King's Fish House - Mission Valley
Great luncheon menu and luncheon experience. On a warm day, be sure to sit outside on the patio. Their clam chowder continues to be one of my favorites.
We had dinner for the first time on Sunday. Really great food and service.
Not grand gourmet but good food, good service, reasonabke prices
The yellowtail was slightly under cooked, but everything else was great.
The food is good, but not spectacular. It has a family-style atmosphere, with high-end restaurant prices.
Excellent service! Nice selction on the menu. Enjoyable and great for any occasion.
Love soft-shell crab season!
And really love that there's no corkage fee!!
We celebrated my Mom's 85th birthday and the server was AWESOME! We had a special corner spot where we enjoyed a small party of 11. We enjoyed the ambiance and food. Thank you.
Great food and service, as always.
My server was Carlos and he was not only rude when we did see him but he also didn’t even come to the table to make sure we were ok or needed anything. The busser was better than he was. I will never go back
We love this restaurant, everything about it is great!
Server was great and the food is high quality and amazing taste.
Birthday. Good for special occasions but not every day because of the pricing.
Good food, well prepared in a wharehouse atmosphere. Pricing is neither high nor low for the food value.
King's Fish House's food was very good and the server was very attentive. A bit noisy in the dining room, but was still comfortable for conversation. Would definitely go back!
This was my first visit to King Fish Market. I love seafood and King Fish Market was on my places to try. So glad we did. I am a very picky eater and almost every place I have had something come out that wasn't to my satisfaction. Well everything was satisfying here. Food was delicious. The quality and service were good. Would definitely stop by again when visiting the area.
The food was good, our server did a great job. We had used Open Table so a table would be ready when we got there, but when we got there we were told it would be at least 20 to 25 minutes unless we were okay with eating outside.
food is always good and consistent and the Macadamia nut crusted halibut is a winner!
Very friendly and attentive staff. Super fresh seafood
Both entrees were in dire need of seasoning, and if it wasn’t for the sauce, the bread pudding we had for dessert wouldn’t have had any flavor. We expected better food for the money we paid for the meal.
Fresh seafood done right with great service and pet friendly patio area.
Kings is consistently great! We always order mussels. Lobster with clambake is one of their best dishes. Surprising fact- steaks here are very good!
The quality of the seafood here is always excellent, but the best thing about dining here is the service. I scheduled a birthday dinner here for my family and our 88 year old cognitively impaired mother. Our server could not have been more patient and attentive.
Love the soft-shell crab piccata. In season only.
As always great food, excellent service
The food is always great! Tonight though the food was alittle cold and it took forever to get our food!!! It wasn’t even busy
The food was really good and my crab legs were amazing. Service was good but it did take a while to actually get the food, close to an hour after we got there which with two high energy little ones seemed like it was an eternity.
Excellent service and excellent food!!! I love fresh oysters!
Great place for fresh in season seafood. Comfortable atmosphere and great service.
I love to come here for celebrations. XLNT food for a special occasion.
This was our first visit to King's Fish House and definitely won't be our last. The meal was incredible an the server was fantastic as well.
Baked mussels are my new addiction. The sashimi is incredibly fresh, very pleasant meal.
We’ve had trouble with King’s Fish b4 but we thought we’d give it another try. Bad move😝.
There were 6 of us. The service was VERY SLOW...we waited over 1/2 hr for our food...there were more empty tables than not. Our waitress did not seem very knowledgeable about several questions we asked . I never got my baked potato...one of my friends had to send her dinner back ‘cuz it was cold. All in all, it was a bad experience. We will certainly NOT go back. We’ve been to this restaurant many many times. The last 2-3 times something went wrong with someone’s meal. Adios, king’s Fish👎🏻. Brigantine, here we come!!!
Extensive menu, wonderful salads and fresh seafood. Something for everyone. Great place for lunch or dinner either with friends or for business. Attentive service, quiet so you can have a conversation without raising your voice, lovely decor. Nice room for events. Also lots of free parking, which is a plus.
Celebrating 2 Birthday’s
Our group of eight was seated in a private room, which was perfect because we were having a meeting in addition to lunch. It was quiet enough that we could all hear each other, which had been a problem in other restaurants. The food was very good, and was brought fairly quickly after we ordered. Unfortunately, our server didn't check on us often enough to refill beverages, or take orders from late comers. Poor/slow service was our only complaint.
Everything was great except the mashed potatoes. Wouldn’t recommend that for sure. Our waitress had to pull out a cheat sheet when I asked what she would recommend for the raw oysters. Felt maybe she doesn’t eat oysters & just got the advice from someone else? Still good though! Would come back & definitely would recommend. Thank you!
Nice evening out for Father’s Day. Plenty of space and tables available. Service was slow but great staff. We enjoyed our time. Food was good. I would go back. Bit pricey for other comparable restaurants.
I had grilled & blackened swordfish. It was superb!
Everything was good . We’ve been there before. A bit pricey.
