With stone walls, beamed ceilings and cosy corners throughout, it’s the perfect location for dining with friends, family or intimate evenings for two! We pride ourselves on serving fantastic food and drink with a strong emphasis on local produce and offering our locals and out of town guests genuine hospitality. With fires throughout and large riverside gardens the the pub is perfect for all seasons.Our menu is served throughout the pub, in our large stonewalled bar with open fire and woodburner, our cosy snug, and in our restaurant with beamed ceilings and woodburner.

    Sam's is our favourite restaurant in Fowey - we eat here a lot! The food is fabulous, good prices, generous sized portions and served by amazingly friendly and efficient staff. Sam's has a lovely vibe and we're always sorry to leave but we'll soon be back!

    I visited Sam’s on the beach at Polkerris with my best friend. I had the scallops and seafood linguine which was absolutely divine. My friend had the steak and she said it was the nicest steak she had ever eaten! Your staff are a credit to you, so polite and attentive. I look forward to visiting again later in the year.

    Definite 5 star thumbs up. Sunday carvery, lots of meat, great choice of veg and the cauliflower cheese was delicious. Service was great, staff were very friendly and accommodating (letting us change tables). Will definitely go back again and highly recommend. Dog friendliness and doggy food options are a brilliant bonus!
