We went for an early dinner and the service and food were excellent. It never disappoints us.

There was no indication that there was a special Easter menu, which was disappointing.
My 2 adult children ordered the short ribs which were sold out @ 6:30. It was not a special, it was on the menu. Another disappointment, especially since the Easter menu was extremely limited.

Enjoyed our dinner very much, service was a little slow.

We had a mixed reaction to dinner, my lasagna was delicious, my husbands dinner was not what he ordered. Could have been a better experience had it been resolved that night, we brought the problem to the attention of the waitress but nothing was done. No manager in sight as we departed. Owner reached out and offered to reimburse the cost of the dinner my husband was unable to eat due to his dietary restrictions which we made plain to the server, but he did not follow through. We have had a home in sea isle for 30 years and have dined here frequently; disappointed in this whole experience and will dine elsewhere in the future.

My wife wife and I eat there often. Food is excellent and consistent. Service is traditionally very good except in the busiest summer months. Eat outside if you can as it’s pretty noisy inside.

I've eaten here in the past and enjoyed my previous dining experiences. However, this time, I was quite disappointed. We had a 6 pm reservation on a Saturday night and it was packed - inside and out. I thought it was strange due to the pandemic. The service was fine. The food was ok. I was disappointed as I ordered a special that ended up costing $42. I don't think it was worth that amount. There was nothing special about it. I will have to think twice about returning back.

Love La Fontana Coast! You have to try the Grilled Octopus and Vitello Alla Fontana. Prices are reasonable and service is always great! Plus it's a BYOB. Ask for Angelo he is the best!

Seafood risotto was absolutely delicious. Creamy and tasty

We had a large group of 8, it was the first time at this restaurant for 6 of us. Ages 21-62. When we were seated early in the evening (5:15) the restaurant was not crowded and spacing between seated customers was acceptable.

Suggestion: The owner should diligently manage reservations and the number of people they are seating inside the restaurant during these terrible Covid times. They were 100% not adhering to CDC restrictions. By the time we were done our dinner, it appeared that every table inside the restaurant was full. Excluding one table next to us. I kindly asked the owner if he would not seat anyone at that table when we were there and he politely agreed. The tables were not spaced out with the standard 6’ spacing. We assumed they would be using every other table. By the time we left we realized how crowded the restaurant was we were very upset.

There was a group women next to us who were celebrating very loudly throughout their entire meal and that prevented our table from hearing each other and trying to have a pleasant conversation. But thats just life.

The food and service were wonderful. Everything was delicious. The owner is charming. Hopefully they will be more aware of COVID guidelines and following them. I would come back to this restaurant but only to eat outside or some time in the future when things are “ normal”.

There were tables and heaters set up outside and it was about 35 degrees, and dropping. When we were leaving there was one outside table that had dedicated customers.

Anniversary dinner

Valentines. Way too many people in La Fontana Coast. With our reservation, we went across the street to Fratellis, same owners. Had a wonderful meal and were able to eat from the La Fontana coast menu and have an amazing pizza, with plenty of space. La Fontana finds a way to accommodate. Love that about them.

Great food and friendly staff. I got the gnocchi this time and it was amazing! Highly recommend the brussels sprouts as well. It is BYO so don't forget a bottle of red!

Great food! Restaurant was packed. We actually had to take seating across the street because of the amount of people. Nonetheless the Food and Service was great.... must be the reason why it was so busy.

Had a long wait even with a reservation- very unorganized!

We went to La Fontana Coast on Valentine's Day. We were happy to be able to get in last minute with party of four.

Good: The food decent and the prices fair.

Bad: It was extremely crowded. I find it doubtful they were Covid compliant for spacing but we chose to stay so that is on us. Our waitress was kind but they were definitely at max capacity and service stretched thin. Again understandable given the day. I chose to tip (21%) in cash and put dinner on my card. When I checked my statement 2 days later I found that there was an additional $20 added. I called the owner regarding the charge. He sounded a bit annoyed but said he would credit the unauthorized tip with barely an apology. To date the credit still has not been applied. Expect a decent dinner at a fair price but either pay in cash or make sure to check your statement.

Would like to go back and try this restaurant again when it isn’t so crazy. We went on Valentine’s Day and it was hard to enjoy our evening because of all the people and staff rushed us.

Had another great meal at La Fontana Coast on 1/18. Since it was a Monday night in the winter, the restaurant wasn't too crowded - just right. Angelo did a great job of serving everyone in the restaurant. When we finished our dinner, Angelo brought out creme brulee with a candle and sang a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday!

We will continue to dine at this shore restaurant! Thanks, Angelo!

They had outside hearters which allowed to eat outside - what a lovely surprise. Were kept warm and very enjoyable. Menu was from New Year's Eve - I wanted to order off of regular menu on Saturday, Jan 2. Shrimp risotto was ok.

Angelo was outstanding server! We had a delicious meal and loved the atmosphere with our own favorite bottle of red wine. First time and we return for sure!
