Excellent experience at The Ferry Inn. The welcome from the staff was lovely. We were seated looking out over the river which was relaxing. The food was exceptional, particularly the roast chicken and the crispy kale. The staff were attentive and the food was served quickly and was well presented. At a time when everyone is looking for good value the experience was well worth it.

The beef roast was something else! Best one I’ve had for a very long time.. affogato with the soft serve honey vanilla too.. game changer!!

Really good food, service and a lovely comfortable ambience. Ended up visiting two nights in a row because we’d enjoyed the food so much the first evening and wanted to try some other dishes.

We had lunch. I had the lobster pot to start followed by seafood linguine. My wife had calamari followed by roasted monkfish. Washed down with a nice bottle of pino grigio. The service was first class and the food was excellent . With a pud and coffee I thought £140 including a tip was about right and good value. We had our 2 Cavalier King Charles spaniels with us and we were all made very welcome. I can heartily recommend.

Due to graduation at the University everywhere was fully booked. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt. Would visit again
