Triggers broom were brilliant. Service was pleasant, steak was okay

We thought the quality of the food was very good,the service from the staff was also first class. I would recommend the Stag to anybody wanting a slightly different very good experience

Last minute booking as passing by but very glad we did. The food was amazing value for money at such high quality. Simple menu but presented wonderfully. I have had afternoon tea there previously which was equally exceptional but pleased to say the rest of menu just as good. Can’t wait to return next time in Cumbria : )

Nice atmosphere, great service and food sublime, halloumi fries and teriyaki chicken to start, then steak burger, and 2 rump fillets cooked on stones, quality is second to none, the toffee sundae, sticky toffee pudding and white chocolate cheesecake, really enjoyable evening, will definitely return
