Always an enjoyable experience at this restaurant & I was hesitant about indoor dining during this time, but saw how they removed tables for safety

First of all this place violates every COVID protocol— tables are to close together and was packed to capacity on Saturday by 6:30. Including allowing two women to occupy a table and order no food just alcohol. I have already contacted the health department. Now——service was awful , drinks were weak ( what a waste of a Belmar liquor license) and food was flavorless and cold. Quarantining for 14 days felt very unsafe for the fist time since dining out resumed!! This place should be closed down.

La Dolce Vita is a regular spot for us to eat when we are in the area. It has great Italian food and we have never been disappointed with our meal or service.

Situated on the Ocean - this restaurant offers extensive menu selections. Of course its a Summertime favorite, but its just as good off season. Reserve here to have a really nice dinner and bottle of wine, among all the beautiful Christmas decorations. Delicious Italian food and great service. I had the long hots and sausage app, eggplant rollotini, escarole and beans, and linguini and clams, fresh fish, and so much more!

It was just a girl’s Christmas lunch. It was my first experience but it won’t b my last. Everything was very very nice. I throughly enjoyed it.

food was less than acceptable. Cod sandwich was made with frozen foodservice prepared battered cod just like you can buy from Trident Foods in the frozen food section of Costco! Fries were also foodservice frozen battered fries! A restaurant should make things FRESH! I could have gotten a better sandwich and fries at Arby's

Awesome food and a festive holiday setting - Can't be missed

Excellent meal and service! I haven't been here in about 10 years but glad I came back. Everything we had (mussels, branding, veal saltimbocca) was very good. Our waiter knew how to serve too. We didn't feel rushed at all yet the timing was perfect. Will definitely come back.

Food was excellent and server very attentive. They had live music with a soloist guitar. Very nice. Appetizers were good. Long hot peppers as advertised (HOT). Pasta dishes were excellent as I had fettuccine dolce vita my wife had a orecchiette. Both excellent and large portions (took 1/2 home).

Always awesone food service & ambience! So thankful they are still around despite this pandemic! Everything is delish!

Sat outside on sidewalk which was our request, so it was not a typical dining experience since most were inside. Menu for lunch uninspiring and Food was mediocre. Calamari had no tentacles and for some reason was laid on top of the sauce rather than it be on the side. Hey the setting was nice right across from the beach.

The female bar tender in the area near the shared entrance did not wear her mask at time walked to other areas outside the bar area without mask . She had her fingers in her mouth and played with her long hair and continue d to make and serve drinks

I requested our waiter George who is excellent to personal make our bar drink and he did.

We had the best table in the place. On the corner in the sun. Food, drinks, atmosphere was fantastic.

Kept a timely reservation. Mateo was a great waiter. Our food came out hot and there was no wait. We will definitely return.

Alway consistently good- this night the waiter-seemed overwhelmed or inexperienced ( which I never have encountered here) and the noice leaves was so loud due to a party in the back room which made our dining less than enjoyable.

The older woman who was hostessing could not have been ruder from the second we walked in. Luckily a sweet waitress helped make up for it, but likely won’t be back anytime soon.

Very expensive for Italian food. Too many people packed into a small space during COVID times. Tables were moved while we were already seated to make room for additional diners. Noise was loud as there was one big party. Big parties should all be put in same room and not seated throughout the restaurant. I think their seating plans need to be updated to be more COVID conscious. If there are 4 groups of 2, why put a table of 10 in the middle of them? Use the porch or La Terraza for all big parties always.

Food and service is always excellent. Room is too crowded and noisy. Server, Matteo, was exceptional. Served timely. Place is great other than noise and being overcrowded.

Bartender never returned with change. Bill 12.00 given 20.00. So took over 50% for his tip

Dinner server over extended. Did his best. Bill delivered and 1/2 hour passed. Had to ask hostess to take the money

Server extremely kind and never complained. He was responsible for too many people and no one helped him

Chilean Sea Bass was excellently

Just had one night in Belmar and tried La Dolce Vita on a recommendation: it did not disappoint! Excellent server, comfortable setting, very good seafood and delicious dessert, fair pricing, and a varied menu. Would definitely go back.

Amazing as always. Gallina was outstanding and the food was superb.

We’re were a group of four women and chose the early dining menu. It’s easier to split the costs when selecting from pre-fixe menu. Overall the food and service was very good. Two chose soup, two salad. The Italian wedding soup was flavorful and delicious. For entrees, two selected chicken piccata and two eggplant Parmesan with a side of pasta. The chicken looked delicious, I selected the eggplant. The eggplant was good, but I thought the breading was a little thick in proportion to the thickness of the eggplant, however, I devoured it all. La Dolce Vita makes a delicious red sauce. For dessert our server brought us a mini cannoli. The service was attentive and not rushed.

We had a very good meal with friends on Sat night. Our server was excellent. I had my favorite the La Dolce Vita Fettucine with chicken and it was delicious. It is a huge portion - enough for 4 people I would say. BF had the Pasta Fagioli and Pasta Bolognese both which were very good. A little loud but it was crowded and it was a Saturday night.

The food is outstanding; The carpaccio salad was delicious, and the stuffed salmon full of flavor. Tiramisu, often underwhelming at other restaurants, was fresh and tasty.

Not sure if they were short wait staff,but the service was lacking. Nonetheless I will return for the fantastic food.

I had a miss last night I ordered the Orecchiette which I had 2 other times that was great!!! last night it was very bland because there was hardly any broccoli rabe an tiny little sausage pieces the size of a fingernail there was nice amount and good size shrimp but the dish was tasteless. I did not want to complain because it was celebration dinner with my wife and daughter
