Our inspiration comes from the town of Chapala, one of the beautiful cities that surrounds the largest lake in Jalisco, Mexico. Our authentic cuisine originates from our family recipes from the central and coastal regions of Mexico; Mainly the states of Zacatecas and Jalisco. Together with our extended family and staff, we strive to create a genuine traditional Mexican experience. We offer over 200 tequilas and other agave distilled spirits. From our family to yours, buen provecho and muchas gracias. We welcome our guests with a heartfelt greeting, as we say in Mexico: “Mi casa es su casa.”

    Wonderful experience as always at Red Ash! We had chef counter seats where we got to see the expertise of the chefs and all the amazing dishes. As far as our personal experience, the service, atmosphere, and food was 10/10. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and had a passion for her job. We had the tagliolini with fresh blue crab, the tuna crudo, the San Daniele, and panna cotta. The tagilioni is the best dish we have had there with plenty of crab and great flavors of lemon, cream, and spicy breadcrumbs. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Can’t wait to go back! Makes for the perfect date, family gathering, happy hour with friends, special occasion. :)

    It's been over 20 years since I'd been to a Brazilian Steakhouse (Fogo de Chao in Chicago) partly because I don't usually eat red meat anymore, but this was a treat. Chuffed to see this pop up in Bastrop. I may not have quite as elaborate a salad bar as the bigger restaurants, but the value is undeniable, and everything was delicious. Only thing I might change was the cheesy bread were more like firm biscuits rather than the soft chewy ones I remember, but just a different style.

    Absolutely amazing. We had the garlic hummus, the watermelon and tuna salad, and the crabcakes. All three were absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful inside and outside so regardless of where you sit, it’s going to be a wonderful experience.
