Wonderful thanksgiving dinner
Excellent private dining experience. As if you and your guests were dining in your own beautiful, historic home. Amazing food preparation and service.
Great food. Are here on Thanksgiving. Great food and great service. Drinks were great. Amazing pork chop meal.
The Kimberton Inn was AMAZING as always! The food never disappoints & the service was incredible!
The lamb chops were delicious! Cooked to order with the perfect balance of accompaniments. However, at this price point should diners really have to pay $6 for a small basket of bread and rolls with their meal? And not even a salad with your entree UNLESS you want to pay another $12 or so...The food and service were excellent, but overall I'd say over priced.
This was our first visit to Kimberton and we wondered why it took this long. The ambiance was wonderful and the staff attentive.
Fabulous meal! Everything was made to perfection. Very enjoyable evening
Best meal I’ve ever ordered out. Duck was phenomenal.
Beautiful quaint inn, great ambience, excellent food/service
Jeff and his team did an outstanding job with a high bar---as come to be expected over these many years. While the atmosphere was subdued due to the seating requirements: it afforded a very quiet and intimate setting. Thanks for putting the icing on our special day.
Not up to par-noisy,limited menu, food ok but not great.
If you want an excellent meal with attentive service, in a safe environment then Kimberton is your place! Great job!
Always amazing - Jeff and the team are always so friendly and the food is superb. Always a treat and enjoyable experience.
Change in menu not that appealing. Food was good but Not great. As a long-standing customer disappointed. They even charge for bread & butter to be brought to the table. Ridiculous! Portions smaller, prices slightly higher. Not sure if this is a way to recover from Covid shut down but charging for bread and butter....Really!
We did enjoy our dinner. My husbands dinner was very well prepared.
I had the mushroom soup, which was delicious. I had also ordered the Australian lamb which I was very excited for. But unfortunately it was overcooked and very chewy.
Hoping the next time is better.
Kimberton Inn is a local favorite! We held our rehearsal dinner at the restaurant in 2012 and it has become tradition to celebrate our anniversary there as well. The food is always spot on and there is a wonderful cocktail and wine list to choose from.
Just the best meal, service and atmosphere in the area for your meal. Great location for weddings, meeting etc. your guest will not stop talking about the food and service.
Disappointing compared to previous visits. First, we were seated in the bar area, very close to the entrance podium. People continually going back and forth right next to us. I wanted to change tables, the wife said don't make a fuss. Big mistake. There was no bread served with the meal - they wanted another $6 for some. Really?? There were no side salads offered, only $12 dinner salads. Declined. The meal itself was fine, although for an entrée with two sides, the portions left me still hungry. The wine list was limited and overpriced IMO. This was an anniversary dinner, definitely not a night to remember.
Not only was my meal fabulous, so was the service. Our server, Sean, was excellent! He was attentive but not intrusive, polite, knowledgable and had an excellent sense of humor. It has become one of my favorite places to dine especially when the fireplace is lit.
Great experience. Every time we have been here it is excellent.
The Kimberton Inn has done an excellent job of maintaining a high quality of service while adhering to the new guidelines.
Food and service was EXCELLENT!
Fantastic as always
Jeff, Jay and their staff exceed expectations as a matter of course. We need to support this restaurant to the hilt.
The Kimberton Inn is a great neighbor find and always a great place to have dinner or brunch. We have been going there for years and have never been disappointed.
Jeff and the team at The Kimberton Inn never disappoint. (That’s why they’ve been our favorite for more than 30 years!) Even in the midst of the pandemic, they’ve modified things to serve as many people as they can very safely. If you’re still uncomfortable dining out, they also do a fantastic job packing fine dining to go. I’d recommend just about anything on the menu (this time my wife had the Roasted Stoney Hill Farm Chicken Breast and I had the Jumbo Shrimp & Sea Scallop Paella), but the “Probably the Best Salad You’ll Ever Have” is definitely always a great starter. Supporting great restaurants like this at this difficult time is but one way we can each make a difference.
Wonderful food and service. Patio was nice this tome of year. Management was great and attentive. Would recommend
Excellent food and service
It just wasn’t the value thought I thought it was gonna be for how much is talked up
This was only our 3rd dining occasion at Kimberton Inn. The first was too many years ago to be relevant or offer any comparison. The 2nd was a group Christmas party in 2018 and that experience was what led us to decide this is where we wanted to celebrate our anniversary. Covid-19 precautions notwithstanding and offering no real obstacle to enjoyment, we had a wonderful evening. I regret that I do not recall the name of our waitress because she was friendly....you could see by her eyes she was smiling despite her mask...attentive and helpful with several questions about the menu and the restaurant. I asked my wife if she thought the Filet Mignon she ordered was good and she said, "No....it was GREAT"! I had the Jumbo Shrimp and Sea Scallop Paella. While I wouldn't say it rose to that "great" level it was at the same time really good and well prepared. I would not hesitate to order it again on any return visit. Through conversation with the waitress she discovered it was our wedding anniversary and our dessert plates were crafted with a celebratory message. Very nice. If I had one surprise it was that when I requested bread for the table were informed that it comes with a charge. While that was okay, it was still a new experience for me and left me wondering if other restaurants are adopting this trend. We eat out often and have not seen it before. I would close by saying the ambience offered in this wonderful dining setting is one to enjoy and would recommend to anyone.
We have eaten at the Inn many times. Every time the food is beyond compare. It is always a special night at the Kimberton Inn.
Service was on point - very attentive staff. Food was excellent . We will definitely go back but will wait until they have their regular menu
My husband and I hadn't been to Kimberton for a while and our meal on Tuesday reminded us why we keep coming back. The ambiance was perfect to celebrate my husband's new job. The pork belly appetizer was different and very tasty and of course you can't go wrong with the filet. Looking for another reason to go back ASAP!
Kimberton Inn never disappoints. This time I especially appreciated the signs on the table by the coat room❤️
This is one of my two favorite restaurants in the world
We had a good experience at Kimberton as always. Our only complaints were our food took an awful long time to come and I ordered the Filet medium rare and it came out medium. The outdoor patio was a really nice set up.
Amazing food and staff like always. !!!
Jeff and his entire staff makes you feel comfortable still during these times.
We wanted to support a local restaurant by dining and dining outside while we still can. We had not dined here in many years. It was just amazing overall. Expensive with the wine we ordered but well worth it.
We went here for the first time for my husband’s birthday dinner. There was an older man who came to our table to make sure we had a server and drinks. He recommended us a bottle of the best Pinot Noir I ever had. I also got the prime rib which was amazing. The appetizers were also pretty delicious as well which were the fried green tomatoes and pork belly. The dessert was also a hit with my husband since it was for his special day with a candle on top and writing with chocolate sauce on his dish. It was a perfect night eating on their front porch with candlelight and a heat next to us. I would definitely recommend this test to anyone who wants a night and romantic and quiet atmosphere.
