s butt was in our faces when he was serving the surrounding tables. I guess that’s what is meant when the reviews all call this a casual fine dining establishment.

    If you are looking for a Michelin experience with a spectacular execution on the food, a genuine delivery of hospitality by the owner, and a wine list that is comprehensive but priced for value and to move instead of collecting dust and awards- look no further. What a wonderful find. We need more restaurants like this in today's hospitality world.

    We were at Kali several years ago when they first opened. It was a wonderful meal with excellent, unpretentious service. We’ve followed them on social media and had to go back when we were in Hollywood with friends last week. It was great to see a booming business & our food was as delicious as we remembered.

    Sat at bar/kitchen which is always fun. I had steak tartare “cigar” wrapped in thin charcoal wonton like wrapper- divine. Pork chop fabulous. Cocktail east side. Best one ever. French pinot noir reasonably priced snd so smooth. And dessert i dream about….the meringue gelato with sugar cured egg yolk. Friends had uni pasta, duck and cod. They loved them all. Chef took time with us and told us his story. Close to home snd always great service and high quality food. Book now! Ps. Cece intern was lovely as well. Jessica very accommodating on reservations as well.

    Love the non-pretentious vibe at Kali: presentation of the food is on point. Good drinks menu including large wine selection. Favorite dishes were the mix seafood -crowded beach, aged squab, yellowtail crudo, and duck breast.

    Been here once and it was fabulous but we came back for the Valentines dinner and it was mostly awful. Oysters were good but the rest of the seafood was rubbery. Smoked beet was great but the duck and beef were very rare. If they would have asked us our preference it probably would have been better. I don’t want to hurt this business but for a $550 dinner I have had much better for the same price around LA.

    My wife’s Birthday dinner celebration at Kali was outstanding. Food was out of bounds. Inventive, balanced, tasty and with great visual presentation. The burgundy truffle soft creamy scrambled eggs were too good. The spaghetti with uni yummy and the roast duck with crispy skin and juicy delivered so much pleasure. Paired with two iconic Cali wines Phelps Insignia and Kosta Brown Pinot Noir. The service was spot on and ambiance was relaxed but every detail is taken care of. From the Riedel wine glasses to the chilled water glasses. Highly highly recommended and worthy of their Michelin star.

    The food was inventive and delicious and the service was superb. Really superb. We went on Valentine's Day weekend and the tables were a little close and the noise levels a bit high. With tip and 1 glass of wine each the dinner for 2 was about $260. Highly recommended for a special experience.

    When we first walked in, I thought we were in the wrong restaurant. It looked like a Cafe and the tables were empty. Wow were we wrong. People arrived. The food was amazing. Yes, well deserving of a Michelin star (or two in my novice opinion).

    Overrated for a Michelin star restaurant. The nine course dinner was too much. The ceviche was bad. The rest was good but boring and predictable, and definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. We were rushed out because they took so long to deliver the first few dishes. Finally, the waiter couldn’t understand anything we were saying. Also, it was cold because they kept opening the door and not closing it. Bad service for this price.

    We loved Kali. Service was great and attentive. Incredible presentation of creative food and drinks. Wine list offered great reasonably priced choices. You pay a little more than an average LA restaurant but get a whole lot more.

    I'm almost scared to give a good review as I'm afraid it will be impossible to get a table! Great range of delicious, consciously-sourced and beautifully prepared food. Vegetarian friendly, vegan friendly with great cocktails. We went for a la carte (too many mollusc allergies for the tasting menu) but it looked divine. Also- fantastic cocktails prepared by a mixologist who really cares; abd great wine suggestion by a very capable Som.
