Our first time back here since COVID began and it did not disappoint! The branzino was a delicious as ever and the halibut special should be put on the menu!

Great service and the most amazing snail salad. My chicken dinner special was not what I expected but our waiter brought out a delightful dessert tray to make up for it.

The food was incredible, my boyfriend and I found everything to be delicious and well worth the price.

Perhaps the best gnocchi I've ever head. Little pillows in a truffle cream sauce.

Food was not that great and not worth the price tag. Atmosphere was nice. Service was great.

Everything was wonderful! New waiter Mark did an outstanding job. Food was delicious and table up stair by the window was lovely.

Really Bad Experience
 
First, the food was very good. BUT it was completely overshadowed by how badly we were treated by our server Tim.
 
The evening started fine, but from the time our food was delivered to when we left, we barely saw our server. Half way through eating our entrees, we finally flagged down the water server to find Tim to order a glass of wine.  We tried eating slowly but the wine took so long that we were almost completely finished. When it did come, by way of another server, it came in carafes with no wine glasses. So, back to the bar for wine glasses. Once we were finished with our wine, we just wanted to get out of there. But no! We had to wait some more, to find Tim to get our check. Then after waiting some more to have someone pick up our credit cards, I brought the check up to the desk and told them that I’d like to them to take care of this so that we could just leave. In the end, Tim got the gratuity that we felt he deserved.  And the water server got the rest, since he was so attentive.
 
In case you are wondering how they are currently handling COVID 19 – I had to pass through the dining room next to the bar to get to the restroom. I felt that the people were far too close to one another and many were just standing in the open area next to them as they waited for tables. Two of these tables had 8 and 10 people at them! Other than the fact that there were plexiglass dividers in some places, you would never know that we were still in the middle of a pandemic.
 
There are too many wonderful restaurants in Rhode Island to support.  We won’t go back.

This was our first time at La Masseria. Now we have a favorite restaurant in EG! The food was fresh and delicious. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. Jake provided excellent service. We will be back often.

The food was great, the staff was very nice and fun to be around. Will go back for sure.

The food was subpar to prior experiences. The food was not what we expected one dish was merely a pile of various meats in sauce without even a bed of rice or anything. My wife had what should have been chicken Milanese and it wasn’t very good no flavor no sauce or anything.

This restaurant is really nice inside and everyone is super friendly but unfortunately the service was slow and the food was subpar at best. Our meal was very expensive too $380 for two people (with tip). There are much better restaurants in the area for a lot less money. Will not go back nor would I recommend.

In the midst of the pandemic, but with hope for normalcy on the near RI horizon; we treated ourselves to an indoor lunch before getting our COVID vaccines. Masseria did not disappoint. As always, the Italian fare was superb and much better than at other purportedly Italian restaurants in the state. Perhaps a strange list of wines by the glass, but we found a decent white to enjoy with our meal. Atmosphere a good fit for the food: traditional, understated and excellent.

This was our first time here and we were not wowed! Although food was delicious it lacked on presentation. It also took a while for our drinks to be made! I’m hoping it was because we came the day after Valentine’s Day and I know the restaurant was out of some things! We will be back

Mediocre food at an exorbitant price. Service poorly coordinated and made uncomfortable with a social faux pas. Too many exceptional restaurants so have no plan to return.

Best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life. Great atmosphere great food. Love that they carry Jack London Cabernet.

Always delicious food and helpful, efficient service. One of our favorites!

It was extremely loud, extremely packed with people on top of each other. Staff had their masks pulled down under their chin, exposing nose and mouth. Not happy with experience at all.

Party of 2 -we each had veal, although different dishes - one from the menu and one the special. Neither had any flavor. Perhaps just the veal is not very good. Our appetizer was the meat and cheese selection which was fine. The service was outstanding - excellent waitstaff. But, not anxious to return

Local favorite. We love going there doe dinner. We love the staff who are always friendly.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at La Masseria. Our meal was delicious and Richardo our server was very attentive to our needs. Will be going again soon.
