Our experiences going to 1700 is always too notch and the service is impeccable. From the time you walk to the hostess stand, you are greeted with a bright smile, to the wait staff that serves the delicious courses with knowledge and a sincere kindness that always makes you feel welcomed. Rob and Mark are two waiters that go out of their way to make your dinner feel special every time we go. Highly recommended for a good time or a special evening.

The restaurant was very slow on a Thursday but the food and drinks were good. Tried the Bao buns and they were very good, tried the waygu sliders and they were good but needed a sauce. For the main course I had the Pork Tonkatsu with risotto which seems like an odd combo but wa the best thing I ate there.

Brussels Sprouts appetizer was tasty. I had the Tavern chicken sandwich with Cole slaw. Very good My wife had the lobster roll which she also enjoyed. She had their lager which she liked. Service was quick, food was hot, really nothing at all to fault.

This was the best meal we have had at an in-hotel restaurant in many years. Well Done!

Our first experience at this restaurant will definitely NOT be our last. We arrived early so decided to stop at the bar for a drink. We were met by Lindsey, the bartender. She was very nice, made good conversation, shared her favorites from the dinner menu. We did have reservations for 7:00 in the dining room, but we did not need them on this night. The weather here had just been horrible with torrential rain and storms for two straight days. I think this kept a lot of people from coming out. We were greeted by Mark, who was our server. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgable about the menu and very very attentive. He definitely made our dining experience more enjoyable. Now the food. The food was beyond delicious. We started with the Beef Carpaccio, which was delicious. We had the Bread basket, and honestly, I could have made that my meal with a glass of wine. We had the Nonna's Pasta and the Rigatoni with leg of lamb and beef short rib ragu. Both were absolutely delicious. The portions are large, we each had leftovers enough for dinner the next night. So get out there and try this wonderful hidden gem inside the Penn Harris Hotel in Camp Hill. We cannot wait to go back.
