Kyma - Atlanta
Food was average at best, way over priced for the lack of taste.
Great as usual ! One of my favorite restaurants in town.
Literally a perfect dining experience, start to finish. Our server (I forget your name, you sweet angel I am sorry! It was 6:30-8:30ish on Thursday.) was insanely gifted- he made appropriate suggestions, was knowledgeable beyond belief, and showed restraint instead of upselling just for the sake of upselling. I wanted this to be a true celebration of my pal and it absolutely was. I will be dreaming about our food foreverrrr and bragging about the experience to everyone, as soon as people aren’t terrified of spending all their money again. Worth every single cent!
We both ordered the $34 Meza plate. We also ordered a few extra side items. Everything was delicious! Especially the beet salad! We love Kyma!!
Excellent experience! As always Patrick made our experience one of a kind
Celebration of our daughter’s 50th birthday
Great food and great service. Our third time eating at Kyma. Will be back.
Our waiter was very attentive and prompt in all areas. The Lamb chops were outstanding! Will definitely recommend!
As always the food was top notch. Had octopus salad and shared the lamp pie and dolomites. Had the lamb this time instead of fish as usual. Our waitress seemed to be covering more than her share of tables and lacked a bit in service. She was pleasant however. She told us bread was on the way and had to remind her it had not arrived but she had it over immediately. Will be back again as it is one of our favorite restaurants in Atlanta.
Made my reservations weeks in advance and was seated at a horrible table near the bar where I got bumped into half a dozen times by bus boy and waiters. Food was marginal at best. This is the third time I've been here since they opened nearly twenty years ago, and the third time I've been disappointed. Keep giving them another chance. However, I'm done with them. Never again.
We only had to wait 5-10 minutes to be seated one we arrived for our reservation. Once seated our head waiter was prompt in explaining the menu and specials. There were a few misses on the delivery of our initial courses (brought wrong flavor Maza, and brought Octpus twice instead of Octpus and Lobster Morsels) The salads were spot on. The main course crab spaghetti was amazing and my wife got the halibut but it was delivered in 2 small bowls. Not too sure if we got a double serving or they ran out of clean dishes. :)
The surprise of the night is that the waiter saw the note of it being a delayed Valentines Day celebration and brought us out a comp desert that said "Happy Valentines Day" which made us forget all of the earlier misses.
We were given a fabulous table in the main dining room. Our server, Niko, was so attentive without being intrusive. He k we about each of the dishes and made excellent recommendations. The food was amazing!!! My favorite restaurant in Atlanta!
The food here is top notch, from the appetizers to the entrees. The fish is fresh and very well prepared.
For dessert the greek yogurt with honey is amazing as are the doughnuts
Much more than what I expected / I already referred several people
Very original. Excellent menu and service. An absolute favorite in Atlanta!
We were three diners and each ordered the $49 menu of four spreads, three appetizers, and shared a whole fish main course. The fish size was adjusted to feed three. We enjoyed a wonderful moussaka, fried mussels, and grilled octopus to start followed by delicious Arctic Char. Our server was excellent. After ordering drinks and two desserts, the total cost rose ,with tax and tip ,to about $220 and was well worth it.
As always wonderful ambience, great service, friendly and professional staff.
Great food, best fish in ATL !
Service horrible server forgot and took a long time
Kyma is always amazing. We love dining here.
The vegan menu needs work. Ordered the grilled eggplant which was basically A few slices of eggplant on bulgur. Not tasty and not creative in any way. It was definitely not worth the money.
The fish is fresh but all prepared the same. I thought the menu just lacked creativity.
We had a app dishes for 3 For dinner. Each plate really tasty, but didn’t leave stuffed. I love being able to try multiple dishes. This was a great way to do that. A bit pricey which is not a surprise.
Omg.... I can't get enough of Kyma! The food, the service, the atmosphere everything is well put together. Our 2nd time going for our anniversary and never a disappointed.
The finest dining experience I’ve ever had. The most unique taste and flavors I have ever experienced. Service was impeccable, my servers name was Jacob and he went out of his way to make sure any and everything my wife and I desired was at our fingertips. My wife drinks beer and they did serve her flavor at this restaurant. He even went outside across the street to another restaurant to get the beer that she loves. We had an eight course Valentines menu meal and I will never forget the dining experience, the service, the ambience that we got to experience. We even had, in our opinion, the best seat in the house for our reservation.
Great atmosphere; our waiter made us feel like we were the only table he had. Our waiter also suggested marvelous wines to go with appetizers and our dinner. Wonderful birthday dessert on the house. Lights were low, which is another reason it felt like we were our server's only table.
An excellent Valentine's Day pre fixe dinner
I requested to do something special for my wife. They were very accommodating, to everything I asked was executed perfectly by our waiter, and my wife can't stop talking about how much she enjoyed herself... I Highly recommend Kyma Buckhead, it was as amazing experience thanks.
Loved the food and ambience server was excellent. My only gripe was on a Valentine's Day pre fixe menu we got upcharged an extra 26$ for things ordered off the menu, including 10$ for the Dover sole for 2. Why? Seems 194$ should have covered it, or at least extra charges should have been disclosed. So, great food but I'm not sure it was worth over 200$.
One of the best restaurants I have ever been too. I had three appetizers. The lamb pie was spectacular! Grilled octopus was great and the fried lobster was OK. We couldn't get much of the lobster taste after it was fried. For our main course we had the Salmon and Steak entree'. The salmon as amazing. Steak was great, but just like other good steakhouses. We were there for Valentines and it was a fixed menu with a fixed price. The only part that was disappointing was when we received our bill. We got charged extra for the steak and the lobster. We paid $300 for the dinner and it was worth it. I would just appreciate if I knew that I am getting charged extra beforehand. Beside that, we had an amazing experience and enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommend it.
Excellent food & service! Had an opportunity to meet and talk with Panos! The best chief in Atlanta!!!
Great place for a date night. Good ambiance, great food. Staff is really good. Little pricey, so you will have to open the checkbook. Everything there is done superbly.
Valentines Day. Charmng
Valentine's menu was excellent and despite the crowd food service was great too.
The food, service, and ambiance, including a short visit with Chef Panos, was outstanding! Can’t wait for our next visit.
Great ambience, friendly and helpful staff, small plates, great food. A bit pricy but worth it.
Food was exceptional and a great out of the box (for me) experience. We liked it very much and can't wait to go back to try more menu items. I do believe it would be better with a large group of friends than just the two of us.
The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
The waiter was hurried and rushed. He did not take time to adequate give explanations about the menu. The delivery of the food was timely, however, and the food itself was outstanding.
