La Cave - Wynn Las Vegas
We enjoyed the wonderful tapas at La Cave. The restaurant was beautiful and service excellent. We'll be happy to visit again in the future.
Such a beautiful restaurant. We attended for my 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. Great food, great service. There was something for everyone. Had a wonderful evening
I specified it was my wife birthday On the reservation I guess they don’t do anything for birthday. Well that’s too bad. Overpriced everything, I don’t mind paying but don’t rip me off. Well that’s what i get for going to the strip. I should have just went to the show and eat off the strip. Food was average nothing special. Server was ok. We got all the appetizers before our drinks.
Well what a waste of $300 for 2 people
Went for a da
Love this place! Great ambiance, food and wine list!!
Nice upscale atmosphere. The back room of the dinning area has a great view of the courtyard & the Highroller lit at night. Portions are small but to be expected in a tapas style restaurant so if you're hungry you'll need more than the staff recommended 2 plates per person.
Wanted it to be great, but it was barely mediocre. Scallops were the best dish by far, all others were not very flavorful at all. Wicker chairs—cut my hand on a sharp wicker edge trying to move the chair, and the chair itself was totally off-balance..not the greatest stage-setter. Service staff were very cordial, but not attentive unless asked.. but server assistants were on the ball. Never been there before, but it seemed like an off-night.. We wouldn’t try again coupled with previous comments and that we had to yell at each other to have a conversation with the place half full (we’re in our early 30s).
To start with, they ran out of “ regular” olives for my martini. Really...you run out of olives in Las Vegas? Second, they are not staffed well enough for what they are trying to accomplish. Third, the food quality was underwhelming to say the least and over priced. Fourth, no salt & pepper on the table, the meal felt more like a hit and run, than a nice evening out.
Great food and very fast and courteous service. My favorite was the kale salad with the almond dressing!
Food, service and ambiance was amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend to my friends.
Fabulous meal. Great small plates for sharing so you can get a variety. Loved all our choices.
Way too noisy if you're trying to talk with other guests, and the quality of food is not worth the prices. I'm a regular guest at the Wynn, and have eaten at La Cave a couple years ago. Unfortunately, I will not return. There are far better places in the Wynn and on the strip to eat.
The place was empty, we were at their last reservation time, we got there 16 min late because we took a while to find the place. The hostess didn’t want to take us because we were late, but the manager said yes. Spectacular food and the ambience was amazing too
Always a wonderful experience. A must go to when in town
If you're looking forward to a quiet evening catching up and talking with friends, this is NOT the place to be. The music is way too loud! If you are in for a loud evening, make sure more than 2 are in your group or you will be seated in the bar area overlooking a luxurious lounge that you're not allowed to move into unless you're with a large group. We didn't have a chance to taste the food because we left in search of a quiet setting.
Overall a good experience; would be nice if they passed the brunch food starting from different areas, else they ran out before getting to many folks on more than one occasion.
Food was good except for the skewers which were very bland. Very pricey - more so than any other Tapas restaurant I have been to but this is Vegas. Don't get wine unless you want to pay minimum $70 per bottle. Service was fantastic.
Fantastic food - went back the next day for more.
Short Rib Tacos & Beef Carpaccio are outstanding. Staff is very friendly and professional.
Amazing! Beautiful space. Every course was better than the last. We took the servers advice and orderd 2 dishes per person to share family style. We had a little of everything and no regrets. Menu was varied and alcohol menu was extensive.
The only redeeming quality about this place was our lovely waitress and was they surprised me with a Birthday Dessert which I was not expecting. The dessert was by far the best part of the meal!
Tasty food and good service. Very nice atmosphere. Good small plate menu choices.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Great. Perfect for a quiet supper!
Food was fantastic. Service was great.
7 of us.
Loved the table but the bucket seats were impracticable to eat from
We were very impressed with our dining experience at La Cave. The atmosphere was beautiful and surprisingly quiet for Las Vegas. The living walls made you feel like you were in a garden. For a party of two, we split the Kale salad (with Gorgonzola cheese instead of goat), the Bacon Dates, the Buffalo Short Rib tacos and the Sea Bass. It was plenty for us and everything was delicious. We each had a glass of wine and they were about $20 each but all the food came to less than $80 which is reasonable for this quality food and dining at the Wynn in Las Vegas. We would definitely come back here.
Ate there twice while at a meeting
Great both times
Food was excellent. Great place for having cocktail and sharing some of the amazing appetizers and other menu options. Meatballs and bacon wrapped dates are must!
We were First timers but will be repeat diners. “Butler style buffet” simply is that waiters bring all the food and repeated items you’d otherwise have to keep getting for yourself at a regular buffet. It’s like a churrascaria (Fogo de Chao or Via Brasil) Brazilian steakhouses- food keeps coming over while you sit & (over)indulge.
Jeremy, Omar and Ryan (aka Cesar) Trujillo we’re exceptional and didn’t miss a beat in providing superlative service, suggestions and attentive focus for a member of our party with allergies.
I would VERY STRONGLY recommend La Cave to family and friends. In fact, I've already done so. My wife and I immensely enjoyed the fare, service and ambience of this hidden jewel in the Wynn casino. If you haven't been to this place, you have got to check it out. It has a Mediterranean palate with Basque food in both the entrees and the appetizers. The portions are small, but filling. The drink menu is deep for both beer and wine and the staff is extremely cooperative and knowledgeable about making recommendations and sample tastes.
I cannot say enough good about La Cave. The whole experience was on another level, and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. Miss Chloe was an outstanding hostess and Miss Amber was an excellent and professional manager. Her entire crew, about four or so servers were there, enthusiastically but not exuberantly, to fill our every need. We have been recommended to return for brunch. We will be doing so.
First time visit this past Friday. Food was subpar - chicken was dry and not very hot, meatballs were not very tasty and kale salad was okay.
Service was a mixed bag - either two people at a time or no one for a while.
It wasn’t busy, it was later afternoon. Nice setting, other areas need work.
Meeting up with a friend - we both in Vegas for business. Enjoyed a $400 bottle of red with a beautiful charcuterie spread - the honey was a bit sparse but when I asked for more they didn’t hesitate. And then the scallops were PERFECTLY cooked and well ... a perfect beautiful experience and most amazing view of the Highroller and beautiful swing chairs beside us to enjoy after. ONLY bad thing was that the restrooms were quite a ways away from the restaurant. In nice heels no woman wants to leave the restaurant to powder her nose or use the restroom services.
We were at a trade show and wanted a nice place to chat and enjoy wine & a light meal.
Everything was perfect!
I was on a girls trip to alas Vegas recently and we ate dinner at La Cave at the Wynn. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We had such a wonderful time and the atmosphere was perfect! I’ll definitely go back!
I have been here a number of times and it is always great. This is a low key place at the Wynn/Encore, but the food is just excellent. I like the small plates and trying all the different dishes is so much fun and especially enjoyable when the food is this good!
We loved the ambiance, great for a romantic date. But the food let us down. The steak was very chewy, not what I would expect for the $$.
This was my second time for brunch at La Cave. I came back for the weekend brunch which is served butler style. The food is excellent and the service is amazing. This is a great place for group get together and the bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s help to make that much more fun.
Excellent food. Everything other than the flatbread was delicious
Food amazing......great atmosphere!
Fabulous! The service, food, cocktails and ambiance were all wonderful. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant in the Wynn resort!
