   日本料理なのに、おもてなしの表現は全くない。ホストからバーテンダーまで、スタッフの態度はとにかく悪い。待ち時間は一時間超えて間違い注文だらけ。そしてホストからの失礼な返事は納得できない。最後に＄250のクオリティは家庭料理レベルに過ぎない。このLAにどうしてもおすすめできないお店です。

   アメリカ人向けの和食店だと思います。 日本人にとっては高い割に味がイマイチという、海外の和食店によくあるパターンで満足度は低いと思います。

   想像以上にカジュアルなお店です。 スポーツ観戦のあとの家族連れが多い日だったからかもしれません。 カウンターには日本人の寿司職人も数人いました。 値段は1流ですが味は少し高級な回転寿司程度。 内装や演出などの雰囲気、料理の盛り付けはそこそこ高級っぽい感じもします。 ハリウッド付近でどうしてもお寿司が食べたいならば行くかもしれませんが、わざわざ目的で行くほどのお店ではありませんでした。

   My favorite sushi spot in downtown LA. We were having dinner before the Lakers game and were worried about our timing. But the waiter asked us if we were going to the game and he made sure everything came out quickly. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The food and customer service is why we frequent this beautiful restaurant.

   We arrived at 6:15 with plans for the game at 7:30 and wanted to leave in about an hour. The service and food was very good initially but our waiter or kitchen seemed to have lost half of our order. We got half the food and was asked are we good to go when we explained we’re told had to start a new order by this time we were late and had to leave. Food and atmosphere was good service was way below what o would expect for this level of restaurant.

   Good food but portion is too small for the price. I didn’t like they seated us on a tight 6 table with 6 chairs. Our orders did not fit properly have to eat it quick to get rid of the plates. We spent $360. I requested for the the bigger table , they said it’s intended for 8 people. While seated, we saw them accommodated people from 4 to 6 people in the 8 table person 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    Excellent food and service. A little rushed - they bring everything you ordered at once - so if you want it staggered tell the waiter upfront.

    Food was very good. Food service was amazingly fast. We had most of our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Would definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area.

    Great place to eat for the reasons afore mentioned. Manager Tak is an amazingly cordial person. Wait staff is excellent. Hosts we had didn't small much.

    All restaurants down here are packed on game nights or weekends. If you make a reservation, they are very good at seating you on time. They are also very accommodating IF you are running late and you LET THEM KNOW. The food is very good, and comes out very quickly. The Chinese chicken salad can be shared comfortably between 2-3 guests. The short rib and chicken teriyaki are very tasty. The price is a little spendy, but a much better alternative to arena food. Most of the higher end places take an hour or more to eat, but Katsuya is usually 45 minute dinner. I love this restaurant before games!

    The whole fried Red Snapper was just great. We also had their premium sashimi platter and the uni was amazing. Add to that the smoked scallops and sliced white fish and it was truly one lovely dish after the other. The service was good and the drinks from the bar came out faster than usual. Love eating here before a Kings game!

    I have been to many other Katsuya locations but unfortunately this location was disappointing. The food came out way too fast and didn’t taste fresh at all. We placed our order, I went to go wash my hands and by the time I got back to my table all the food was sitting on my table. We waited another 20mins for our drinks to come so we finished our food before we got drinks. Overall it felt rushed, not fresh and didn’t consider the customer experience. Very unfortunate for such a well known place

    While the staff is nice enough, the menu selections arrived pretty much a minute apart. Soup, appetizer, and entree all basically at the same time. The tables are relatively small, so basically you have to buss your own table, which for $301.00 for two is not acceptable.

    Extremely small cut rolls, and just about every portion was very small and very expensive. Not a good value for the money. Other sushi restaurants provide a much better value.

    The food at Katsuya is always amazing, but tonight’s service was particularly outstanding. The hostess didn’t miss a beat when we showed up as a part of 9 for a 6-person reservation. Our server took care of us beautifully and even split the bill 9 ways without complaint. Couldn’t ask for more outstanding, seamless and gracious service. We will definitely return!

    All of our raw apps and rolls were stunning quality and the wagyu ribeye for $55 cannot be beat. I just returned from Tokyo and was nervous to eat US sushi -- this location did not disappoint.

    Came here for Valentine’s with my date and everything was great from the appetizer to the dessert. Awesome staff that are quick and on top of their game. Cool ambiance and good drinks. We gon be back lol

    Food was great however the server was terrible. She was not only rude but never check on us to see if we wanted anything and had to wait 10 minutes for silverware. By the time we got our silverware our food was cold

    Our go to before the Kings game. Food is always fresh. It is noisy with lots of people but you can still talk to your dinner guests. My only complaint is the covid fee being charged since it’s been 2 years now feel it should be removed.

    All food was amazing exceptional taste -except the pot de crème, the service was horrible, you need a new hostess she’s the wrong fit for this restaurant you need someone more classy and inviting the lighting is way off change the lighting or change the gold font on the menu it’s literally almost illegible the description should be in black also the seating was horrible it was like being in the back of a low rider an d couch that you sink down in no support it’s to low for the height of the table very uncomfortable the person that served the chocolate pot de crème didn’t even know what it was this is absurd cocktails delicious the waiter was dry barely came around the soy sauce was empty he brought one from another table walked away and that one was empty also this restaurant is not worth the price point and dont forget they have no parking $40 to park cash only and you have to walk a ways be prepared

    I went by myself to enjoy the Rock Shrimp Sushi Roll. I don’t remember servers name, but I sat at table 95 at 9:30 reservation for 1. She was very attentive and showed me how to pay my bill using an app because I didn’t have my physical card. Great time!

    Definitely wasn’t my favorite restaurant . It was too loud , the food was mediocre at best for the price. Staff is not attentive, and the seating is crowded. If you have options for Japanese dining I would definitely go with another.
