Loved our dinner at the Queen's Hotel, lovely surroundings, friendly efficient staff and the meals were superb. Next time we're in Gladstone we'll be back.

We chose Rocksalt for my birthday dinner, and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was outstanding all night—friendly, attentive and professional, without ever feeling over the top. We started with the spring rolls and the three-cheese mushrooms, both of which were delicious. For our mains, we had the steak and the duck à l’orange with vegetables. Everything was cooked beautifully, full of flavour, and presented with care. We finished with the crème brûlée and sticky date pudding, which were both excellent. The biggest surprise came when the staff brought out a complimentary share plate of tiramisu with a sparkler for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really topped off a wonderful evening. The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a special occasion or simply a nice meal out. It’s always a pleasure to support local businesses that clearly take pride in what they do. Thank you to the whole team at Rocksalt for helping make my birthday so special. We’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Delicious Food and drinks. Good prices. Staff were great and accommodated more than our original 16person booking. Would recommend!
