The whole evening was perfect! Our server was timely, polite, and informative. Great value. Will be going back as often as I can before the cold weather hits! (Patio people due to Covid).

We often bring friends to Ka Fresca who have never heard of it before. They are always amazed how fabulous and affordable is this neighborhood gem and will definitely return. Starting with the perfect guacamole and homemade chips and moving on to many seafood options, beef ribs, tacos and other interesting and delicious entrees the flavors are delicious. The outdoor dining area is great and he staff is very helpful. Wonderful margaritas too!

Until it's too cold this patio dining experience in a quiet south Minneapolis neighborhood should definitely be on your target list of restaurants to enjoy as we work our way back to some sort of pre-Covid normalcy. Always a wonderful little restaurant it's especially to be enjoyed now. And tip well.

I was here once before, in the fall of 2019. This is my second time here and I absolutely love it. The food, the ambience, and the service. A terrific restaurant and I’m glad I chose this as my date night spot with my wife, our first date night out since the time COVID hit in March.

Quality of food has declined over the previous years. My wife's dish was not as described in the menu. The grouper that I had was meh. Good cocktails.

Always a great meal. We had dinner on the patio. Tables were nicely spaced for covid. Service was prompt. A neighborhood gem.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service, it's small restaurants like this, if we enjoy them, we must support them, now more than ever, otherwise they will become memories. You can tell they take pride and you can't help to love a place like La Fresca.

The interior could use a livlier vibe, maybe some music to make it seem busier. the service overall was good and the server was very nice.
I'm pretty sure they used a frozen bag of peas and carrots in their rice though. I expected hand cut/fresh veggies.

This was our first time at La Fresca. We've traditionally gone to Rincon 38 for the last 5 years on our anniversary and happened to drive by La Fresca a couple of weeks ago and when I Googled it, I found out it was a sister restaurant to Rincon 38!
We decided to switch it up this year and it was amazing! High quality food and service as well as great margaritas/other drinks. Everything we had was good, but I think next time I may go with a bunch of appetizers vs an entree so I can try more food. The Mariscos De Calavacitas was one of the best appetizers I've ever had in my life - unbelievable.
Can't wait for our return!

Great food on a peaceful, but lively patio. Perfect outing for pandemic dining.

Friendly service, went there with my Twin Cities passport to get a 2 for 1 margarita - yummy!! The tostadas were fantastic and could have been a meal on it's own.

The food was quite tasty! Service was not consistent with lack of attention by wait staff. I think they were training in new staff and getting accustomed to the COVID-19 environment.

Seriously amazing tacos! Perfect hand-made tortillas. Absolutely worth $5 a piece. Also had the Tegroni, a barrel aged tequila negroni that was delicious. Will definitely go back.

This is a fantastic neighborhood gem of true Mexican food. The food you will find in a coastal town on the Pacific. -- Not the cheese-drenched Texmex of America. Perfectly done fish with fantastic flavor and creative sides. Loved LaFresca.
